CAP COM Federal Credit Union U, Clifton Park

My daughter have account with this bank since she a toddler and we moved our account from SEFCU to them. For years I been doing deposits toward the branch or online not once did I ever for password security at the branch even when doing large sum deposits because I always give them my id, bank account etc however today I went there to deposit money to my daughter account for which I am part off the account. Gave the lady with the nose ring my account card, and the money. She asked me for security password so I asked her when did that started; she claimed it’s been forever. Weird because that’s the first time I hear about it. I know when you call you required to give but to deposit money to your account at with the branch with all information provided? Seriously? Than she proceeded to have an attitude with me because I questioned her. Customer service been horrible over there at that branch some of those employees think people are beneath them for some reason. Instead of been mean spirited I decided to ignore them but now I have enough. Our family combined have four accounts there. I been with SEFCU for two decades never have issues with them.

I really wish I could give Cap Com in Clifton Park 0/5 stars. The service here is embarrassing. I went into the branch to deposit money and inquire about different investment options as well as student loan payments. I spoke to one gentleman at the counter who was very nice but did not know a thing. He brought over his “manager” who also did not know a thing about what I was asking about. This guy seemed very uninterested in helping me and cut me off every time I began to ask a question. When asking about different investment options I was told to “actually save some real money.” Mind you this guy has no knowledge of my bank account. I’m not sure if I was not being taken seriously because I am in my early twenties, regardless that should not matter. He clearly had no idea what he was talking about and said his manager Brian would give me a call the following week. Well it has been a month and I have not received any calls. I would not recommend this bank to anyone.

These folks are awesome! I’ve been with them for 4 years now, and every single transaction I’ve ever had with them has been positive. Whether in-person, at the drive-through or on the phone, they are unfailingly polite, friendly and helpful. And there are almost never any fees for additional services like cashiers checks or transfers. I only wish I had done this years ago!

Banks treat you like a sale and a customer. This credit union treats you like a valued member of a private club with perks that are only available to you. Best decision I ever made was to leave a big national Bank and become a member here.

I've been a Capcom member over 20 years, sadly the bigger they've gotten the worse the customer service has become. Twenty minutes on hold only to be told there no one there that can help address your questions? Sorry that's unacceptable.

Everyone is so very friendly and helpful!!! I've been a member for over 30 years, so, I guess that tells you something! You can even sometimes, get approved for certain loans, right over the phone! Especially car loans!

Capcom is the best bank I've ever had...had an account with them for 6 years now...and never had an issue ever

If I could give no stars I could ever since the new supposed leader of the company cameover from another failing credit union they have nothing but robbed me stay with a real a financial institution
