Shawn is absolutely amazing when it comes to buying a home. My fiancée and I had no idea how this process worked— we were first time buyers. We did some research and came across Shawn and decided to chat with him (based on prior reviews). Immediately, we knew that we wanted to work with him and found our agent through Shawn’s recommendation. We found our dream home within 2 months (not bad for being in the middle of a pandemic!) and Shawn was very proactive about the process. He created help videos and documents to help us decide which loan to pick and at which rate. It was so incredibly helpful! Not only that, but he is always responsive. The buyer actually counter offered on a Saturday and I was able to work with Shawn to understand how much this offer would look like for us in terms of down payment and monthly spendings that same day. There were some bumps along the road during our escrow but Shawn was always on top of emails/calls/texts to address our concerns or questions. Shawn and team did an amazing job in making sure that we close our loan in record time! Shawn and his team were really good at communicating throughout the refi process. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure the process was smooth for us. We used an online portal for managing all the document sharing etc, which made it pretty easy. He was able to provide competitive offers vs. other brokers saving us money. I'd happily work with him in the future as well. Updated May 2021 - Shawn and the C2 Financial Corp team worked on another closing for us. This was a really tricky closing since there was no finance contingency, but the team pulled some great heroics to get the deal done. So grateful to have them on our side.

Update: 9/30/2021: Just completed another mortgage refi through C2 Financial Corp; another great experience. Shawn contacted me to let me know rates had lowered so now we have even lower payments than before! If you want lower payments, call Shawn! I had a good experience getting a mortgage loan through Shawn and would not hesitate to recommend him to others for getting a very competitive rate.

I just closed my 1st home purchased with Shawn! Shawn started helping me from getting pre approved to agent recommendations few years back and despite challenges and failures he is always available to answer your questions and offer solutions. I'm so impressive with Shawn and his team!
