Cash Wise Foods Grocery Store Minot 16th St, Minot

Management cares about and treats their employees like family. They have a courteous and fast checkout staff. I feel like there is always an employee around when you need one and they always have an answer if you need help finding anything no matter how off the wall or bizarre your request may be. They could charge higher prices and I'd still go there. It's the only grocery store in town that I go to. Much better than Marketplace or Walmart.

i just moved here and was told this is the place to go for the best prices and good options as far as groceries go. so far, that's true. but the issue im running into is there are so few baggers and im bagging my own things when in the lanes to check out, not at self-checkout. its just annoying that in the almost week of being here, ive had to do this, so if im missing the memo of this being how it works at cash wise, somebody please fill me in, id appreciate it!

Sparkling clean, friendly staff...always stocked. A much better alternative to the big store with a "W" down the street. True story: witnessed an employee last night patiently walk the store with an elderly (she had a german accent, ask anyone working last night and they can confirm, she was quite vocal 😁) lady who needed ingredients for a cake...this dude walked the entire store with her finding the ingredients...that ain't happening at the other places in town...

Didn't have sale signs on some things and they only had one checkout lane so we had to stand in line for a while.

Good place to shop. I wish there automatic machines could be used for cash purchases.

Very disappointed about customer service..... I wanted to use their Western Union service.... Several different days I went in to counter and they told me it did not work... But the previous time they had said it said they were understaffed... And that it did not make them money.... The last time I went in to try to use their Western Union service... again Is broken.. You downright lied.. they had staff there . Is doing nothing .. Is very rudely arrogant when he told me this. He is uneducated not knowing that the service brings customers in and then we'll do shopping which I would like to do. But being treated that way I think it's out of hand in calls for a serious meeting with his boss. Definitely one rotten spoiled Apple can spoil the whole Is company reputation..

Best prices around. Good quality produce. Wide selection of specialty diet foods( diabetic, gluten free etc).

I love shopping at Cash Wise when I'm in town because of their large selection of foods that are available. Cashiers are always courteous and professional

So much better than Walmart for groceries, other shoppers are way more polite, and the employees are actually pleasant and helpful. Produce and meat selection was clean and well stocked, aisles were clean and free of clutter. Such a great well maintained grocery store!!!

Picked up a cake I ordered, on 11/26/2021 at around 3pm.The bakery clerk that helped me was so rude it seemed she was bothered by everything I asked I will never shop at your store again.

We went there for some hydrogen peroxide and some juice

Always bought my groceries here. Although the last three times I ordered for pick-up, the attendants argued with me. I figured I should be allowed to load my own groceries. But they insist they have to help. I understand it's not their fault, and it comes down entirely on management. My German Shepherd goes everywhere with me, so now if I want to pick up at Cash Wise, I have to fight my dog, while their attendants are forced to sit their and help me, even though it makes the whole process 100 times harder. And if a customer wants to load their own groceries, don't force your attendants to stand their and watch them? It's an uncomfortable situation for everyone. I now just have my groceries delivered to my door through Marketplace Foods. They don't argue with me when I'm putting my groceries in the fridge.

Was in there today and wanted to purchase 2 items at the fish counter. Got ignored by the people until finally had to go and ask for assistance. Sorry but that is not a way to run any business.

THIS STORE HAD SPLIT CHICKEN BREAST WITH SKIN ON IT, LOVED THAT. THEY HAVE POWER CHAIRS FOR THE DISABLE ALSO, BATHROOM & CURB SIDE PICK UP, VERY NICE STORE.

Great prices, lazy workers. I was in line the person in front was almost done and I had a couple items but the cashier told me that I have to go to self check out. It’s no big deal but I do have metal rods and pins, she wasn’t busy so it was just pure laziness that she told me to go check myself out and have me walk some more on my poor foot because she didn’t want to scan my items. Marketplace has nicer people who actually can do thier jobs 👍🏽

Went in for eggnog and they had it. Walmart did not .... The butter quarters i bought mustve been in the wrong spot or mis-marked ...$5.19 instead of $3 something ... Lady at the checkout was probably the nicest person in the universe. So my 3 star was basically for pricing.

Not the best place to cash wic checks. I had 2 to cash today (a large one and a milk and juice one) I did the smaller of the 2 first and the cashier guy told me the juice didn't work. It was 100% juice from old orchard and wasn't on the no list in the most updated nd wic food list. I've gotten the same juice at Walmart and marketplace using my wic check so I was slightly irritated. Then cashing my large check he said the cheese sticks didn't work so I pulled out the list and showed him and he said he doesn't make the rules. He also said my juice on that check didn't work nor did the multigrain cheerios. I left there with only half the stuff on my checks because he never offered to have anyone grab a different juice or ask a manager over to see why it says on the WIC list it works but wasn't working for him to ring it up. There was only 2 lanes open and 4 people behind me so I wasn't going to make those people wait while I grabbed different stuff. All and all I guess I'll stick to cashing them at marketplace.

Prices are reasonable. Pretty good selection of fresh foods. Love taht you don't have to clip store coupons any more as they ring up automatically if you are a More Rewards member.

Good prices but disorganized layout and flow. Was very difficult to find stuff and what staff there was, wasn't very helpful. At 6 on a Sunday they had no lanes open so you have no choice but to do self checkout, when there are lanes open you have to bag your own groceries.

Great store! A lot of things you can get cheaper elsewhere but they have some pretty unique items. The selection of fresh meats and produce is the best in town though !

If you have a cashier,.....and the customer still has to bag their own items,.....maybe just put in more self checkout stands?? Meh. The meat department is decent, so at least there's that.

