I have been a member for over 40 years. The nicest,most personable and professional folks work here. Superior service and yes always with a smile Big time banking with a small town feeling. Warm & friendly staff. Give this place a try and you to will be a 40 + year member.

Not enough tellers waited in line almost 7 minutes. At 11:00 in the morning.

I was making a cash deposit late this morning on a walk up atm machine. Once I inserted my deposit the machine froze then restarted leaving no trace of the money I had just deposited. The general manager Janette comes out to later refer me to Tamra. Tamra was incredibly helpful, reassuring, and empathetic. Because of her I had a good experience today. In contrast Janette didn’t say not one thing to me that was helpful in fact the words that came out of her mouth were unhelpful verging on disrespectful. This is an issue for me not because my feelings were hurt; her tone left me feeling like I couldn’t trust that the issue would be resolved properly. That’s not the way I want to feel about my local bank. I’m sure she’s a decent manager but she has no business communicating with customers.

Almost 10 years member. Went to apply for credit card for any amount just to have a credit card. Got declined. Credit score 785. They didn’t even bother to work with me to get me any amount. Received automatic decline email…Will take my business somewhere else. Update: 3 days later got approved for citi premium double cash…don’t waste your time with this place

This bank is a joke. They will rob you in overdraft fees, and make easy transactions harder. Their customer service line is also a joke. They will transfer you to a call center that is not the bank and can't answer questions, making you wait a whole business day for a reply. Worst credit union ive ever been a member of. Everytime I walk into the la Mesa location there's long lines and only two tellers.

Worst bank ever, don’t e en think it making account here u less u want o be continuously charged fees, have your information leaked, and money stolen from you. And when that happens and you call they are so unhelpful and rude.

This Bank sold out and got to many new clients and not enough people to help them. Horrible in bank service and even worse over the phone. Id trust my money with a 5 year old over them. 22 years as a member im out. Ill grow my business and keep my money where its safe.

Customer Service the s a thing of the past. They want you to be a member but Don’t arrive 2 minutes til 4pm , they won’t allow you in even with other customers inside. Oh sorry, you can’t come in and not even, an I’m sorry. I happen to the days of bankers hours being 9-5pm? If they lack service in this department image on the more important things!

Been a customer for 20 years. My wife and I both left message for someone at CAL COAST regarding an auto loan. They did not return either of our calls or even reply to our email. ( And we have 2 accounts, good credit and $ in the bank ) Kinda a bummer, lot of work for us to switch banks, but we are slowly going to transition our accounts to another institution..

###Buyer beware### I am a small business owner and have been a member for twenty years but have no intention on continuing. If you have worked hard for your credit score and care about maintaining it dont go here. VERY disappointed in this financial institution and their handling of my application to increase my credit card limit from a mere $300 dollars (which I have had since high school) to increase the amount to something that is more substantial and helpful for an adult in an emergency situation. Long story short the loan officer did nothing close to his due diligence in preparing my application, did not write down the correct information. Simple said you have awesome A+ credit shouldn't be a problem what so ever. WRONG I was declined and basicaly told that they have washed their hands of it. Now im left with the hit on credit which dropped my score a good amount and nothing to show for it. What is the point of good credit or loyalty? None in their eyes.
