I love Carhops and would recommend anyone to go here. Kirsten Grant was amazing! I told her what I needed and am in love with my new 2009 Ford Escape!!! We went in and paid 0 down and got low payments! My new car is exactly what I wanted and needed. I have never purchased a car that was so easy to get into. The whole process took 4 hours that is with our 2 hour test drive. They let us test drive our car to our house. Also has a couple of minor issues that have to be fixed at the shop. WARNING BUYER BEWARE The car they sold me had issues from day two. So many that it feels like they bought this car at auction and only cleared the codes so engine lights were not on during the test, no repair or maintenance was done by them at all. Even the engine oil was black. Now they are denying work that I feel should be covered under warranty leaving me with huge repair bills for a car I just got into. And to add insult to injury I've been having to borrow a car while my car sits and waits for their warranty department to finally communicate back to the shop resulting in at least 3 solid weeks of my car I just got just sitting waiting for carhop to accept or deny repairs. It's like I don't even have a car and I'm worse off for having ever chosen car hop.

Kyrsten was able to get me in and out in no time!! I will be recommending CarHop to friends and family. I can really tell that they strive for their customers happiness. Love the environment ❤️

Carhop is the best I've seen . I recently had flood damage to my engine, which I still had about 2700 lefted to pay for my car. The engine was gone. Carhop staff and branch managers from two locations reach out to me to get me into a newer car and helped me out so much.. I can't thank Oliver and Tina and rest enough for making my day on 1/20/22. We purchased a 2004 Nissan Xterra on September 20th 2019. It ran great when we took off the lot. I did notice that there was a lot of emphasis put on the fact they would not cover a brake job by Charles, the salesman who sold us the vehicle. On October 1st, we noticed the brakes were barely working and there was a deep grinding sound coming from them. We took the vehicle into several places to get an estimate on the repairs. It turned out that both calipers were seized on the front brakes and the rotors were worn down so deeply they needed to be totally replaced. This was an issue that was present when we purchased it but antisqueak compound had been applied to the rotors to stop the noise long enough for someone to purchase it. We went to Bitterlings, Nissan of Tacoma and Christain auto for the quotes. We ended up getting it done at Bitterling's at a cost of $853 out of pocket. Nissan of Tacoma and Bitterling's also noted the vehicle had massive oil leaks from nearly every gasket in the motor. At this point we were upset but thought that was the last of our problems. The week of October 14th, our vehicle began to stall and started to make a terrible rattling noise. We took it into Christain's automotive who said we needed a new timing belt and waterpump on October 18th. Carhop said they'd pay for it. It was supposed to be done on Saturday, October 19th. Instead we get a phone call from Christain saying the whole motor need replaced. This seemed like an exaggeration but he said Carhop would pay for it. I did research they were replacing my engine with one from a Pick and Pull style wrecking yard called R&H wrecking. Not a rebuilt motor but a motor that probably had more miles on it than the orignal motor. Our vehicle was supposed to be done on Halloween, but then we get a call saying the "new" motor was not good and coolant was spewing all over the place. They would reorder another motor from the wrecking yard.They gave us a new eta of November 7th. November 7th rolls around and Christain still doesn't have the motor plus he says that the radiator is now punctured and we will have to give him $265 to replaced it, even though it was punctured in his shop, on his clock. We still don't have our vehicle and I am still making my $96 payments weekly. The good thing is that when this started, they apparently started reporting to the credit bureaus right away, so my husband and I credit has jumped nearly 100 points in the last couple weeks. I am bleeding out money getting to work everyday because I work where there is no bus service and we have 3 young children. I suppose they were expecting me to default on the loan, they would get their fixed vehicle back, paid for in my fixes I paid for, the $500 down I put on it and the $800 I have paid in it for using for 3 weeks. They would not have a loss but I would be without a vehicle, my credit ruined and most likely without a job and possibly homeless due to losing the job. A caveat: save your money and buy a vehicle from either a private seller or another dealer that offers in house financing, like Curbside Motors. If you can't afford a $400 a month payment plus expensive repairs out of pocket and alternative transportation because your vehicle is in the shop, don't go to Carhop. You see all the positive reviews because the salespeople will pressure you into writing one rught away after you sign the paperwork. Don't learn the hard way. Also beware of the forced arbitration agreement you will sign when signing your loan documents. What this means is that you cannot seek legal damage or file a civil complaint against Carhop if they do this to you.

