Capital One Bank Richmond Hwy, Alexandria

They seem understaffed. The worst part is the manager. I’m happy to not have needed her help but the way I seen her treat other people - So aggressive and obviously doesn’t want to be there. I hope they switch up their staff soon.

I walked in to open a checking account and to ask for more info about this bank. I was told I can go online and open account. Like I wanted more info and lady that was there didn’t look like she knew much. I should’ve asked but as soon as I told her I want to open a checking account she just says you can open online. The lady didn’t even look happy like usual bank people do. Also at a bank the people at window send you to talk to someone and they give you all the info you need. Like yeah I’ve read online about bank but I’m just one of those people that just want to talk to someone and make sure everything’s good. If someone wasn’t there to help with opening account she could’ve started with that. Well in all today’s experience wasn’t good literally wasn’t in bank not even a minute. Went to Navy Federal much better service and informative people happy to help. Opened my account with them instead.

While I was personally scared to go to this bank based upon the google reviews. I must say from my experience, the service was amazing and performed to perfection. I can't speak for everyone else, but my experience is far from 1-3 stars. I will note, that outside the tellers, it does not seem to staff many employees for other needs. But I do not blame the employees for that issue. Regardless, my experience was perfect and I would recommend the branch for anybody else. The staff were professional, polite, and courteous.

I will select zero star if they have that option for reviewing. Very very bad services even their staffs. How does Capital One Bank have that kind of staffs. The staff made appointment from time to time but in the end they did not have anyone to handle my request.

Omer Maqsood needs to be fired. He’s absolutely incompetent and rude. He refused to service a transaction that has been routinely done for over 5 years; and all the parties involved are customers. This type of customer service is the reason businesses lose clients. This trash of service and person won’t be tolerated. Their service doesn’t match the aesthetics.

I have been a customer since before it became Capital One. It used to be Chevy Chase Bank. I love the no hassle envitonment and quick customer service. I do most of my banking at the ATM but I do not mind going inside when I have to unlike other banks which do not deserve a mention. Highly recommend it.

I went into this branch to complete a transaction that I spent 30 minutes on the phone with CO customer service confirming that I would be able to only to come across 3 bank tellers who refused service to me because I didn’t have a checking account with them even though I had proper ID and other accounts with Credit One. They offered no solution, only refusal. It’s no wonder they have terrible ratings. I will be closing all account with Capital One.

Discriminatory practices. Banks do look at age and race when applying.

Omar gave us the best customer service we could’ve ever imagined. He patiently listened to us and heard all our problems with our account. He was able to us close 2 accounts and open 2 others. He is fantastic, patient and respectful. Thank you so much Omar for all your help. I will definitely recommend this branch and location.

This Capital One Bank does not have any of the services as advertised for being an account holder. I have been to this location twice now in the past month first looking to get a document notarized and then looking for a cashier’s check and was turned away both times as they could not provide either one. I would only recommend this location for taking cash out the ATM. EDIT: This is not a select service center. This is advertised as a full service branch and should have had these services.
