Chase Bank S Main, Cedar Springs

So I had $266.33 taken from a merchant that had NO pre or authorization to take from my account. Called the Cedar springs bank and they couldn't help me. I had to talk to someone in the fraud department so they transfered me. I made a claim, the money was put back. They recommended for me to come in and get a new card. So I went in that day and had my current card deleted and waited for a new card in the mail.. Come to find out it was a merchant that I made a payment to in the past. I did not and will never set up pre authorization for future payments. 3 weeks later, it happened again, same amount same merchant. I went into the bank. 1 teller , 1 loan officer on a friday afternoon. Teller ask that I wait, so I did. She stated after 10 minutes of waiting that the gentleman would be busy the rest of the day and could she help, nope I want to talk with someone that can answer my questions face to face. Waited 5 minutes and teller rudely ask if she can help and offered the manager in some back closet to help me. I said sure. She finely came out and said the manager would be busy the rest of the day. Called the fraud line again. They sided with the merchant and Gave my money back again. My bank, my money and they decided on there own. They claim they called and left a message, NOT! How about call again or mention it to me when I come in the bank every Friday or call my phone # at the house they have on file. I will be leaving chase bank and taking MY money with me and ta instead of did a playing your game pride on the counter behind the tellers, save it for your personal space. Taking my loans to another bank. ......... Rude, unprofessional and lazy. Drive through teller is awesome.. feel free to comment if you wish to further discuss this in private and professionally. Before driving to Chase Cedar Springs Bank, I called and spoke to the manager about a service they did for me last year. She said it could be done again the same way so I arrived and they directed me to Matthew who said no and told me to go online, talk to an online representative. Cedar Springs Chase bank had no customers when I arrived. Matthew wasn’t helpful and even the manager tried to get him to help more, but he wouldn’t. So, I drove to another Chase bank, they were professional, courteous, and I walked out of there with what I needed.

Really friendly people.. get a letter regards dormant account. Have until X day to take care of it when in fact it's not so... Takes two people to close an account and.... You have to make an appointment WTH..... Unless someone is available..... Sorry I don't have that kind of time.... Done with Chase Bank. Will stick with credit unions

Staff is very friendly and welcoming! Special shout out to Matthew Morey, he really went above and beyond to help me. He was really dedicated to making sure everything with my account was sorted out and was super fun to work with. 😊

This was my first bank and I honestly thought that I was going to be with them for a life time. I had no problem with them up until a few months ago when they started stealing money from me. I called a few times and every person I talked to was smug and seemed like they didn't care or offer any kind of assistance, it was more like a "not my problem" kind of attitude. I had to come in twice to close my account. They closed the accounts they weren't messing with and left the account open that they were stealing from. Just sad. I went to Lake Michigan Credit Union where I am treated like a human being and not some "account number"

A pretty sweet spot. The customer service was terrific. The banker who helped me was magnificent, helpful and knowledgeable all-around. Would go back here another great experience. The only downside was that it was a Saturday and there was only one banker which made for some kind of a line here for people who wanted specifically to talk to a banker.

Had several issues using this bank. Always had to take my money and put it in my parents bank in order to order my medical devices and specialized computer devices online. Decided to go to a bank that didn't have this problem, (extremely easy to find them despite what the tellers tried to say).

The drive up ATM could be positioned better to make for easier access from a vehicle. Also, it would be nice if another ATM was available for others walking up. People tend to cut in front of vehicles.

The telller Melissa raises the bar for service and has helped me with every problem I have came across banking. 6/5