Heard working good people. Worked out many options with multiple needs. Assisted me over the phone and in person. Stayed late 2 days to help me get into what I needed most. Kyrsten was amazing, I had a few obstacles to get around and she worked with me to get me the van I needed. When I was originally only able to get another car, she figured out how to get me yhe van I needed, woth having 4 kids. Great people here, I highly recommend going here. I got the 03 Ford Windstar.

Charles was absolutely amazing! He was really helpful and made the process really comfortable. I was in and out within a few hours. Charles got me in a new car... a couple months later the engine went out was replaced after waiting a month with no car two weeks later that engine also went out another month later I got my car back and the transmission went out dropped it off to get fixed while I went on vacation came back to find they had not approved the car getting fixed but offered to put me in a new car sounds great..... except I got there and found after going back and forth 3 times that they were not going to just stick me in a new vehicle but they tried to charge me 3000 dollars for the old car on top of the replacement vehicle and increase my monthly payment. Still don't have a working vehicle thanks car hop 😒

My experience with CarHop has always been good. This is my third car through them. The first two time my salesperson was Marvino and he was great. Yesterday I had Ashlee and she was very professional and listened tentatively to what my needs were. I left very pleased with my purchase. My payment is a little higher then I wanted but I'll manage. This is my 2nd car with carhop, first time at this location, and I’ve had way better experience. Do not go to this location, within the first month, my transmission went out while I was driving and my tie rods where in bad shape. Don’t get me wrong they fix the transmission but I paid to fix my tie rods. The recommended mechanic said I should not drive the car unless it’s fixed and the manager is saying get another opinion and don’t fix it now. Save yourself the stress smh and go to another carhop. They don’t take care of they cars smh

I would never purchase another vehicle from this company. Whoever thinking about coming here I would turn around and do not give them your money. They only do in-house finance which it does not help build credit. The warranty on the vehicles are not fair or even worth itThis is the worst company to get a car from they don't value their warranty at all,they over charge customers on the financial portion of getting a vehicle,the killer part the company has their own bank that they finance through which you will get approved everytime Because they own it an it does not help build credit but let you miss one payment an it will destroy your credit,bunch of liars inside the company plus they don't value trade INS. I bought a car from Charles Marsh today at CarHop. He was friendly, helpful, and was able to help multiple people without ignoring anyone. He really seems ready to do what he can to get you into a vehicle, regardless of your situation.

DO NOT GO THROUGH THESE PEOPLE! I have been without a car for 2 months now, still making every payment. it had a cylinder 5 and 6 misfire so I took it to their shop it came back 3 weeks later "fixed" only to drive it for a week and cylinder 4 misfire hit. Called and complained one lady told me I could take it to a different shop. So I did. After another 3 weeks waiting finally called them and was like what the heck... They then told me oh no you have to take it back to the original shop that did the new engine so they can try to fix their mistake .. I live in Olympia. So that's about an hour drive each time dealing with this I have kids that have missed appointments because of this and when asking them how they are going to make this right for us all they say is oh well let's get it in the shop and get this fixed. I regret going through these people and I will tell everyone I know not to. Oh and lastly not to mention when my car came back from the first shop which was Christan and sons it has way more problems then it did going there it now has leaks everywhere and they didn't connect the vacuum hoses back on right either and now are arguing with me that there's even a new issue with their "new" engine.

I was able to attain my very first vehicle thanks to the wonderful work of Vino. He assisted me at the auburn location and when things didn’t workout for me, he persisted in helping me get my first car. I came back to the Lakewood location about a couple months later like he instructed and was able to walk out of the building with my own car! I am more than satisfied with my vehicle and Vino’s work. His work ethic is incredible as he dealt with multiple customers on a rolling basis throughout the day, as well as at the Auburn location. I truly believe he has the customer’s best interest at heart. Highly recomendable working with Vino if visiting this location!

Knowing what I was getting into I appreciate the fact that they provided friendly and expedient service and even with obvious limitations they worked with me to get me in a car and were completely transparent on how they work their deals. Charles Marsh handled my deal and he was great at listening to my needs and addressing them within the limitations provided by my finances and credit score. If you're looking for an easy way to get a car when your credit isn't fabulous just do your research and you'll find that this place is a good route to take. Also they'll report monthly to your credit report which will boost your credit score quickly allowing you to make better purchases in the future.

