start off by advising you to use it one of the many local credit unions for better service, rates and an overall experience. Pretty easy to understand why the rating is so low for Chase Bank and particularly this branch. Customer service is beyond terrible. They have their little word tracks they've been taught to say rather than actually use their brains and think about how to apply logic and brains to actual customer service. Angel the manager would rather argue then address a simple issue which is why I am no longer a customer.

Had to get a new bank card. Customer service man, Elias S., was very helpful. Even went out to ATM to show me how to use the Pay app on my phone at an ATM. Helped me install new card on my phone, I was so frazzled. Called me the next day to tell me card was issued and mailed. This kind of service, is sadly, rare.

To Have your Credit Card Set Up, This is an Excellent Place.

People were nice but they just wanted to go home. Opened a new account an hour till close. They skipped through everything and got my account set up and kicked me out the door. Didn’t give me a temporary card. Didn’t go over ANYTHING with me. I literally left with a chase folder asking myself what just happened. Might be closing me account tomorrow.... I would’ve must rather been told to come back tomorrow instead of being rushed and kicked out the door with no idea what they just signed me up for. Not to mention my money is just PENDING and I’m stuck with no way of buying anything.

I always feel welcome at this particular branch. I like the music playing on the background. As to waiting in line - I try to avoid rush hours and do all possible banking on my phone. Whoever complains about long lines/waiting time at this branch has never being to the Escondido branch.

They are good most of the time. I do miss some of the staff that have left. They’ve gone through some turnover lately so it isn’t nearly as friendly, but they are still a good branch. Some of the tellers need to pay attention to detail as they have gotten my transactions wrong but overall they get it right more often than they get it wrong.

EXCELLENT Service! .... HOWEVER, The entire bank was very responsive to all my needs & very timely! Particular praises for Jorge C. ("George") who when a banker was not available for a drop-in meeting; he called several other local Chase branches to find someone who would meet with me. BRAVO Jorge!!!

This place is useless! So I go in to make a cash deposit and the lady in the branch tells me to do it outside at the ATM. I do it outside and the machine issues no receipt for the transaction, I back inside and the lady says “sorry about that, there must be an issue with the machine” and then tells me “you should be able to use what you deposited and if you get over draft fees we will waive them” guess what?..can’t use the atm card, the customer service reps are telling me that I have to wait till Dec 1 till they get someone to go verify the funds. What kind of horrible service is this? That explains the rating at his branch

Nice local Chase Bank. Tellers are always very friendly and they have 2 ATM's, one drive up and one walk up.

Always great service with friendly Cashiers and private Bankers for members.
