Go elsewhere! Wouldn’t approve me for a $25k loan even though I had $15k down. 760 score. Was referred here by a friend, turns out it was a huge waste of time. The loan officer wasn’t even polite, I got a loan through my credit union for under 3% in an hour. Just saying

Late on a Saturday they worked hard to help me secure a car loan. They're real people. Not some huge, numb, mindless bank that just looks at numbers...they look at the person. I just signed up as a new member and look forward to doing business with them for many years to come. I prefer banking with people and not some computer! Thanks CFCU!

Never been more disrespected. Bank manager pulled a tryant move saying basically nothing I can do. Never thought after 9 years I'd need to find a new bank. I'm not claiming innocence. I have a traumatic brain injury and ptsd with manic episodes. I felt like I was being insulted. After further thought I feel it was a miscommunication. Tempers on both sides got the best of us. I just got frustrated because I couldnt explain wa hat I was trying to say. They are not trained to deal with people like me or how to as approach people like me. I feel lost. The thought of switching banks depresses me. Maybe things was will work out. If not I'll keep m th va benefits going t ok them to honor as paying my loan but I'll do the bulk of my business at a different bank. Hopefully we can come together as adults and come to a common ground. The accounts closed miss donna. I was trying to tell you they s and I'd I had to reopen it with eddie bauer to get it resolved. Also I didmt mean you worked with the debit collectors. I was trying to sh you helped me against those debt collectors. When I disputed it they charged it off. I misspoke and missed some words that would have clarified that. You told me I could get th ed m and o go down in it most the time. Instead they wrote it off befor ees the dispute was settled. They did say eddie bauer may settle for was hat I actually owe with us like 200 dollars. I apologize for my behavior and if we can work it out t ok where I dont have to switch banks I'd love to do so. I just w acc noted to consolidated some of cons cause I need my credit score to 660 to get the full 478k va home lone. Hopefully tally read this. If not I wasted my time

I love my credit union! They offer all types of accounts and loans in addition to the "perks" available to members. I have been banking at Carolina Federal Credit Union for more than a year now, and every single person I have come into contact with in person, by telephone or by email has been very friendly, professional, helpful, courteous and down to earth. They are "real" people who actually smile and treat me like a person. Their kindness, respect and willingness to help means so much to me.....especially after experiencing the condescending attitudes at my last bank. I moved my accounts right down the street to Carolina Federal Credit Union, and I have never looked back! Thank you Carolina Federal. I am a loyal customer for life!

The staff goes over and beyond to help in any way possible. They are helpful and treat everyone the same; whether your a new client or current banker with them. They also have fantastic opportunities for loans when you have direct deposit from your job.

Their website is god awful. I find it hard to use and don't get much help over the phone either. It's also annoying that there is a $10 convenience fee to make your car payment ON THEIR WEBSITE. I understand why you would do this making a payment over the phone but there is no reason to have a convenience fee using the website.

We also have several alternative ways to pay to keep our members from having to pay a $10.00 convenience fee. You may set up an automatic draft from your bank/credit union account (Monthly, Bi-Weekly, and Weekly draft available), transfer funds from your CFCU checking or savings account to your loan, send partial direct deposits from your employer, you may mail/drop off a check, we also have a night box you may place your payment in, and we also have online bill payments available through online banking. If you would like to set up one of these options to avoid paying the $10.00 convenience fee, we will be happy to set that up for you!