Wish I could give them zero stars. Lost my job due to covid, when I informed them I'd have to make a late payment they disabled my car preventing me from even finding a new job. Not to mention when I've called them and emailed them about the subject they have been more than rude and incompetent. Having so much attitude and ignorance in her voice along with asking questions that are none of her business trying to humiliate you almost. Do not go here!

It's a used car dealer, so beggers can't be choosers when it comes down to needing a car really bad. But in the end I drove off the lot in a car with that I'm completely happy with. Charles is rude, when I called to talk to veto Charles answered and told me he was on the other line. When he found out I didn't want his help he hung up on me, it was very rude. So I went looking for my first car at Carhop who deals with bad or no credit (which means me), and during my visit I was treated respectably and decently and even allowed to try out another car when I wasn't sure about my first one. Vino was patient and really nice, I would recommend that if you need a car to come find Vino and tell him Charles sent you.

I am going to change my review as I will speak truth. So I bought my 2005 Kia Rio back in July 2019. I been having back to back to back problems with it since I bought it because I feel that carhop is not keeping up wit maintenance with their cars. I basically was given one option for a car instead of the two options I was given a day before(no thanks to the manager and Charles). Two weeks after I bought it, it started to trip out and I was told tune ups are not part of the warranty. Why would you sell me a car that has a lot of mechanical problems in the first place? And y'all sold it to me for x10 the actual price on Kelly Blue Book. They are crooks. Luckily this car is to just build my credit. Dont buy from them. Luckily, too, I know people who can fix cars. Last month we went in to get a second vehicle after several places telling us no we can’t help you and Derrick was able to get us into a car despite our credit, 2 weeks later our clutch went out and we weren’t going to be able to afford to live, make the car payment and repair it so we were going to turn the vehicle back over to them luckily they were able to work something out for us so we could keep the vehicle and get it fixed. So overall we had more then a 5 star experience with both the salesman and the finance team. Thank you so much I would strongly recommend them to anyone and will go back and trade up in a year or so.

Extremely helpful and efficient. They found me the vehicle that worked best for my son and I as well with low payments. The stress of getting to and from work was relieved. I think the best part is that the staff is filled with genuine good people they even gave me a recommendation to a good book store and local authors. I bought a kia Sorento 2011 from car hop in Tacoma October 2,2021 they knew when they sold me the car it had problems they promised me that what ever was wrong with it would be replaced all i had to do was take it in to one of their mechanics so i took it in and was told everything was fine and all they had to do was replace some fusses but other then that it was good to go but when i got it back it still wasn't acting right i called them many time to tell them it had problems i went to take it back in to the auto shop February 11, 2022 and it cought on fire while i was driving it melted the brakes and i almost couldn't stop i barely made it out on time i couldn't even imagine if my kids were with me or if something were to have happened to my unborn child. i definitely wouldn't recommend buying a car from them they are not safe and they are liars

The service was quick for me to get approved and drive off the lot the same day. But I starting noticing issues the very next day… had to pay $520 for a tune up and a mechanic found a leakage and said that a mice may have chew threw and that part would cost me another $300+ to get replaced. I understand that yes this is used vehicle dealership but I was not expecting to put down $2500 and spend another $700+ the engine makes a very loud noise that is unpleasant that didn’t occur during the test drive.

CarHop Tacoma has thee worst customer service. I purchased a car April 2nd. Today it is June 7th and my vehicle had been in the shop for the last two weeks. The vehicle needed a whole new engine. I have called them with several concerns until the car finally died. I haven't able to go to work for two weeks, I have other expenses that were incurred (aside from what the warranty covers and a deductible. I asked for some grace with my next payment and they said no. Go somewhere else!!!! Anywhere else!!!

I went in looking for a specific type of car. Kyrsten, helped put me in the car that fits my needs. They were able to get me approved and driving on the road that very day.

I was treated with respect and curiosity when getting my 3rd vehicle from them. They have taken care of my youngest daughter in getting her 1st vehicle also.

This will be my second car with them and when I went to get my new car from them I was told that I was approved for any car I was never late on any payment never used a skip a payment and when I told them what car I was looking at I was told I was not approved for that or I had to put 1000,down and they car I was going to get did not shift so I went to Seattle to get a car from them I like the car I ended up with but I really wanted the Honda pilot I have a good job I have been at for over 11 years I was made to feel like a 2nd class citizen . My mom and son both got cars from you . And my mom won’t be returning because of the way I was treated and she also is on her 2nd car with you and she also has never missed a payment.

