    Sonny and Steve (technician) we’re awesome today. Dropped off the car off at 11am and received video updates through out service. I saw exactly what needed to be repaired, and received up to date communication from Sonny the entire time. Oil change, 22K service and replaced the water pump all in one afternoon - fantastic work you guys. First class experience, and why I’ve been a loyal BB customer for over 25 years. Keep it up! P.S. Can’t forget a shout out to Dennis my shuttle driver!

    In all honesty, Alberto is the best vehicle salesman we've ever dealt with. He was kind, listened and not even one time did he ever come across as pressuring. He gave us time and space to look around and try out any vehicles we wanted. He answered all questions we had. It was a very pleasant and easy experience and I got exactly what I wanted.     As a mom and co-signer for my daughter’s car, I couldn’t be happier on how she was treated when she visited the dealership and test drove the car (without me). Once she decided this was the vehicle we worked with Michael H. at the pre-owned office who took great care of us and even allowed mom to weigh in to get peace of mind.     Sanin did a great job taking care of me. I appreciated his attention to detail and overall concern with making sure my vehicle was running the way it should. I brought in my Traverse for a simple oil change and they found a small exhaust leak. Sanin got the part ordered and made sure my vehicle was fixed very quickly. Good as new!

    Clyde collected the information from us electronically that he needed, had everything ready for us to sign, and we drove off in our 23 Traverse High Country within a very short time.     Sanin was so helpful getting my remote start installation set up. He was great with communication and availability. He gave me all the details and updates and even provided shuttle service. He also had his friendly staff teach me how to use/test out my remote start. I had a wonderful and comfortable experience and will definitely be back and recommend Sanin!

    I went car shopping at Bob Brown Chevrolet. I have to say that this was by far my best car shopping experience. Jazmin Tejada (salesman) She was VERY informative. she even made sure to answer each and every question. Jazmin went above and beyond to make sure I got the car I wanted. She was VERY kind, personable, and educated. She wasn't like other car salesman I have had experience with. She wasn't pushy, wasn't constantly harassing you to buy a car these people at BOB BROWN are very well educated and are very much on your side. We will surely be coming to Bob Brown Chevrolet for years to come. Also, JOE from financing was VERY helpful, and he educated me on a a lot of things while I was there.     Every time I go there I ask for the tires to be rotated. I bought 4 tires there and you get free tire rotation. However, about a year and a half ago I asked for them to be rotated. They come in and tell me they don’t need it because they have even wear on all tires. Hmmm, could be because they are two cars deep for oil changes and the tire rotating which is to be free would take up time where they could be making money. So I had to go to the Chevy dealer in Boone to get my recall done and the oil change and they even rotated my tires. This time when I went to your place they tell me they can’t rotate them because they are at a 3-4. BullS***. I don’t understand. Why would I buy tires from this place again if they will never rotate them for free if bought there, as advertised? At least the oil change was good, I hope.

    I want to show my appreciation for Sanin Sinanovic (Service Advisor) at the Urbandale Bob Brown location. He’s gone above and beyond my expectations. I scheduled an appt for a check engine light and found out multiple items needed replaced. It was brought to my attention the extended warranty had just expired a couple days prior. Sanin contacted the warranty company and in the end was able to get a majority of the work covered saving me thousands. I want to thank him for his great customer service as he kept me updated throughout the whole process. I’ll be a lifelong customer based on my experience. Again, Thank You Sanin!

    Sanin did an amazing job with helping me with getting my car in after the app didn’t work, he got me in and after it was all said and done he helped with calling Allstate to get the warrenty and make sure it was covered.     My Silverado broke down passing through Des Moines, stranding me almost 1,000 miles from home. Had it towed here, and it looks like they’re getting me fixed under warranty and on my way in just a few hours. Their normal service scheduling was fully booked for days, but Sonny pushed me up given my circumstance. He has been very receptive and helpful. Total lifesaver!

    I was concerned about the noise on the front left wheel when I called to make an appointment. Sanin joined the call and noted the concerns and manufacturer recommended services I wanted to make and provided pricing on some of the line items. The voice, text and iservice communication was great throughout the day of the appointment to provide progress update and communicate additional work needed. Sanin was excellent at explaining the urgent repair work versus repair work that can wait 10k+ miles. He helped me enormously in making an informed decision. Thank you Sanin.

