Absolute worst experience of my life. I am a first time (attempted) home buyer. I have been working with the company since February. I understand that buying a home is not an easy thing. However I have never been through a bigger battle in my life. I followed every instruction, submitted every document requested (with in 24 hours) and continuously asked what I can do to help or what comes next. My loan officer repetitively told me "Everything is on track, we're fine" etc. A week before closing I'm informed that we need to push out closing and that I need to come up with another $5k. I was consistently told I only needed the money I had already invested. I am now 2.5 weeks passed my closing date. My loan officer has still been persistent with "it'll happen. I'll figure it out." I got an email this morning that I have to cancel my offer on the house because after speaking with the manager here at Cambria, it doesn't look possible... at all. Why would a company tell me I'm approved, tell me I don't need extra money down, that everything is on track etc all for me to lose my house. When I explained the situation to the manager all he said was "I am sorry for the miscommunication." I do not recommend them. To top it off, I am almost 8 months pregnant and facing homelessness due to procrastination and an inability to just be honest with me from the beginning.
