I used Caliber to buy my first home and worked with Amanda, she was absolutely amazing! This team is soo responsive. Usually getting answers to my questions within an hour or so. I had no idea what I was doing and Amanda explained everything and made it so easy. We even were able to close a week early! I have recommended Caliber to everyone! Our loan consultant, Amanda Walker, was a steadfast guide on our home buying journey. No matter what came up she was relentless in her desire to ensure that we got the right loan that we needed for our home purchase. Amanda was patient, responsive and personable in all of her interactions with my wife and me. Further, no matter what questions or concerns that we had, she was always available to help us. Amanda Walker is an effective, personable and pragmatic lending professional. My wife and I also had some interaction with the manager of this branch, Brandy Nelms. (She actually got us started on the loan process.) Brandy responded promptly to our initial email to set up a telephone meeting with her to discuss the process for working with Caliber loans. During this call, she gave us an effective overview of the lending process which caused us to settle on Caliber for our lending needs. Brandy also checked in with us at different points of the process to see how things were going and she was always responsive whenever we reached out to her directly. We tried to get a refinance through an online source, huge mistake. Soo many phone calls from so many different brokers. Spent a weeks reviewing each source that called. We were extremely disappointed in their customers service. 90% of the dozens of brokers we researched had poor yelp reviews, and all had the same will not contact me back theme after closing. We were exhausted from the looking at people whom obviously are not here for their customers. Then Sara said why don't we use who we brokered the house through originally. Turned out to be soo much easier, and local. Having recently refinanced a different loan online, I wish I would have known about Brandy Nelms and Team. First, compared to online-only lender rates, we were able to secure a very competitive, low rate for this new loan. In comparison, Calibre Home loans had a lot fewer parties to engage with then with my prior online lender experience. The underwriting process was tremendously smooth, because their communication was personal and effective. Special thanks to Alexis, too, for answering my many questions, the process was very timely - closed early - and generally very pleasant. It really felt like the whole team working FOR us.
