California Check Cashing Stores Telegraph Ave, Oakland

They have 2 people working on a Friday. Extremely slow service and it is dirty AF in this location. The fact that their air registers are caked with grime and dirt is a problem. Only came here because B of A on college is closed due to flooding and needed a money order. I will never be back here. If you don't have pride in the asthethetics of your business and obviously don't give AF about what your employees or customers are breathing, I don't give AF about ever coming back here. Edit: so that was written while standing in line for 30 minutes. The 2 ladies working there today were very nice although they were slammed... adding a star just for the good customer service by the staff working today. But the management should be ashamed to have them sitting there inhaling all that bs from the vents.

Real bad service for disable people. The wait time is terrible and there's no chair for a disable person to sit who have standing limitations. The clerks are very very very slow in expediting customer service.

The onlyvreason I am even giving 1 star is because negative stars are not available. This place is horrible. 8 people in line, 5 people behind the glass. 4 employees are playing around and being very loud, one person very slowly taking customers while loudly making sure she was part of the "cool kids" by laughing obnoxiously loud and for far too long. After waiting in line for 30 minutes, spent another 30 minutes at the window while the girl was doing, who knows what.. Then I am told my customer declined the check they JUST wrote. My customer called me while I was still there and told me they approved it. The "cashier" completely lied to me. Not going here again.

Everytime i have ever went i dtood in line for more than 30 minutes its crazy they don't have the staff and the staff they do have is slow AF!!!

Apparently they have changed to a cash ONLY but Do Not have any posted signs. I wasted 10 min in line to find out they are now Cash Only. Plus there were 4 staff , 1 security and 3 staff Not assisting customers as the line grows out the door

The person working the phone at 8:39 on the 26th of August 2020 should not be employed there. She was rude, disrespectful, short & hung up in my face twice before I could even ask a question. How is it my fault that 7 of your locations didn’t have $3,000 to handle my transfer? I simply wanted to know if this establishment could handle the transaction. Instead I was bombarded by pure disrespect and unprofessional behavior. As long as she is employed there I will be earning friends and associates to do business elsewhere.

Super long lines, super slow cashiers pretty much sums this place up. In addition to that they charge 5% for money orders if using a debit card! Pretty rediculous imo... I'll never go back, BTW, there is a post office across the street that charges $1.50...

Usually my experience here isnt memorable and that's a good thing. What's night the manager was Snappy and rude for no reason. I've been coming here for about 10 years it really just was uncalled for. I understand I work in service but I just can't see myself behaving that way under any circumstances really. Other than that a clean well-run and efficient location for these kind of services.

Opened a loan in March, paid it in April when I cashed my stimulus check and am still getting harassed by collection agencies saying I didn't pay my loan. I called the store with no answer and corporate didn't help so now I got the BBB involved and am suing. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!! THEY ARE KNOWN FOR LOAN FRAUD AND CREDIT SCAMS!!!!!

Yes the tellers and manager Jazz are very nice, helpful, but the organization thats in place to service people is so slow i mean slooow, in my day I was in customer service, my job was to service quickly it's not the workers it's the system. - Online service to apply for payday loans is the best Ace ck. cashing has it already, so smooth
