Central Bank Bagnell Dam Blvd, Lake Ozark

I initially established a personal checking account online with $100 deposit. Went to the bank to show my ID to finalize the account, per their instruction, and they could not find my information or the account! It was no where to be found!!! My personal information is now floating in cyberspace! 👎🏼 That should have been my first warning. But because I’m an open minded person and willing to give a second chance, I decided to reach out to Central about a mortgage on a new home. The central loan officer, who I was referred by my realtor, had zero sense of urgency and it took approximately 6 weeks to get my Preapproval. This delay was very odd to me, because I was already preapproved by two other reputable lenders and received their preapprovals in a few days. Not weeks!! Unfortunately, there were multiple voicemails that I left for the Loan Officer trying to capture the status on my preapproval, but those voicemails went unanswered and ignored. Because my experience was so horrific, I left a review on social media for the realtor to document my unpleasant experience and to raise awareness. This is when true unprofessionalism showed his ugly face. The Loan officer reached out to my realtor complaining about a negative review I had left on their social media account. After I was finally approved, it was just few weeks later I was ready to make an offer on house, but it fell through. Beat out by another offer. Not long after, I was ready to try to pursue another property I had interest in. unbeknownst to me, the loan officer had closed my file! Basically putting me right back at square one. At no time did the loan officer advise me the file was closed, much less offer me an opportunity to update my Preapproval, or that an update was mandatory to proceeded with my purchase. Needless to say, I have pursued other opportunities as Central Bank because just can’t seem to get their act together.

I have used this bank for 20 plus years and have Never had a bad experience. Great service, and incredibly helpful, professional bank staff!

I had a great experience at this location. I’m not usually in a rush but the day I was there, Ms. Campbell was very understanding of my need to be quick. She was very nice and expedited my transaction. I was also very appreciative that even though I was rushed, she still made sure to check my ID to make sure I was who I said I was. WORST BANK EVER! Literally have had NOTHING but problem after problem with this poor excuse of a bank. 1. They put people on a 90 day “probationary” period in which I can’t deposit checks over $500, it takes 5 days for any check to clear, and soooo many other headaches 2. I can’t deposit a check even if it’s signed over to me unless That person physically comes in to be added to your account 3. They have SO many fees that other banks I deal with do not have 4. I recently deposited a check for $650 and they cleared it as $65.. I am closing my account with them once they correct the $650 check mistake, I will be taking all my money out and paying my mortgage through US Bank. It’s been headache after headache with this bank, I have not had one pleasant money transaction since I’ve opened my account with them WORST BANK EVER 😡😤🤬👎👎