    If I could give this dealer a 0 I would. The customer service side of this company and appalling and just ridiculous. Tod Ferguson has dealt with me and my family twice now and has treated us terribly. They sold me a car and now are refusing to fix. To my understanding talking to other dealerships and auto mechanics no matters the problem my car should me fixed by who sold it.

    We recently purchased a used truck from Bob Brown pre owned chevy dealership in Urbandale, We worked Zachary Blair. Zachary & his sale team gave us what we wanted for our trade in & a smooth, easy purchase of our new truck.. Zachary & Bob Brown chevy staff made sure the truck we were purchasing had all of the recalls & any maintenance taken care of before leaving the dealership.. After we have taken the truck home we noticed the mirror amber light wasn't working, I called and notified Zachary & Bob Brown chevy the next day & said they would take care of it. Thank you to Zachary Blair & Bob Brown for taking care of this. I would definitely buy another truck from Zachary Blair and Bob Brown chevy.

    I came in this morning without an appointment and Sanin Sinanovic helped me immediately. I had a bad noise on left wheel and he worked me in that morning and had my problem repaired late afternoon. I had a serious leak and my axil had gone bad so I’m very thankful for his assistance.

    My truck had a check engine light. I brought it to Sanin S. Who was able to get it in to be looked at very quickly as well as worked. My truck had to stay in the shop for a couple of days Sanin was able to get me a loaner so I could drive back and forth to work. Sanin kept me updated on the progress of my vehicle, also informed me that my vehicle was in the care of Bob L. Both worked on my truck keeping me updated until my truck was fixed. Greatly appreciated the service thank you.

He took time to help us order accessories, made sure we understood everything about the vehicles we bought, how the warranty works, etc. At no point did we feel rushed to make a decision.     I recently bought a car from the Bob Brown Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) lot in Ankeny, Iowa. I left with the impression that the vehicle had been placed on the CPO lot, due to it having passed the CPO requirements. I was on the Chevrolet website and was looking at the warranty information and found the CPO page. The warranty information listed several CPO warranties that I was not made aware of. I attempted to contact the Used Car Sales Manager but was told he was busy, so I left a message, to which I never received a return call, as expected. I went to dealership, Saturday, April 11th, to clarify the CPO warranties. I talked to a Sales Manager, who didn't identify himself and attempted to talk to him about this issue. I was told that only certain vehicles were CPO to save the customers the pass on costs to do a CPO. I pointed out that I bought the car there and pointed out the Bob Brown Certified Previously Owned sign at the corner of the lot. He stated that it wasn't GM policy to certify all cars, but it was Bob Brown Chevrolet's decision which ones to do a CPO on. He looked up the auto I purchased and stated that my auto was not CPO. He stated that I could tell if it was by the Bob Brown license plate, as it would say "Certified" on it. I asked to speak to his Manager and was told he had gone home for the weekend. I feel that I was deceived by the CPO signage at the used auto lot, by not being told that the auto I purchased was not a CPO. The automatic inclusion in my paperwork of a "policy" to cover Bumper-to-Bumper when my warranty expired in three months, the misinformation about the CPO identification on the vehicles and the overall deception on the part of the dealership to enforce a non-existent CPO program, conceived to mislead the general public. Yes, I found on the Bob Brown website a "few" CPO listed vehicles, primarily large SUV's and trucks, apparently ones that nobody wants without a CPO as an incentive to buy. I want this matter corrected, and will do what I can to correct this mismanagement policy, no matter what.

    Dropped my vehicle off on a scheduled day at 7:00 a.m. for a recall repair. The service manager said it would be completed by the end of the day. Arrangements were made for the shuttle to bring me back to the dealership at 4:00 p.m. When I returned, the work hadn't been started. The service manager said I could wait 30 minutes for them to do the work or they could pick up my car the next day. I opted to wait and have them complete the recall. Fifteen minutes later he came back and said they couldn't complete the recall in 30 minutes. Arrangements were made for my car to be picked up the next day. The recall work was completed that day. I was without a car for 2 full days and waited at the dealership for 45 minutes while the manager figured out a solution. I was given an apology, but no compensation for my time or loss of a vehicle for 2 days. This is not my first poor experience with the Bob Brown service department. The facilities are nice and the shuttle service is great, but it has consistently taken more than one appointment to complete work.

