I had a positive experience with Car Hop. Melvin the manager is respectful and provides great customer service. He and Toby were informative and realistic about my options. I’ve been driving my car for about a month and I love it. I did my diagnostics check and all the major stuff was in order, no problems. All thanks for getting my car possible.

We had a good experience at this location with Toby and Melvin, they were very patient and helpful and even stayed past closing just to help us and made sure we got the car we wanted and checked our car before we drove off the lot. I really appreciate their service and would definitely recommend. Ask for Melvin and/or Toby you won’t be disappointed!

As of right now I am very unsatisfied customer. I have been told for three weeks I was going to get the tires put on my car. The shop they use doesn't communicate well the management at car doesn't communicate at all unless your the one calling. They told me that I would have the new engine before the new year and that is not happening. Who knows when they actually will keep there warranty true. All I know is if you need a car this is not the place to go to. Now i call to make a payment and they are changing dates of when my car note is due.

Unsatisfied !! I drop my car but no one help me but they just go straight to report as if I denied any payment !! The agreement was between two people but they just report on my credit but that’s not what we agreed when I drop off the vehicle !! If you want to buy a car don’t use this !! Poor management

I thought this was the one for me but they were such a hassle throwing me around pulling me around then when I looked at some of the vehicles they were so old only one had a screen and the rest you had cassette tapes and CD players didn't get the test drive one but was ready to run I don't know if they have a cheap one I may use just for working home

Dealer white was amazing in helping me get my car I couldn’t walk out with it day one due to some fund issues but he never gave up on me and gave me every possible option to get the best car for me and exactly what I needed. He told me to come back next week and I would walk out with a car and that’s exactly what happened. He cares and will go to bat for you as long as your real about your situation💯🤞🙏

Melvin did a great job in 100° heat! I came there needing a certain kind of car with a certain level of payment and I got exactly that with an interest rate better than I was expecting. He and his teammate make customers comfortable and feel that they care about us.

My experience here was definitely better than what I expected. I came in not having too much knowledge on what kind of car was best suited for me. After talking to Stephanie, she was able to give me great information on everything I needed to know. This place could get very busy, but I appreciated how attentive they remained and were able to explain everything I needed to know very well. I’m very glad I came here, and didn’t go somewhere else. Well first of all the Application was really easy to fill out then a few questions after that most of the whating is getting approved it's well worth the wait i promise it's that easy

Update, In 2020 I purchased a vehicle from Carhop. The sales women I dealt were not trustworthy and tricky. Stay clear from Aurora Dealership.

I absolutely loathe car shopping, but a family friend referred me here to see a young lady named Stephanie while I was in town. She made the experience very pleasant and was actually extremely sweet. Most dealerships (in my experiences) are full of shady men just trying to push sales, but I felt like that girl actually cared about my needs and concerns. If you're looking for a car, I highly recommend you see Stephanie at this location.

CarHop preys on low income individuals looking to purchase a car. Within 5 months of financing a vehicle from them, my father had to pay over $1100 in repairs. Very nice when they're trying to sell you an overpriced lemon of a car, but miss a payment and they get disrespectful as ever. Please invest your money elsewhere, do not give these people your hard earned funds.

Great experience all around. I went to check options of a trade up and ended up leaving with a new car! Chase was outstanding, as he guide me thru the process for a second time. ALL of the staff was knowledgeable, I had several questions and they didn't hesitate to help in moments Chase stepped away. The process was very quick went in at 10 was out by 1. I was very hesitant to go and submit my paper work. Because so many places promise financing they cant get approved. Car hop got me in a car the same day I applied with zero down. They even repaired the crack in the windshield and gave me a new/rebuilt transmission. I am very grateful to the two man team of Tobi and Melvin. If you need a car. GO SEE THESE GUYS. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE. You are better off buying from a private party. Have had nothing but issues since the day I got home with the car. They have been giving me the run around about fixing or replacing the car. I wasn’t expecting a perfect car but it’s practically a death trap. They are overpriced P.O.S. cars, if you buy one expect to pay the amount you bought it for in repairs to even make it run. I wish I never did business with these people.

