    Worst bank ever ! They never answer their phones ! I’m going to Florida this Tuesday and they decide to wait a week earlier to late my know my card is fraud and blocked it permanently. Now I Don’t know what to do because my new card doesn’t come in exactly in 10 days and they don’t give out temporary cards . HORRIBLE! They need to do better as a bank !!!!

    I will be closing my account with CenCap. I've been inconvenienced too many times with this institution. They hold your checks for five to seven business days but dont tell you this when you open an account...I was told that I could go to the bank that the check is cut from..So I think I will do that instead of wasting anymore of my time with this institution. They don't even have IRAs; and if they do, it's not at every branch. Make it make sense!

    Literally can’t make a phone call to them without calling 100 times. They don’t call back and there page constantly says they’re open when they aren’t. I’m switching banks because they clearly don’t care about there job or the people that they serve

    The bank is good. It’s getting three stars cause trying to get a call through is terrible. No one ever picks up the phone and I’ve been tryin for a while right now.

    Been with them since they were the Hartford Municipal Federal Employee Credit Union or something to that effect back in, like '92. Wow, over 30 years right? I was a teen back then. Best EVER...LOVE THEM even when I can't endorse a check, it is what it is. The fees are near to nothing and they are just a life saver compared to most of the banks that bleed you to death with their fees. Even better than Franklin Credit Union on Trumbull St. At first they were just my piggy bank that I could never find because they were so hard to find, but took $20 a week so I could never go broke with them, :)...and they have a notary public, how cool is that. I never knew that. Anyways, they never cease to amaze me and I'm glad I've had them this long, and now that they are Cencap AND have an app....AWESOME SAAAAAAAAUCE, :) Awesome work in progress and I'm forever indebted to this institution. May You last forever, and so sorry to hear the Main street branch had to close. Had to go there when I needed a couple thing like a notary public and ID theft. Too many good, helpful, caring people work there. Thank you so much and I wish you the best of luck in this crazy economy. YOU ARE STILL MY GO TO, :) And they DO have 24 hr service if you lose your card because I've lost mine three times during COVID and they are super awesome. Sure the company's from out of some other area, but they make sure to lock your card so you can't get any funds taken out, :)...and if it's a debit card, so expect money to not be guaranteed when someone uses your Debit card because you were irresponsible. That's what credit cards are for, which I learned the hard way but still grateful. Thank you again to you all, :) You can do NO WRONG BY ME. Dedicated since, I think '92 and you have yet to disapoint me as a credit union and not a bank. Some people are just spoiled and want to go off on you, but trust me you have some true fans because Wachovia, BOA, Even People's United started charging for someone having a debit card!!! REALLY? ANYWAYS, awesome CREDIT UNION. LOVE YOU FOLKS AND DO NOT WORRY about those who know NOTHING about all the good that you have contributed to your customers, :) Stay SAFE MI GENTE ❤

    Worst Bank Ever!! Don't use this bank unless you have no choice. If your info is stolen they don't have 24 hour assistance for customers. You have to wait for the bank to open to report it. They don't give temporary cards if yours is stolen, deactivated, lost. The customer service sucks. Most banks credit your account for fraudulent activity they don't! They make you wait 30 days for your money that someone elae stole. I haven't been able to use my money for seven days because I work and they take a full ten days to send your card. I'm closing my account and don't recommend anyone open an account here.

    Fantastic Financial Institution. I've done my banking here for the past 5 years. The service is amazing and the staff always bends over backwards to be helpful. If you're looking for a place to do your banking, this is it. Great loans, great credit cards, great service.

    I’m not quite sure who is writing these reviews but clearly they’re lying. On the plus side- I will say that the bank tellers are great. However this review is not for the bank tellers. It’s for the loan officers. One loan officer in particular. Her name is Marjorie. The current rating I’ve chosen perfectly reflects her attitude, her lack of customer service, her unprofessionalism and my confusion as to why this person is still employed with Cencap. Whether it’s on the phone or in person- Marjorie will always be sure to NOT care about anything you have to say. She’s more interested in taking her lunch. It always amazes me how people like Marjorie have kept their jobs. I know for a fact that I’m not the first person to have to deal with her attitude and her dismissive behavior. Has no one said anything? Are they too afraid? What is the reason behind a lack of complaints for a woman who could not care less when it comes to the customers of Cencap? I drove all the way to Cencap- which is out of my way- just to sit down for like 5 minutes with Marjorie and have her dismiss everything I ask her. She acted like I WAS INCONVENIENCING her with my presence. I don’t care what happened to make Marjorie act that way- when you are at work, you leave your personal issues at home. That’s like customer service 101. There are countless homeless individuals who are looking for a break in this world. It’s my recommendation that the hiring team at Cencap give Marjorie’s job to one of them. I’d be willing to bet they’d do a much better job than she has ever done.