    Day of experience was great. 2 days after service while on a road trip with my family we experienced car trouble that was the result of something not being replaced/tightened correctly. Lots of stress and another visit to the service center as a result. Wasn’t thrilled with this particular experience at all.

    As always, my service was very prompt, in and out in 20 minutes. Friendly staff, went over all aspects of the service. I have a new vehicle, so nothing else needed to be done, but if there was something, I would trust the service to be done there.

    I am not disappointed in the actual oil changing service, but I disappointed in several things: 1) Car washes used to be included with oil change, but are no longer included; 2) Your cheapest oil change was $60.00, and did not include car wash or tire rotation; 3) Tire rotation was $15 + $60 oil change, so $75 for a basic service, that is high in comparison to others. 4) I had a fog light out, they offered to replace it for $12.00 plus the cost of the bulb, then they realized they couldn't replace the bulb, so i would have to make an appointment with the service department. 5) Thankfully i had a $20.00 off coupon, otherwise the cost of the service i received was definitely not worth it.

    It’s been 7 years since we bought a new family vehicle. We decided we wanted a 2021 Traverse. She had her heart set on an 3LT and it had to be black cherry in color. We looked all over the state of IA, NE and SD. She found on me at Bob Brown. I submitted an online inquiry so see if it was still available and Calvin reached out within hours.     I had my truck in for an accident repair. Since AAA towed the truck in, I didn't have any input on that end. The truck was fixed in short order, and was cleaned up better than it arrived. Overall I'm very pleased in the final product, and condition of like new truck.

    Scheduled an appointment to have some issues addressed and possibly fixed, asked about and rental car, a loaner or a beater to have to drive while it's being fixed. Was told they don't have any at all but they could offer a shuttle service home. Explained I drive to a jobsite 110 miles round trip daily and that wouldn't work neither would leaving it for a weekend. And I'm not spending $600 a week on a rental car. The issues are for brake system and antilock brake system and hard brake pedal when coming to a stop, along with other electrical issues. On top of all that just to get ahold of an adviser I had to called the general manager who was a home for the day, he also seems to be the only one who cares about the dealership as a whole. Terrible customer service and will never again be purchasing another vehicle from here, my advice go to Karl's because they will give customers a loaner if they bought their car from them.

    Had one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Due to sudden circumstances my mom is having to go car shopping. Stopped in to look at the Equinox & Trailblazers. No one could be found as we walked in & we were not greeted by the lady at the desk. We walked to the sales area and a sales consultant looked at us, got up from his desk & hid behind another row of desks. Another sales consultant (who was watching a movie full blast at his desk) glanced up and asked if we needed him. Let him know we were looking to test drive a few cars. Without looking said he didn’t think they had any but could check. After asking him to we were told there were none in the area & he resumed his movie without further assistance. Very poor customer service. Would recommend making the trip to Ankeny to go to Karl’s Chevrolet instead.

    My son and I had a horrible experience in July at this dealership. We stopped in because we saw cars on the lot and wanted to do a test drive. The salesman told us he wouldn’t waste his time on us because he didn’t think my son would get approved for financing. He said he wasn’t about to waste his time on us when someone else could drive in and he could lose a sale while spending time with us. He was rude, arrogant, and completely oblivious to what active military means. He asked my son if he had a job?!? Yes, active military. He ended the whole ugly ordeal by handing us his business card and told us to look him up when we came back pre-approved. We’re not going back and neither are any of our friends or family.

    I came in for a existing problem the engine light had came on and there were codes of the problem. Second time in with this problem. By the time my appointment time the light would go out. First time they said without a light on there was nothing to fix. This time happened again. I talk with service advisor and told him that I was tied of the car dying all the time and having people honk at me to get going. This advisor said we will get it fixed. And it is fixed. He listen to me and got it done. I will be back to see him when I have problems with my car.

