Michelle Edmond and Daniella Gizzi are exceptional at your downtown Fort Lauderdale location. Promote them, but keep them at that location because I go to that location specifically because they are there and they give Brightstar a great name and create a personalized experience that banks normally don't achieve. Honestly I just met Michelle today and understand she may be new and I commend you on a great hire. I have had the pleasure of seeing Daniella each time I go. She is pleasant, efficient, and emotionally intelligent. I do not say this lightly because I have given negative feedback about your organization as well as a few employees. I was about to switch banks, but recently moved to downtown Ft. Lauderdale and that made the downtown location convenient. I went one time and after walking out I quickly realized it was one of those moments that confirms what you have always known to be true was true, people matter, and can make or break a business no matter how large or small. I am a small business owner and know that fact well. Daniella singlehandedly changed Brightstars trajectory concerning me and my satisfaction with banking there. I know this is a long review, but your leaders should know that people make a difference and you have a young lady at your downtown location that gets it. She is making a difference everyday and most likely with every single customer and colleague she encounters. So I take giving feedback seriously because I am always seeking it. Daniella deserves to be commended and rewarded. She saved me from leaving and didn't even know it. Now maybe I don't matter. I am aware of the fact that I am just one of many Brightstar customers. The Eureka moment should be the fact that she didn't know she was saving me and that is the high value of professionals like Daniella. Just being who they are, is the difference. You need more like her, and I recommend you do everything possible to keep her because her value is immense. I told her personally she rocks because I believe in giving flowers when I smell them, right on the spot, because people need to know who they really are so that they can light the world, authentically, in the midst of so much darkness. Brightstar should do the same. ✌🏿❤️‼️

Went in on a Saturday to open an account for my teenager. Member Rep, Frantz Dorvilne assisted us. We didn't have to wait long, he helped us open the account and download the BSCU app to the cellphone. Mr. Dorvilne was polite, kind, and knowledgeable. All of our questions were answered, and we left happy and accomplished. I've been a Brightstar member for years, and I must state that they have amazing customer service... top representatives from the past such a Miss Mavia and Miss Annette Sanford, and now the present with Mr. Dorvilne. I love being a Brightstar customer!!! 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

This branch is THE BEST!!!! McKenzie asked all the staff there are super nice, knowledgeable and patient. Every time I go there I have the best interaction. I've been with them for over 10 years now. Love them!!!

Bright Star Credit Union in Downtown Fort Lauderdale has been my bank since 2003. Over the past 15 years I have noticed that staff has always been friendly, very helpful, and most important excellent customer service skills. I have to say without any doubt that the current staff is the best. My questions, queries, and requests has always been taken care of in a professional manner. All my questions are being answered as if they are urgent. I never have to wait long for answers. Great staff!!!!

The staff members are very pleasant at this branch… I would give them 10 stars if it was a rating. Keep up the professional Demeanor.

I WOULD NOT recommend this Credit Union. They're very disorganized. You leave voicemails and they don't callback. Calling Customer Service takes forever, they don't answer the phone, or it takes sitting on the call until someone finally gets on the line. I had gone in to inquire about mortgage information, the person I spoke with told me someone would contact me by phone, NEVER received a callback. Everything with BrightStar is very complicated and slow. There was a promotion for a particular credit card, 0 APR. turns out I ended up at 12%.

Great staff, clean atmosphere and wonderful service. Frantz was friendly, patient, professional, informative and represented Brighstar credit union very well.

I had to get a $200 cashier's check yesterday. I went to the downtown branch. I'll start off by mentioning that my experiences there a few years ago were bad enough that I would avoid the downtown branch alltogeter. Based on my experience yesterday, it's safe to assume they have made some transformations....GROOVY transformations. A lovely young lady named Mackenzie, generously helped me with all my confusing banking tasks with the grace and confidence of a sharp professional who ,clearly, values her integrity far more than her ego. Now, I can happily put the downtown branch back on my map. So, Mac! Well done. You're goin' places! And to all the associates of downtown, thank you!

I love BrightStar! We have moved all our accounts: checking, savings, mortgage, business account, car, equity line. Every account has a great interest rate. Online access and convenience is excellent and highly reliable. At the Downtown office I use customer service is tops with everyone helpful and friendly. It's important to me to use local services, and BrightStar can't be beat.

Definitely the best credit union I have come across. The staff is young and vibrant with being very knowledgable and friendly. Almost everyone that came in was greeted by name as if they were family which is something you don't see nowadays. Id recommend anyone to this branch and credit union easily! thumbs up!

Customer service is next level at this credit union! I was pleasantly surprised from the moment I came in and was greeted by Kevin. Almost made it feel like a game show walking up to his window to do my transaction lol. He was very nice and knowledgable about pretty much anything I had a question about which is definitely a bonus. If you want to have a great experience and good customer service I definitely recommend this branch.
