Chase Bank East 86th St, New York

I have tried multiple times in the past 2 weeks to schedule an appointment and each time the rep cancels on me with short notice, except the last time when they didn't cancel. They just let me show up without saying the branch was going to close early! God awful customer service. I have banked with Chase for over a decade but this abysmal branch is going to make me stop. They genuinely do not care about their customers.

Very helpful. Their service is good. Someone will almost always welcome you and ask you if you need any help. Their hours are pretty good (for a bank) and they also have notary services for chase customers which is great. The only issue is the security of the ATMs at night. One night my friend was pulling out cash and there was a shady person who was loitering in the ATM area who kept asking her for money. She was alone and felt threatened so she gave him money and left.

I walked in to get a roll of quarters. On the way out, I drop the roll in front of a worker who was standing next to other workers who were working on their computers. The African American older employee sees my quarters disperse, looks down, says "quarters", then proceeds to walk around me and slowly walks away. I'm not advocating that he is required to help me in any circumstance, but a good service who've led him to at least show some effort to help, especially when it was so clear that he was not attending anyone or was busy. If you are looking for a service, don't go here. There are many other branches nearby that are way superior than the branch here. Chase is known for their superior employees with exceptional levels of service.....NOT HERE. Avoid unless you are only looking to use the ATM.

Notary service I am a Private Client status customer. I needed a document notarized; Told too busy, sorry maybe come back later and check again! Not happy with this type of dismissive attitude. WOW 😳

Very disappointed with the level of service here. I came in to see if i could get a fee waived which was the first one I ever received in almost a decade of having this account. The older light skin lady with glasses that sits in the front called me over, i explained the situation and she just stated she won’t do it because it was in the terms and conditions and it was not a discretionary thing she could refund which is incorrect. She did not look at my account or anything. I called customer service after and got the fee waived. I’m not complaining about chase bank but just the level of service this branch provided which was impersonal and did nothing to deepen any relationship.

Don't visit this branch! - not only is Chase one of the worst banks when it comes to customer service, the staff in this specific Chase branch gave me the worst and most unpleasant banking experience ever. Something as simple as transferring money between two internal Chase accounts ended up taking 4 branch visits and over 5 hours of accumulated waiting time. Watch out!

Bank manager is great and is very understanding. The tellers are great, friendly, and understanding. Great bank for a small business owner.
