For 4 years I have a good experience with CEFCU, definitely I love it

Excellent Credit Union to work with. I bank there personally as well as professionally and they are a great partner to work with in regard to the business end. Everyone is very kind and helpful there. Highly recommend!

We started doing business at this location in 1984, when it was Logan County Credit Union! “Better than a bank” is the current slogan and in many ways, it most certainly is! I describe it as “a bank for the average person”. That is the hardworking person “working” for a living, small business owner “still paying his dues”, the practical “down to earth” people that form the core of any society. I don’t see many “arrogant hoity toity types in the lobby, or many professional people (lawyers, doctors, judges, accomplished business owners or wealthy people for that matter. Perhaps that is because this place does not encourage those types to join, or there are “other” reasons I am not aware of. I do know, when they first moved to town, they did not offer commercial accounts and in fact tried to get rid of most they “inherited”. It was not until recently ( around 2005 or so) that they even offered commercial accounts. Cefcu is a lot better with personal accounts than with business banking (different Federal banking rules, I believe). Cefcu, you can’t beat them for personal or small business banking!

Worst bank ever, i told 3 different ladies im hard of hearing an couldnt hear what they were saying so they started talking even softer.. An the big 6ft drag queen that works the front counter was very rude... Im closing out my account an going to state bank...

It was a good experience. But personally, it took forever

Twice I have gotten a loan through cefcu Lincoln Illinois member center and both times they have forgotten a critical piece of paperwork and submitted everything anyways. I show up with everything they asked for and get the loan. I now owe them $16,000 for a truck that I can’t title, plate or drive.

This is the worst bank EVER!!! They like to accuse their customers of bringing in fraudulent checks .. then asks to see paperwork that I’m not supposed to show to anyone and still refuses to cash the check... this is the second time they’ve done this to me and guess what it’ll be the last time too... closing my accounts and I’m telling EVERYONE I know that has an account there to do the same... the employees there who is ancient based her opinion on my looks.. I came in to the bank in my work clothes lol pathetic!!!! You will never get my business EVER AGAIN

Cefcu as a whole is a joke they always want to change policy with no notification to there customers this person will be finding someone else.

Worthless bank , claims my checks are fraudulent takes me extra days to get them cashed , there new manager assistant is a joke , and the people who've been there the longest are the rudest & the most incompetent.... Won't be back & will take my accounts elsewhere....

They been good for use no issues
