Cashland 38th St, Bellaire

I'm obviously only speaking on my experiences with cash land. They have always been more than fair on prices when something is simply being pawned and held untill it is picked back up. Never had a problem with staff worth gripping over so that's all there is in this review.

Many complaints were happening when i walked in here. Some lady was pretty upset, but my experience was good and fair.

This place is very professional and ot husband and I were very pleased with the prices they offered us. The worker was very polite and knew exactly what he was talking about. We will b using this pawn shop from now on.

I love this Cashland! I've had to pawn some things in between pays and they always offered me an excellent price. Not to mention since I always come back and get my stuff it's built up credit with them which is really nice when I'm in a bind. I've also purchased items that I always got a good deal on and with the piece of mind insurance I was able to get a refund for something that quit working a few days later. I highly recommend this place!

My favorite place for buying video games and electronics for my kids. Prices are reasonable and they'll even go lower if you just ask. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

This place sucks we bought a tv and they told us about the flexshopper option there was no fees just interest after 90 days if not paid off. That ended up not being true we went back trying to return item they would not allow it and said that everyone that is employed there would have told us there were fees and THEY DID NOT. The main guy that works there is a liar and not nice at all. I recommend never buying from cashland unless you pay for your item before walking out. Never going back there again.

Don't bring your laptop here unless you want the value based on the thickness of it instead of the actual specs. I could go buy a brand new one that's the exact thickness of mine. I couldn't believe my ears. Went elsewhere where they knew how to value it and got exactly what I needed. The dude that jumped in on the sale has always been a BS'r even when I'm in buying stuff. No wonder their stock is getting worse. He's ruining that store! Because that was another one he tried using to base the price off of. One day it's because they have too much stock and this time it was because they have too little. I'm confused? I've seen the game played each time, he walks by the employee that's with you at the counter and makes a comment. Sparks up a conversation and hits you with a pennies on the dollar offer. Nope!

Went in a couple days ago to pawn my Xbox. They offered me $70 for it. That’s very low, but I needed to pay my phone bill. So I did it. Went in today it get it back, and the lady informs be they take CASH only. What year is this? Is this 2021 or 2001? What place doesn’t take a debit/credit card? So now they pretty much get to keep my $200 Xbox one for $70. I’m very irritated with this place. I’ve done business here before. And I’m almost 100% certain I’ve paid with my debit card before. I wouldn’t of had a problem with this, but no one ever told me I had to have cash only. Not in person, not on the papers, not over the phone. So I went and paid bills. I ended up with $43 in my account. I was going to go in, use the $43 plus overdraw my account $40 (which my bank lets me do). But no, now I’m out $200 on an Xbox because cashland doesn’t wanna bring their systems up to 2021. I’ll never go here again. I’ll go without before I take anything here. Absolutely ridiculous.

I just went to this store today tried to sell my Wii system to them, they said they don't buy Refurbished merchandise, but they sell refurbished merchandise, plus they sell merchandise that don't even work. I bought 2 Wii systems there and neither of them worked, So when I took them back, Instead of doing away with them, they stuck the system back on the shelf to be resold again. They try to say they don't sell broken items or refurbished Items but they do. Don't let them tell you any different, they do sell broken stuff, plus they do sell refurbished stuff. This place is a joke, the people who work there don't know their rear end from a whole in the ground when they say they don't sell refurbished stuff when i know they do. don't let them tell you the line that they don't buy refurbished stuff when they actualy do buy refurbished stuff, and resell stuff that is broken.

Don't sell to them, I was offered $25 for a $2000 item because she heard me tell my friend I don't think I have the gas to get home. ..after she printed a $500 price tag I changed my mind, another vulture business getting rich on other people who are struggling to get by.