Only 2 cashiers, I had to do self checkout and had a cartfull of stuff to include the bottom of the cart. Spent over $200...does anyone else think that with the prices we pay we should have to checkout, bag and cart our groceries to the car.

Myrewards is an amazing program. No need to provide coupon at registers. Your membership does it for you. App allows you to not only make a shopping list on line but to see sales that you might have not seen!! Super simple sign up too. Clean store. Friendly staff. Great deals. Good food. CashWise is awesome!!

The price of a rotisserie chicken has gone up nearly 60%. $1.50 for 1 apple at a grocery store? Probably have to start eating at a soup kitchen before long if their prices keep going up at that rate.

Very large selection of products. Store was clean and well organized. Prices are competitive. Staff was helpful.

Prices were a little better than the competition and better quality of meat.

During this visit, a couple of caring workers went the "extra mile" to help me find what I wanted. I was so impressed with their helpfulness that I purchased two instead of one. It is difficult in today's environment to get assistance in most stores, so it was outstanding to have both of them so willing to help!

Prices on meat has become unbearable but still like to come here for most things.

Great selection and high prices make this place a wonderful place to shop. Yes I said high prices. However the selection is great so I guess that makes up for it. Got a pretty good bakery and a wonderful meat section too.If you're looking for something special you might stop in and you might be presently surprised.

Was at a hotel and needed one thing. Listed on Google and on the store as closing at 10. Got there at 9:51 and was closed with two employees standing around just past the second doors. I got in through the “exit” and had to push some carts away to go to the entrance side. Was told I’d only have less than 10 minutes. No problem. Was out at 9:56 and spent $20 more grabbing Gatorade and jerky on the way to the checkout. Management - if you are going to post hours, please let/instruct your workers to honor them please. Maybe have your hours posted, the door open, and Simone standing there telling people they “have less than __ minutes”?

Sweet deals and Walmart isn't everything for low-cost shopping 🙃 🙂

Great selection, good deals too. Only thing I was unsatisfied with was at 10 or 10:30pm all the cashier's close and you have to use the self checkout. My wife and I had 2 full carts and our 3 young children with and the self checkout was not designed for large transactions.

Always find something different to buy that you can't get at other stores. Great customer service

This location offers convenient self-checkout. The selection of items is great. This store offers a decent selection of gluten free foods but they should segment out the signage to better indicate its location. There is an extensive selection of bulk candies and other products.

This is a spotlessly clean grocery store. The employees are always helpful and friendly. The last time I went, not only did the cashier have a box of pre-cut coupons for the items I hadn't been aware were on sale, but there was a special going in which I earned free items: they had a box of those items handy so I didn't have to go back to find them! That goes above and beyond, I was so impressed! The bulk foods section is a great buy, the deli and meat department has a great selection, and the array of fresh fruits and vegetables is the best in town. I definitely recommend shopping here.

I had gone online shopping and came home to find out that we were missing $25 out of our groceries... was not happy. Please make sure all the items are in the bag. This isn't the first time it's happened and we've been polite before cause it would only be a couple dollars but $25?

Best place to find various organic produce/essential oils. Only grocery open 24/7 though when they have a coupon for something, all the product is sold out by the third day. Bulk selection is amazing, ranging from coffee to spices to organic flours and noodle products and cereal, all at really great prices.

Its a nice place with plenty of options at low prices. I feel like places such as this get a bad rep for some reason. But i did about 2-3 weeks worth of shopping here (shopping for 1 person) for only about 70 bucks. I did 2/3s the shopping at walmart and broke 100 easy. I will definately be coming back reguarly for shopping

Cash Wise is a great grocery store with a surprising selection of surprising quality for a more remote area. I particularly love the meat department and counter. They do have one of these annoying coupon membership programs that, without participating, results in some price suprises at the register. Discount prices are more prominently displayed and require participation. If you're local it worth joining but may be frustrating to those from out of area.

Little confusing as far as the layout... But they have the best produce in town bye a mile!! Really like their seafood selection when they have it. Don't mess with their fresh bread section it's less than bad. That's the 4*

Awesome selection friendly staff and a DMV Kiosk to get tour registration current on your motor vehicle. Win win win!

Stopped in to grab some gluten free groceries. A great section in the Natural foods at the back corner of the store and then a bunch of other GF items through the whole store that aren't in this section as well. Very helpful staff.

I love Shopping at Cash Wise but tonight was rediculous. I did my shopping and went to check out. There was only one register with a cashier and he was closing down. I am disabled and needed help. The cashier was great and helped me. However, why is the last cashier closing down when the store is open all night and a disabled person could come in. It's becoming just like Wall Mart and that is why I stopped shopping there!

Hi. It was a pleasure to shop in your wonderful store and I found most of the items I was looking for. The staff impressed me, too! Even helped me get the groceries to my car. Have breathing problems, so that was appreciated! Sure hope you find an aisle for Paleo items (items with no grains, dairy, sugar, and processed foods). Thanks for inviting me to give my input. His place is always as quick as you want to make it in and out and they always have what I'm looking for prices are about average sometimes better on some things however the one thing I don't really care for about the store is that if you go through a register with a check out person you are still have to bag your own groceries now the alternative is you can go through the self check and ring yourself up and bag yourself up, which is what I usually do but sometimes or I guess a lot of the times it feels like I'm working for then I come in I find my stuff I bring it up to the front and I'll bring myself up at put in a bag the only thing they do is say thank you have a good night or did you scan that item? Self-checkout lanes are awesome but they suck at the same time cuz I feel like all I'm doing is saving the business more money making profit off of my labor, lol
