    I have phoned throughout the nine years or so of being a member regarding fees, balance transfer loans, credit cards and to learn of various products the CU offers. Until about a few months ago, the hold time was ridiculously long, lately it’s been very short, happy to say. The telephone support from Antionette, Allison, Evonne, Sebastian, Sheila and many others is always A-1, like that sauce. They are always very knowledgeable, courteous, and accommodating with my various questions about interest rates of the credit card loans, locating shared branches as well as with answering other questions. I’ve always found the tellers to be easy to interact with. The CU has checking, savings and vacation savings accounts, free basic life insurance for all members, joint accounts to add minors, credit card loans with zero balance transfer fees, home and car loans and all CUs are non-profit. I like to pay my Florida gas bill with the Pop Money feature, it allows you to pay bills and it even has a feature that sends a text reminder to pay a bill for a future date. BSCU has evening and Saturday hours, and many convenient branch and ATM access locations, including shared in Miami-Dade as well. The lobby lines always move fast and lobbies are always clean and neat. To join BSCU, you only have to live or work in Broward; I bet you can even join if you simply claim either.

    My wife and I each had a Bright Star debit card lapse and wanted to replace them with current cards. We went to our local branch late last week, and the clerk quickly and efficiently accommodated our requests. The new cards arrived this afternoon. This experience contrasts with an earlier experience last spring where we had to spend an inordinate amount of time renewing a financial arrangement.

    I open an account for my young adult daughter recently at my BrightStar Credit Union and I had the best representative Maria M. to assist me. She was so patient, informative, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. She went beyond the requirements of her job. I highly recommend her because of the exceptional service she provided.

    Horrible- My Business & Personal info mixed up all the time or not able to access, Password always wrong 100 always correct, and after the tech helps the same password magically works fine! Couldn't access to acc in the previous month for pay sales tax, late penalty $50.05 just 05/21 sales tax, right now waiting for 55 minutes online tech help, connecting the only personal account, and now they lock it out, I continue waiting, I've been a big fan of the Bank because bank personnel's are great, I must find new bank elsewhere very soon!

    I have been with BrightStar Credit Union for over 20 years. Sheila ID: 4305 is one of the best phone reps I have ever experienced since being with this Bank. I can count on my fingers the number of times I have had a good phone experience calling for assistants about my bank account. Sheila was amazing. I hope she can train the rest of the phone Reps on what customer service looks like. Sheila really helped me and was very patient. I am so thankful for her professionalism. I hope this department recognize what a jewel she is to this company. If she had a direct line, I would call her every time I have an issue with my account. I am so thankful for her help today.

    The person that helped me on the phone was very courteous and helped me with all my concerns. She even helped me set up my online banking which I never could get back in, so I wasn't able to used it. I just want to thank her for assisting me. Now I'm able to used online banking. She was excellent.

    There have been times I am riled up and ready for a battle concerning certain transactions and when I call, I usually get someone who is very calm and handles the call/complaints very professionally. That is one of the good qualities is that they trained them well in customer service skills. 5/30/2020, I spoke with a young lady by the name of Rashida, don't know if I spelled it correctly, but she was very helpful and courteous. Thank you for your patience and for being helpful and supportive. On the other hand, Brightstar has a few flaws in which I find to be inconvenient. For instance, they don't have a number to reach an agent on weekends or at night, they charge for every little thing and they don't give their customer support when they have been a victim of fraud, instead they make you feel like the criminal until or unless you can prove that you are not. Also, if someone sends you money through cash app you're not able to get the money right away. You have to wait at least three business days or wait to call them and get them to give you a temporary credit, that's if they are open. There are other things I can complain about, but I'm not trying to knock them, just feel they can do better for their customers.

    I have been a member of Bright star Credit Union for almost ten years if not longer and honestly I haven't always had the greatest customer service. Today Jackie made my day! I had two transactions tied up from a declined online purchase and she was able to first listen to the issue and what I was doing on my end to resolve it. Instead of apologizing and saying there was nothing she could do, Jackie asked if I could send her the information from the merchant acknowledging the transactions did not go through on their end. She spoke with her supervisor and was able to release the funds, and stayed on the line until I verified the funds were available. She even offered me a Brightstar credit card. Jackie thank you for everything, customer service Representatives like you are the reason why people like me prefer speaking to real people that understand us rather than machines. You made my day!

    My experience at BrightStar was excellent! I had a situation where my account and debit card were compromised twice, right behind each other after a vacation out of the US. The Fraud Department and the staff in the Credit Union have assisted me well since the beginning of this awful ordeal. They took the time to provide assurance that these very important matters would be taken care of and have stayed in contact through it all.     I’ve been with Bright Star going on 4 maybe 5 years and I never had not one single issue but for some reason every time I have to go inside the bank I always run into Gregory and he always takes care of my issues and gets me in and out. He even helps his co-workers when they have an issue at the same time while taking care of his customer but in overall the whole bank itself is AWESOME plus Gregory deserves a raise.