    Bought a new vehicle. Have had 3 appointments for service, every appointment has had an issue. First one they were going to keep my vehicle over night without letting me know when it is a 2 hour drive. 2nd appointment they didn't bother telling me ahead of time it was not covered in bumper to bumper coverage. 3rd one they said they could not find my appointment- even after I showed them the 2 text message confirmations. Told me to take it to the quick lube instead. As soon as I did, received an email my appointment was cancelled.     I was involved in a minor fender bender and chose bob brown to repair my Silverado. Their service upfront was amazing, great communication and easy scheduling. That all changed when I dropped my vehicle off. I dropped my vehicle off on a Monday and was told it would be ready on Friday. On Friday at 2:30 PM I received a call saying it would be done by the following Tuesday, no big deal, I told them I left town on Wednesday and would like to pick my car up before I left. Tuesday rolls around and I hear nothing. I called the dealership repeatedly (leaving voicemails) and get no response. Finally at 4:30 PM (an hour before close) I receive a phone call stating it won’t be ready until the next day. Once I return a snowstorm had occurred 2 days prior and I arrive at the dealership to pick up my vehicle and ask if snow had been cleared and they told me go look and see (it hadn’t). I return and politely ask if it can be cleared and they told me it could, but it would take over a half hour before they could even take my vehicle to their detailing group. I cleared it myself and got on my way. Terrible service once you’ve dropped your vehicle off. Will not be returning or recommending.

However, I got a call from Sanin and he was able to work me in today (Saturday) right at 8am. I received a video update around 9am and saw exactly what needed to be repaired following by the phone call letting me know my vehicle is ready for pick-up.     On Tuesday, I had the most amazing experience! My daughter was driving her Chevy Malibu to work and suddenly the engine light came on and she had no power. She drove into Bob Brown and the manager at the express lube had me take her car up to the service area. He even walked up there to be sure I got the help I needed. Within minutes I was in Sanin Sinanovic's office and he had assessed the problem, and had a solution and committed to have the car fixed the next morning. They had the shuttle ready and I was home within 30 minutes of unexpected car trouble. I wish I also knew the managers name at the quick lube center.     I scheduled an appointment for an oil change. Although I scheduled an appointment, I was sent to quick lube from the service area. From there I had to wait about 45 mins to an hour to even get in to get my oil change, even though I had an appointment scheduled. What's the point of scheduling a service if you still have to wait?

    I have had my truck in for service 3 times in the last 4 weeks. First time it was for a check engine light, which turned out to be a pressure sensor in the fuel tank. Got the truck back everything seemed good. Went to put gas in my truck the next week & suddenly now it keeps shutting off the fuel nozzle which it never had done before until the tank was full. the only way I was able to put fuel in my tank was by holding the nozzle & trickling the fuel in. Also, the fuel gauge stopped working right. Art had me bring in the truck they determined it was the fuel gauge sending unit that bad and they would have to order a new one, so I would have to bring the truck back the following week but the fueling issue was taken care of. Picked up the truck and went the next day to put gas in it & still had the same issue. Called Art & was told the new sending unit would take care of the problem. Not sure how a sending unit has anything to do with the back pressure that trips the fuel nozzle to turn off. So brought the truck in for the 3rd time the following week to get the new fuel pump/ sending unit put in. Art called later in the day to let me know the truck was done, the gauge was working properly and they were able to put 3gls of fuel before the nozzle shut off. Picked up my truck & noticed the fuel gauge said my tank was almost full, which I found surprising, considering my trip odometer said I'd driven 140 miles in the last week & was getting just about 14 miles to the gallon. Well that means my 21gl should be close to half empty, even with the 3 gls put in. SO when I stopped to fuel up & see if the fueling issue was fixed, I was surprised again when the nozzle turned of at 3gls and I'd set the nozzle on the first notch, and usually would use the second notch. I knew it wasn't full, so was able to trickle in another 4 gls and pretty sure it still isn't full. So to sum things up, 1 problem was fixed and now 2 more exist that weren't there before the truck was brought in the 1st time. Usually the service I have gotten in the past has been great, but lately not so much. Right now I can't be sure how full of gas my truck is and have issues just getting the gas into it. I have been a customer of Bob Brown since the dealership was on Merle Hay Rd.

    I was very upset when my 2021 Traverse's check engine light came on this morning. I called for a service appointment and the service center was scheduling about 10 days out. Service Advisor, Sanin Sinanovic went out of his way to make time for my repair the same day. I received a video update from the technician describing the issue. What started out as a bad day was turned around by great service!