Chase was amazing! I went in never having bought a car from a car place before, I have bad credit due and wasn't sure I would qualify for anything. I was also super anxious and nervous but Chase put me at ease with his friendly personality and casual attitude. He helped me get the perfect car and explained things very well! I ended up not being able to get the car the first day because the banks closed early but Chase was very understanding and helped me figure things out. I got the car in the morning with no trouble and I'm super happy with it! Thank you Chase!!! Couldn't add a second review so I hope y'll see this addition. I traded in my old car for a new one tonight, the branch manager, Melvin, was amazing. Melvin really helped the transition to a new car go smoothly; he was very transparent about everything, answered all my questions, and was very understanding when I was being indecisive. I really appreciate him going out of his was to show me multiple cars and explaining the pros and cons of each car. Melvin even stayed an hour after the listed closing time to help finish my transaction which is just going above and beyond the already great customer service. I cannot say enough good things, thank you guys once again for getting me into a great car!

The Aurora center is amazing!!! Toby Rowe was very helpful. The store had many people in as well as phones were off the hook and Toby did an amazing job with getting through everything efficiently. Thank you guys for getting me out of a sticky situation.

Stephanie and Melvin are very pleasant to talk to. However, my car experience has been a nightmare. Engine had to be replaced within a month, and it took three weeks to get that done, so I lost my job. No loaner. Under the warranty, you don't get a new engine or even a reconditioned engine. You get an untested junkyard engine. You don't even get a tuneup of it or new hoses or connections. And four days after the engine is replaced, it breaks down again. Brakes had to be replaced within a month. Temporary tags expired a month ago and my permanent tags have not been received, and calls to me promised but never made. They still call you if your payment is late, though! Definitely have the car THOROUGHLY inspected before buying so they don't pass a lemon on to you. This place is definitely BUYER BEWARE.

I went in today to see if I could find something newer, even though I had bad credit. Stephanie went above and beyond with showing me a few options until I found something nice! I would highly recommend working with her. She’s amazing!!

I would like to start by saying that car hop is absolutely amazing at getting you approved with credit difficulties. I have horrible credit and I was able to get into a car the same day, within maybe an hour of being there. That was excellent. I bought an 07’ vehicle aware that used cars could have issues however, within 60 days my vehicle broke down. I was told to take it to their auto repair shop- I was satisfied with car hop covering the labor costs but I had to pay for the vehicle parts since this was out of warranty. NOT even 40 days later, my car has started to have the same exact issue that was just repaired on and I fear will end up breaking down completely just like the time before. Clearly this wasn’t repaired correctly & I am very frustrated that a little over a month later experiencing a lost of transportation again. Being an MS patient and relying on transportation this experience has been extremely disappointing. All I wanted was a reliable car and I was very hopeful due to my initial encounter that this would be a good experience, unfortunately i’m just not sure what is going to happen now. I would suggest 100% taking the 7 days to take the vehicle to your personal mechanic because I would hate for anyone to have the experience I am going through.

No stars for Car Hop. I was given info. About this place by a co-worker, who’s Daughter’s Boyfriend had gotten a car from there. I mentioned this place to a Family member, before I learned that my co-worker’s Daughter’s Boyfriend had major car problems and received terrible service from Car Hop. My Family Member was sold a lemon, the transmission was out before a month was up. Almost a month in the shop for repairs. The customer service is terrible, they are totally rude. I was at a party and Car Hop was the conversation, so many people had a story to tell about how someone in their Family or someone they knew had a horrible experience with Car Hop. This place needs to be shut down. People need to unite to see that this happens. They are literally robbing people.

Stephanie was excellent to work with. She was able to get me into a car that I love, despite my credit difficulties. The process was a little longer than expected but that is because she was there all alone, overall my experience was very satisfying! I would definitely recommend CarHop to any of my friends or family in need of a car.

This was the most discouraging experience ever. I was pretty much told that because I'm in a lower tax bracket, I'm not able to be selective of the car I want. The cars are on the high end of Kelly Blue Book, despite the unknown mechanical. Asked for carfax, was unable to see it. Wanted to go to the Auburn location and was told they could bring a a car up from there. Even after explaining my situation about not wanting to wait around, they told me it was okay they'd drive it up. Then it was my responsibility to drive the car up??? An extra 2 hours. The car I was looking at in Auburn ended up having issues so I didn't want it, when I asked for my paystub back so I could go else where, I was informed by the Seattle branch manager that they shredded it. Shredded my paystu? That I need for other financial reasons and for my own files... okay????? Thanks a lot for that! The branch manager yelled at me for not committing to the car from the other lot. They started out friendly, but I felt it wasn't up front. They were scripted and just trying to sell me a car. This place is a joke.

The car I received ended up being a lemon. Had to recalls on it before they even sold it to me. Legally they were supposed to have these things fixed before I received the car. Spent way too much money on repairs at the end of the day I just gave the car back and bought myself for Yukon.. make sure you get your car checked out.