I went in here a week ago and was so uncomfortable by the sales person I left. But, came back on Saturday to deal with the one and only Mr. DEREK! I give him props he had several customers and treated each of us as of we've know each other forever. Being in the car industry just as well I know it can crazy at a moments notice. But, never did I feel pressured but instead had jokes and laughs with him (12mins) lol.. he took the time to listen to exactly what i wanted in a vehicle the one he brought me exactly the vehicle I wanted make and model! I even had a small issue that Derek took care of right away no questions asked. I value Dereks customer service skills and the opportunity to work with such a great person with a huge personality! If i could i would give a zero!!! Super rushed on a few cars my credit allowed me to look at But i got a car with zero down true! Transmission went out and yes they did replace it. Dont know what they bought to replace it.(thanks Christians auto)But macanic put it in and it was leaking had to take it back. As well brakes needed replaced.. ? Same thing was done the fixed it but had to take it back because my calipper bolt flew off (thanks terry at minekie on south tacoma way) but all in all if you need a car and dont care about the B.S. to go through then car hop is ok i guess the funance team has no customer service they just care about them and whats owed fake love at this place

Charles was such a blessing. I came in very doubtful and came out very happy!!!. Charles went to bat for us and put us in something we wasn't expecting. He was very straightforward and down to business. He put us in a Nissan murano, very nice. ***update*** I'm so dissatisfied and disappointed in the used car sales today! After i post this, 6 months later i was almost killed in that car because the transmission failed and i was on my way to work that night. Problems came down like dominoes! Engine problems, sensors, and the list goes on. My husband and i asked if there were any mechanical problems with the car and if so, we can haggle the price; he said there was nothing wrong because they do a 17 point check. But everything was glued together so we could test drive it. LIE, LIE, AND MORE LIES. So we called them to pick it up. I had to drive all the way to Fresno, CA to get a decent car and i have had it for 2.5 years with no problems! And this is a 2017USED CAR!!! How about them apples!!

I spoke with charles and he was nice and welcoming but when i ended up stopping by to look at cars no one was wanting to help me and the other staff were very rude. I walked in and said hi to try to get someones attention so i could ask about the cars and all the employees refused to even talk to me. I cant say much about the actual vehicles because i didn't even get the chance to ask a question. I was willing to give them a chance on me buying a car from them but couldn't even get anyone to so much as look at me while i was there.

This past few weeks have been so stressful. Low credit and denial after denial after denial. Super quick, Maybe Vino just talks fast but he didn't let me leave without a car. He went over everything with me and was very helpful and kind, I wanted a jeep and he got me in a jeep. Its the "rate me 5 stars before you leave" for me. The fact that my friend was forced to rate mf CHARLES 5 stars before he left is and should be a red flag for everyone. My friend's car was fine until 2 months later, a lot of problems (not exaggerating.. A LOT of problems) 1 example being his engine being infested with random bugs. Literally smacked 2 spiders off his babys car seat when he offered me a ride to work. All in all, you want a car? DO NOT COME HERE. Don't believe me? Search up CarHop's reviews on other websites maybe even facebook. CarHop should be burnt to the ground tbh. (This review will probably be deleted like all the other honest reviews)

Great experience and great people work here, Charles really did help me out even when I didnt have a down payment, and he got me a really great 04 chevy impala, and with the cheaper payments I saved a lot. I needed a car desperately, because my previous car broke down the day before and would no longer startup. Vino really pushed to get me approved and got me in and out within a few hours. Definitely a great place to go if you're really in a bind. UPDATE: The car I got previously from here was totalled. And after my insurance settled the claim, there was still a balance of a few thousand dollars. Vino worked with me yet again to get me approved and on the road in a couple hours. Charles was a great salesman. Very personable, helped us get a great car for a great price! Edit: I wouldnt recommend coming to this place. Lol. They charge you outrageous prices. For instance I got a 2007 ford focus for $15,000. Definitely not a great price but really needed a car at the time. I looked this place up and they had great reviews. The only reason why though is because they literally ask you to do it right before you leave the office. Just thought i had to share. Nice people i guess, but be prepared to get overcharged in prices.
