Chase Bank Smith St, Perth Amboy

1. No parking. Good luck finding parking on the streets. 2. Run down. Last time I went, only one out of three ATMs were working. There was a homeless person sitting in the lobby area opening doors for people that walked in and out. People had to wait a very long time to use the machines. 3. Dirty. The entire Perth Amboy downtown isn't the cleanest but the area around the bank especially is dirty. There is garbage all over the floor. 4. Staff is friendly for the most part. I've never encountered rude staff here.

Great bank but poor location, the bank is downtown and in front of a bus stop, very hard to find parking. They have 4 atm machines in total, 2 outside 24/7 and 2 inside when they are open. staff are friendly and take care of you but theirs usually a 10 minute wait to talk to them.

Avoid this location at all costs!!! Uneducated, rude people work here!!!!! This is the worst Chase branch ever, I feel like a criminal when they ask you to prove yourself when you forget to bring your bank debit card. And still after proving your identity they do not smile they treat you like garbage and always rushing, you, and giving you smart answers. And they are famous for walking away when you are asking them a question. this is why I try to avoid this branch and drive to Hoboken to get all of my banking done.

The wait here is ridiculous. I'm here getting a new card and I've been waiting for more than 30 minutes because they have only one person working in customer service. They only have two tellers as well. They should think about hiring more people.

This banck is so bad first thanks God tha that I don't have a account with them I walk in nobody is there to help I walk to one of the consultants and ask him if there is any teller available to help me he tell me that probably are in the back she hear is talking and tell me how can I help you I tell her to cash a check and she asks me for 2 forms of ID and then she tell me is $8 dollars for the transaction I said really the check is from this back and she said if you don't want to get charged for it you should opa account with us

The branch is kind of beat up looking. The chairs are ripped and stained. It’s probably one of the most down-market looking Chase banks that I’ve ever been in. The location is convenient. The staff are very nice and quite helpful. It’s a busy location. The bathroom has always been clean when I’ve used it.

This bank is horrible always a line for a teller. while co-worker just do is mingle. Had 5 booths, 2 machine, more then half dozen workers but only 2 tellers are working. There times I don't enter because the line for the teller is outsidethe door. This place is so unprofessional. I only come do to my paychecks either then that I would go some where else.

I bank manager was so rude too me she's still there now and I want to reopen an account because I love chase bank I used to be with them since 2014 but I will not go to the Perth Amboy Bank ever!!!

well it was my favorite chase until the brought those machines in. apparently they're trying to save money on tellers. not a good move chase, what about the people that can not make transactions on the machines? they have to suck it up and wait along time for a teller? not good chase. Changing banks.

Sitting here waiting for over an hour For service for commercial account this place only has two employees and one of them only deals with commercial acounts unbelievable the notion that with such an advance and high demanding society one would have to wait so long never again shame on me for not going to Woodbridge or another branch
