Capitol Federal® Savings Bank Nieman Rd, Shawnee

I like this bank, but am upset because if I want/need to get more than $500.00 out of the bank in a day, I have to drive all the way to a main branch, which is way out of the way for me. I found out today (Saturday) that they are only open to noon. This is a major problem for me, because now I will have to take off time from work to take care of something I could have done this Weekend. 08/22/20, While I appreciate the fact you responded, your response avoided the central issue. I needed cash for a purchase that was over the $500.00 atm limit per day. I know that limit is there for a reason, the fact that you are closing at noon was the central issue. Why noon on a Saturday? It is really the only day I can get some things done. Ahh Covid. 06/24/22, I will say this. Yes I have had a problem or two over the years, but they have always done a great job of fixing any problems I have had. I have had an offer or two by other banks to try their bank. One thing I know is when you find a good bank, stick with them. This is a good bank.

I bank at the Shawnee locations, on Nieman and Target. I have never had a negative experience with anyone at these locations. They are always polite, friendly yet professional and so helpful. Several years ago my mother was in a very dangerous situation and had it not been for the kindness and intuitiveness of your employees at the Nieman location, things could have gone very badly. Thank you for being so wonderful!!

I've never had good luck at the branch on Nieman but I thought I would give it another chance. Wish I had gone to the one in Mission on Johnson Drive. Poor Jill seems to be the only one that works there. The manager and an employee named Peter should be ashamed of themselves. Went in there to get a loan and they stared at me. Peter came over and acted annoyed that he had to help me and was looking for any reason not to work. I know a lot of people make themselves look busy and their not working but these two weren't busy and were too lazy to even act busy. Going to One Main...

If you like your banking experience to be EXTREMELY time consuming and messed up then you will really enjoy banking at the Shawnee Branch of Capital Federal! Over an hour to do a simple transfer but the employee couldn't do it. Had to come back AGAIN the next day for the manager to finish it. A simple "sorry for the extra time you have had to spend" (and she knew beforehand the employee was not very familiar which was terrible to leave me with her) would have been nice and may have mitigated this bad review but I got nothing.

I am a customer and have been for years. They offer me no customer service once they receive my money. They treat me like they don't know me and could care less about ANYTHING I need. Would not recommend them to anyone.

Tried to go in and deposit rolled coins but they don't accept them. I heard an elderly couple complaining to the manager that the coin machine had just eaten $300 worth of their coins so I was not going to use that. As I was trying to walk out my bag of coins broke and I had my two children with me someone in line helped me pick up the coins then asked the manager if he could find me a bag and he seemed annoyed said no then finally went to find one for me after I just stared at him holding my two children. Finally handed me a bag and then refused to open the door for me as I tried to carry my two children and a bag of coins out the door.
