I don't know what the other reviews are describing but it isn't what I experienced when working with Chartr Advisors. I too, was referred by someone that retired. We always get quick return call. Leyland figures out what filling status is best for our family. Takes time explaining new tax laws and is always professional. When he can't return our calls right away the lady in the office will contact us. (sorry I do not remember her name)

This guy has gone off the deep end. Did my taxes but, never filed it. Refused to answer calls or emails. Had to pay another bookkeeper hundreds of dollars to refile the taxes I paid Leland to do. I wish I could give negative 5 stars 2021.

Took my money and never filed the taxes, Ripped me off for $200.00

I would not recommend this office to anyone he is not reliable honest trustworthy does not return phone calls does not feel that your life is important I'm totally lost for words on what this man has done to us myself and my husband.. we were told several several times that he was working on our taxes when indeed he was not then we were told he filed an extension on our taxes because I guess he was overwhelmed with too many clients he did not have permission to do this then turned around and his secretary told us that he did file an extension when in fact he didn't so now the IRS wants $804.99 it's a penalty for not filing on time again not our fault.. . not to mention 2017 he filed our taxes and didn't put our 1090a proving that we had insurance for the whole year so it got us kicked off The marketplace insurance which now wants us to pay $1014.00 plus co-pays and deductibles and we were paying a hundred $114.00 a month he put us in a real bad predicament and was not there to help us get through this all due to his neglect.. it's been lies after lies we turned our taxes in the first week of March of this yr didn't get our taxes back until May 15th 2019 the day we fired him and please understand my husband is a self-employed semi owner operator we had an accountant for 19 years but she retired so she sent us over to their office that's where the hell began..because of the LIE we were told Time after Time he is working on it we found out he was not at all we as a family are suffering due to his lies I have literally been beside myself trying to take and handle the mess he has put us in so now because of his neglect we are thousands of dollars in the hole and suffering mentally emotionally financially and physically because he did not do his job correctly so no I wouldn't advise anyone to take their chances I am 59 years old and my husband is 62 and I even asked the office what did we do that was so bad that you could treat us this way... no sympathy no care no compassion it's totally insulting beyond words I am suffering with heart disease I cannot afford to be without insurance and he knew that but he still did not care he still won't get on the phone he still won't talk to me he still can't explained why he did this and his secretary 90% you will get her and she's not good at her job either so I'm letting you all know beware unless you want your life ruined. .. and trust me I wouldn't have gave him one star if it didn make me 💔

I would give zero stars if it were possible. Absolutely do not take your accounting work to this firm. Leland Proshek is incredibly unprofessional. Rather than just acknowledging that he would not complete my organization's tax filing, he kept pushing meetings back, and not returning calls or emails until I finally took my business elsewhere. Meanwhile we missed the filing deadline.

I had a very difficult and complicated tax situation and Mr. Proshek made that situation much easier on me. He was patient, kind and compassionate. Even though I put off getting my taxes done because of fear which made the situation worse, Mr. Proshek reassured me that he would do his very best to resolve it for me and he did exactly that. I am forever grateful and will never go anywhere else.

Absolutely the worst accounting firm in the area. Much like the other review, we were transferred from another accountant who retired. I ended up having to demand my files and take them to another firm because he failed to do as he said he would. You call and NEVER get a return call.