    Five stars are not enough to rate BrightStar Credit Union. The customer service, services offered and security features are extraordinary. Stephanie and Sandra were were awesome representatives as they both assisted me with multiple services and were so patient and friendly during the entire phone call today. The waiting hold time was very reasonable also. I felt as if I was the only customer being served on the phone. Stephanie, a special thank you to you for taking out the time to ensure all of my questions were answered and services were rendered successfully. BrightStar is the perfect name for this bank!     The agent Jasmine was very, very helpful. She took my problem explained it to me and my options. And, went a step further explain to me what needed to do to have access to my card while traveling in Europe. I gave her my travel dates and when I was returning to the U.S again. She made a notation on my record. I am happy that I can still do online banking while waiting for my new replacement bank card. Gave was superb and should be given kudos and credit. Jasmine owned the problem and followed thru. I am an IT person who has worked in a call center and in my book she knows her work well. She even conferred with her supervisor. Job well done. And, finally she had a great cheering attitude. Made me feel better about my trip today.

    Bright Star Credit Union is my preferred bank. Its promptness in serving clients is attractive.No waste of time first coming, first-served with respect and creative confidence. However, I would like the bank to stay open every Saturday to make it easier for the employees.

    I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Jasmine and Sheila Newton for their assistance in resolving an EXTREMELY time sensitive matter. These two young ladies offered great advice and Sheila even offered to do a conference call with the company that I had a dispute with. I've been a member with BrightStar for 25+ years. The service that they've provided over the years has been exceptional. The situation that I've had to deal with over the past couple of days has been like no other and I commend these two ladies for going above and beyond to provide great customer service. They understood the serious nature of this matter and was empathetic to my concerns. BrightStar definitely has two great assets that should be proud of and rewarded for their efforts.     I applied for auto loan few days ago and my credit score close to 800 . The surprise is that they have people that they can not read the credit report and they are deciding totally wrong .in fact they lie to the member for a lot of things .I already mentioned to them that I am already approved with my Bank of America but I like to do business with them bscu because the only thing I can say that they have better APR . My personal feedback as a member .never come back to them and they do not know how to value the member .better always to go for big banks like Wellsfargo or Bank of America o chase and you will find everything fast and the answer will be answered online instead of backing to old era like bright star credit Union . Never recommend to any friend or co-worker.by the way … I am a sales manager at sawgrass Infiniti and I know my things more than them and they still do not know how to figure out deals . Aime/ Chan / Rasheeda all team need to be trained again and again and again . I wish you all the best for you . Mo over sawgrass Infiniti.

    Today I called BSCU, and spoke to the most helpful, sincere, caring, kind, and very professional and knowledgeable individual by the name of Jacqueline. I didn't get the surname, but her extension is 4319. She went above and beyond the call of duty to accommodate me. She was very patient with me, gave great listening skills, and never once interrupted me when I was speaking or make corrections on what I was saying even I wasn't very clear in explaining myself on what I wanted to do. She waited until I was finished speaking, then proceeded to explain what steps I should take. She is a very important asset to your company.     Today 2/5/2019 I spoke with Representative Kyla. The service I received was superb. She was professional, friendly, patient, understanding and efficient. I was very nervous about my situation and she calmed me down with her beautiful voice and understanding. Your organization is lucky to have her on your staff. She is an asset!!

    The Service Rep. Rasheeda was wonderful and very helpful. She really knows her job! I have never had a customer service to actually helped to the end, even when the call dropped she actually called me back to continue, how dedicated is that!? I am so thankful she answered when I called about my card being blocked, because my card had been compromised. The card has been cancelled and a new card is on its way! Many thanks to Ms Rasheeda and thanks to BSCU for having such a wonderful representative. My experience was great A+

    Have been with them since 1999, always helpful, best rates, customer friendly. Even financed my car while living in another state seamlessly. We have a Home Equity Line of Credit with them and the loan process was smooth and fast. Your missing out of they are not your 1st choice in financial needs.

    I experienced a pending transaction that required immediate attention. The customer service representative name was Sebastian. I'm telling you this guy made my day. He understood my situation and handled it promptly as well as professionally. I was so grateful that I got him as a customer service rep.

    I called to resolve an issue w/ my car payment & CHAN the rep was Super Amazing & knowledgeable! She resolved the confusion on the acct & even called me back after our call was disconnected to assure me the transaction was successfully processed.     This is the first time I am happy to receive a survey regarding my experience and interaction with one of your employees. My problem started at bill pay . The lady at bill pay redirected me to BrightStar to get the help I needed. Lucky for me a young lady name Sheila picked-up my call. This is the kind of associate every caller would like to speak to.     I had a great experience with my BSCU customer service helper, Rashida. She was patient, helped me with my questions, and was clear and concise in her directions which solved my problems. All in all I had a very positive experience.

    I called for support, I sent money to a person who was not able to receive it. The hold time was acceptable and once I was authenticated the the account the representative Akila(sp?) was very helpful and efficient in resolving my issue. She also reminded me of their great loan servicing and i intend to use them when I make my next vehicle purchase.
