Buckeye State Credit Union- Akron E Thornton St, Akron

I would not recommend you banking with Buckeye or even opening a saving account. Opened a savings account years ago for my car loan and they made me open a saving account. Which was okay. Then once my loan was complete they sent me a letter letting me k ow I have a balance in my balance and I can pick up or leave it open. I was moving at the time so I had to wait to go get and I don’t live close to the location. Since I waited till “June” not knowingly that it’s a new quarter and the balance of saving account has to be over $250 they took my $10 for a par fee. Never once used this account or anything and this is not the first they will charge you a fee (don’t use the online app to pay your loan). On the letter it did not say come get this before it’s a new quarter or the amount I will have to keep my account at. It’s not common Courtesy to send a letter with the other letter stating that there will be fees since the account was open years ago and I never used the savings account? I will never open up a saving account here again.

Amin and Stephanie were very helpful with my auto loan, very fast and efficient. They both went above and beyond to help me get my loan as quick as possible so that I could pick up my new car this weekend. Very thankful for both staff members.

I can't believe how easy it is to get financed. Got a car through them last year paid it off yesterday and I got approved the same day to get another loan. Thank you Stephanie for your help. Stephanie answered all my questions and I'll definitely be back if I ever need anything else.

Well I agree with friendly atmosphere but management and who s responsible for those who sell extended warranties at the bank will Never stand for there obligations witch put me in debt. A broken down Truck in a upside down loan....Be Aware you get a car from them best thing to do Don't

I called in back in November and had some questions about a refi of my current loan with Huntington. I was told I had to speak to manager. I work in nursing both locally and I travel so my tome is limited so i tried to call in and stopped on 2 Saturdays hoping to get information when I had extra time. Both times no manager and when I asked what Saturday the manager would be there no one could tell me and moreless indicated never. I took a travel assignment for a month in Texas so I didn't worry about it. I started seeing social media ads and thought I'd give buckeye one more shot, especially with rates being so low. I tried to call in again,spoke with Shantell (not sure how to spell her name) and she was great. I would give her 5 stars, but the fact the manager has never returned my call was it, I dug through my trash and found the offer from Rocket and that is who I am refinancing with now.

Buckeye Credit Union, is more than a bank. I’ve been with them for almost 1 year. They’re more like family. They take care of you. They want to help you with all of your needs. Benjamin helped me without effort and Jessica sealed the deal with being very caring and understanding of my financial needs and they have so many amazing products. For years, Buckeye has been a stable resource for me. The staff is always pleasant, and willing to assist. The environment is warm and inviting. Newly decorated, it is a great atmosphere. I've been banking with BSCU since last year. Everyone is always friendly and courteous. I was able to refinance my consolidation loan with them for a much lower payment and when I buy a vehicle I'm definitely getting my car loan with them. Two thumbs up!

I had went there on a wimb last week and I got approved for a great loan. Jessica got me approved for a low rate and a great payment ! I recommend to anyone that is just starting up with credit, they are very professional and work fast to get you what you need! 10 stars!

I've never had problems until today. I am ready to change banks. I'm having financial hardships at the moment and I have no money in my account. Car insurance bill due so I took cash I borrowed to deposit to pay insurance online. I put almost $100 dollars in to my account and had a balance of .78 cents. Overdraft took $7.00 daily since I didnt know, never notifying me and I had no idea. I also specifically requested to not have overdraft. Now I have no money and car insurance due

The clerks are friendly and efficient they remember you which is refreshing.lines be long on some days but the clerks work together to keep the line moving quick.they are very knowledgeable about the services they provide u don't find that often...I recommend this bank to everyone who needs a bank

During the holiday season, my card was hacked. But with the quick response of the fraud department and Mr.Black, all is well. He was able to straighten out the problem immediately. I love my credit union
