Bank does not care about anyone, it is that simple. They fire good, dedicated employees some of whom have worked there for DECADES. The higher ups are congratulating themselves and giving themselves raises because of all the money they saved from closing and firing in the masses. It is a large corporate bank they do not care about customers or employees.

YOU ARE RIGHT, KATHY IS SUCH A GEM LIKE BOTH THE CUSTOMER AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SAID!! WHY DID YOU FIRE HER THEN? RIDDLE ME THAT. CAPITAL ONE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR EMPLOYEES OR CUSTOMERS ALIKE. THE BANK FIRED ALL OF THE STAFF OF YEARS HERE, THEY FIRED EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM AND REPLACED THEM WITH IDIOTS WHO DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING. WHY DID YOU FIRE DEDICATED AND LOYAL PEOPLE??

Only can speak to customer service on the phone. I called about a matter and spoke to Kathy and while the branch could not help me, she was very pleasant, accommodating, and helpful. No problems.

Very disappointed in this new branch, no drive-up teller first and foremost. No more small hometown bank where you know the employees and the employees know the customers. It's cold and impersonal. Very disappointed in Capital One in general. Closed so many local, convenient branches, put so many long-time employees out of jobs.

banks are in the goverenment's category of essential services, like grocery stores, gas stations,... How is it they offer only ATM service? What is up with that? Cuomo opened phase 1 in Suffolk county two days ago, yet bank remains closed. I mean really how special are banks that they make up their own rules as they go, don't share risk with the rest of essential services? This hits hardest at poor folk, at elderly, at those without access to electronic banking,... This is just not right. Unfortunately posting without giving at least one star is not possible.

Well I came here to share my experience of this new Capital One bank, and I can see I am not alone. As others have stated, this bank is cold and impersonal. There is not personal touch here whatsoever. The employees look sad, depressed and miserable and I do not blame them one bit. I would be this way to if I work for a company that fires people of 30+ years. Capital One's reason for the change is 'people are changing how they bank' yes, you are right but to an extent. This is true for Manhattan, or other big cities, but we are out in farm country and do not want this type of change. We refuse to embrace this technology and refuse to do all our banking on it. Didn't you have the sense to research the community before you made this change? You simply do not care, you do not care. It's a pity and a shame.

No drive up, how are elderly and disabled people supposed to do their banking? I do not want to do mobile banking nor do I want to bank online, I want to bank like I always used to without having this new modern garbage shoved down my throat. Enough of this modern garbage. The bank simply does not care about it's customers, it is that simple.

The customer service hotline is just as worse as the branch location. Also to consistently fire people without reason in a small town such as Mattituck you can best believe there was a public outcry. Avoid this bank at all costs they do not have any morals.

Miserable, absolutely dreadful bank. Let's see where to start. They have no drive up, so if you have a handicap the bank is saying ' f you ' by making you walk in. How can they expect someone in a wheel chair to walk in? They do not care, they really do not care, it is as simple as that. They close every branch on the east end, fire everyone, but what - they will give you free food and booze, so that makes it fine in their eyes. Last week they had a grand opening that lasted all week with different things each day. They had food, and alcohol among other things. For one, are they even allowed to serve alcohol? They don't have a liquor license so I don't think they are allowed to serve any type of alcohol; so I took it upon myself to report them to the NYS Liquor Authority (NYS is an abbreviation for New York State for you dimwitted fools. They will be hearing from them shortly. But how pathetic is it for a bank to serve liquor and bribe their customers with food? That's Capital One in nutshell. They know their customers hate them and hate this new branch, so they resort to bribing them with food and ILLEGALLY serving them liquor. Let's see what else does this bank do that is immoral, oh thats right they threw an employee outside all week to hold up a stupid ballon. Yep, thats right, they had someone outside to hold up a dumb ballon in frigate and raining weather, because the bank does not care one bit. They think people will be like 'omg capital one has a ballon that says grand opening, I must go inside". It is inhumane for them to throw someone outside everyday, all week for 8+ hours a day. I also reported them to OSHA and the Department of Labor about this, and Andy the rep I spoke with was horrified and said he will personally look into it. ATTENTION CAPITAL ONE CUSTOMER SERVICE: Do not even bother to respond to me with one of your automated replies. It is both insulting and demeaning. I can already picture your reply: "Hey Phill - Thank you for your feedback, we are so sorry you feel this way ..... blah blah blah" So do not even respond, your response is worthless and meaningless to me. Actually, if you do respond please tell me how it is that you can serve liquor to anyone that walks in the door, yeah because I am sure your staff really will ID people to make sure they are of age. So yeah, in your worthless reply, answer this question for me.
