    Incredible mortgage/loan company. I had a great experience the first time around and I am hoping to have my second experience soon. I am a veteran that was getting a VA loan. I was rebuilding my credit and not just wanted too, but needed too, get into a house. I was not getting anywhere or my credit was not high enough to get approved for just about anything in my area. Then Carrington stepped in. Needless to say, within a month I was moving into a new home. They took care of me. They have been fantastic and I look forward to using them again.     Loan Officer Brian Bradford is a gem! He was diligent in finding me the best loan possible. I am very happy. He was patient and had a delightful positive attitude throughout the whole process, which he handled from start to finish. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. Carrington has a gem in him as an employee. I can't remember the last time I made a special point of complimenting an employee, but I felt his service deserved it. Nowadays good service is rare.

    Seriously the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Our mortgage was sold to CMS, and from day one it was horrible. If you're 30 days late once, they'll send a certified letter of intent to foreclose. They act like they're bottom barrel debt collectors. I also had storm damage, and the hoops I had to jump through to get them to release the funds for the work to begin on repairs we're ridiculous. Pray that your loan never gets transferred to Carrington.

    David Richman was our loan officer, he was the best to work with he had all the answers and was very responsive when we reached out to him with questions and directions. we would definitely like to work with him in the future should we have the need and we will absolutely drop his name for any friends or family that are looking to purchase or refinance. thank you again for making our dream home become a reality!!

    We’ve done two mortgages with Dean Mattick, and he was great both times. Got a great rate and everything was done in just over thirty days. They even waived the appraisal requirement for our refi. No problems with Carrington ever.

    We have been customers at Carrington for a few years for our Mortgage. Never had any issues with payments or anything else. We decided to refinance with them for a lower interest rate after speaking with a loan officer. The process went fairly quickly, approximately a month. We did appreciate that the loan officer (James Jenkins) was available to answer any and all questions via email or phone. However, there were some "snafus" along the way. We were informed late that we were not supposed to pay our mortgage while the refinance was processing. We had already paid half for the month. Neither I nor any of our family or friends have heard of that for a refinance. It's usually the 2 months after the loan that you have no payment...So we ended up only have 1.5 months with no mortgage payment. Fast forward to closing. We didn't realize that the numbers quoted for our debt were inaccurate so when we wanted to close so we did not receive as much cash out as we had requested (since more had to go to debt and also another $1700 went to escrow for property taxes which were already paid for the month). Would we use them again for refinance? Not sure honestly.

    I had my original loan with Carrington and they made the process easy in 2017. I got messages to refinance in February and Scott Sorenson once again made the process easy and I think he's knowledgeable and courteous. You can't loose with Carrington

    My mortgage was sold from Chase to Carrington. From day one it has been a nightmare. I have made my escrow payment 2 different times and it is still going directly to my monthly mortgage payment. Have talked to so many different people and still nothing. They charge enormous fees for making payments even if you use the on line payments. They lie about getting back to you. They lie about how much you owe. I have a fha loan with a fixed interest rate of 4.3% but somehow after they took over my loan it went up to 5%. If you have the misfortune of your loan being bought by them you are better to sell or refinance because soon or later they will steal your house right out from under you. I was with chase for 11 years and was never late on one payment, made or received escrow payment with zero issues and now I can not even make an escrowor monthly payment without an issue. I am driving over 5 hours round trip to an in person location Monday and will not leave till they show me proof my escrow payment is made and applied and my mortgage is again current. I also want proof of where all the payments I have made starting from the beginning of their handling of my loan have gone. They have only had my mortgage starting 12/14/2020 and it is now 3/28/2021. My monthly mortgage payment is 692.71 and I have paid that as well as 3296.22. Totally worst company ever. Employees are rude and basically just transfer you from person to person. Even the supervisors are a total waste of skin. I

    This team was awesome to work with! I re-fied my existing Carrington mortgage with the Westfield Indiana branch.     Just closed on a new home with Carrington Mortgage and the process was easy, technology above par and MLO/processor/closer completed their tasks accurately and in a timely manner. Interest rate was lowest I could find, approval was quick, closing documents were accurate. Great experience, indeed!

    My Mortgage was sold to Carrington Mortgage this year. I have had issues with them to this date. They aren't applying my mortgage payments to my account correctly; making it appear that I am late (one month late/behind). I have spoken to them twice and can produce my notifications of payments each month. I have never had this problem with any other mortgage companies since I had my mortgage for 18 years. I need some suggestions, there error better not go on my credit report because of their mistakes. Then one of there representative I spoke today, had the nerve to be rude to me about my concerns. It shouldn't take over one month to get my account accurate/correct.

    I can not wait til I refinance with another Lender! While I closed on my house in November of last year, the whole process was and is a nightmare! First my loan officer Bill Mellinger chastised me by question the purchase price on my home. Then after I had to be proactive with sending all my documents in, did not speak a word to me until 2 weeks left to close on my home. I was never assigned a loan processor until then and my loan fell out of processing at that time. Then they kept asking for documents they already had. Finally my realtor had to get involved to get the process rolling. Finally we closed a two weeks later. Then the could not get my escrow correct. After that I was charged on my new loan items from my old loan that was transferred to them from Chase. I had to call the VA in regards to my loan and how I was being overcharged. I actually got a VA personnel to correct them and end up having to have them credit my account on my new loan due to the overcharge. I will never ever use them again! I am sad that I had to give them even one star!

    After our home purchases being derailed by a nightmare situation with another lender, we called Brian on July 6, admittedly panicked. Not only did he take the time to listen to listen to our entire position, he claimed our fears and assured he was certain Carrington could complete our loan properly. He fielded SO MANY calls and emails from us, always with the patience and reassurance. His knowledge of the entire process put any hesitation to rest. In less than 30 days Brian and Linda Williams has is cleared to close and today we closed on our new family home. None of this would be been possible without Brian and your amazing team.     My Carrington Mortgage refinance was a great experience. The staff I worked with were professional, supportive, communicative, and considerate of my needs. Everything they told me in the beginning of the process was the same throughout and at the end of the closure of the loan. the interest rate was excellent and closing costs were reasonable.     In regard to the assistance Zane Arthur gave me, I must say his actions/efforts were professional and polite. He took my concern serious and respected my feelings. He offered information that would help me advance in my efforts to satisfy my reason for the initial call. He gave me directions on how to address some negatives that needed to be corrected.     Update. We are now four months into this and nothing has changed. The underwriters they use will drag it out. It's beyond frustrating! Huge waste of time and money. The underwriters will ask for every piece of paper they can. After three months of waiting to close we have still nothing. Our seller has asked us to go with a different mortgage company that is more familiar with them process. I've submitted a complaint prior and nothing has changed. Be sure to Check BBB customer reviews for other opinions.

    Jason Green is definitely customer service oriented. Closing on a house before interest rates go up can be a stressful process. Jason was able to schedule all necessary documents to be signed and returned by me in time. Also, the notary company was scheduled so everything came together smoothly. GREAT JOB!