    Another company told us. Our timing chain was going out in our 2015 Chevy Traverse and brought it Bob Brown Chevy to get it fixed. Sanin Sinanovic, a Service Advisor, told us that he didn't believe that was the problem. We dropped our vehicle off at the Service department for a diagnostic, and Sanin was correct, and it was just a plastic piece that was making the rattle and not the timing chain like we were told by another place that we took it for the first diagnostic test on our Chevy Traverse. He saved us $3,000 by being honest with what was wrong with our vehicle.

    I had an appointment to have my car serviced today, 05/18/22. I was not looking forward to the appointment as it is never a good time to find out what the issue might be and cost to remedy it. I pulled in for my appointment and was greeted by service advisor, Sanin Sinanovic. He smiled and welcomed me and put me at ease immediately. He was so friendly and communicated exactly the process that was going to occur. He communicated thoroughly throughout the process. I had all the necessary information to feel confident in the decision to go forward with the recommended repairs. If I had an opening at my company I would of recruited Sanin to work for me.     I’ve been in contact with dealership about a vehicle over the weekend. I was headed there from Omaha to purchase it and half way there they call saying it was sold. An hour away from there and they couldn’t hold on until I got there. Horrible customer service do not recommend if you are coming in from another city or state.

    Developed a growling sound when operating the vehicle. Set up an appointment. Took car in. Mechanic said he couldn't here the sound. I went with mechanic and immediately the sound developed. Mechanic said it was the exhaust. Was told that the sound came from a valve in the exhaust system. $220 dollars later was told by Art that there was another sound. Not true. Same sound. The valve did not fix the situation. Still have a noisy ride, especially in cold weather.

    Lucky I'm even giving it one star. Actually I'm only going to give it 0.5 out of 5. I was going in to look at a vehicle. I liked it...but I needed to place a hold on the vehicle. So I gave them my card information and they were going to place a hold of $500 on the vehicle...they never took it off the market and kept threatening me to sell it when I already had a hold on it. Very unprofessional salesman too he kept arguing with me about details on the vehicle and what we had discussed, it was just very unprofessional and a waste of my time. Also, sales guy was pushy I just told him to sell it....that week I was waiting for my truck to sell but deal fell thru, that's why I had this on hold so I had something. They weren't prepared either, when I went in to do paperwork after I had set up an appointment they had it locked it a room somewhere. Communication was non existent.. plus they never gave me a precise figure on my payment they just said they got under the amount I wanted...If your time is valuable to you DO NOT waste it here. I've been to a lot of dealerships in past Bur this was probably one of my worst experiences. To top it off i ended up buying other vehicle with same equipment..same vehicle..one year older and like 22,000 miles less and the vehicle was 500$ cheaper at this particular dealership...explain why ???? I'll never do business here and I wouldn't recommend anyone to this place to anyone I know. Thanks have a great day

    I contacted our local dealership because i had an issue with my Impala. I was getting messages on my dashboard saying that the car was having trouble cooling the engine. I contacted my dealership to see about an appointment because i could not drive it without causing further damage. i was told the next appointment would be about 4 business days out. I explained to them that we had had a very tragic family emergency and they said we could come in the next morning and talk to Steve Eastman, a service advisor at Bob Brown. We came in the next morning and just asked if they could do diagnostics on the car and let us know if there was anything they could do for us. Steve immediately pulled up the info on our car and extended warranty and said he would see what he could do. He called me about an hour and a half after we got home and said they knew what the problem was and he had contacted the company that had the warranty. He had the service department fix our car and we were able to pick it up by 12:30 that afternoon. He gave us outanding service and was very gracious. We thank him for his commitment to his cusomers and his understanding. Thank you for helping us during a very stressful time.

    Recently had my oil change done here in my Yukon and the service was good so I decided to bring my Hyundai in for an oil change. After waiting an hour and a half, I was told they may have to order the parts. After confirming they had the filter in stock, they tell me it would cost an additional $20-$30, so $80-$90 for my 2.0 oil change. I said no thanks. I’ll go elsewhere. I think a good shop would have told me at some point while I waited.

    Great Update. Less happy. We asked about gap control on cruise control and adjusting mirrors when setting memory seats and we were told yes vehicles has them. Once we bought they showed us how stuff worked and both those things were in training and how to do it. Once we got home realized they did not work. Took back and we were told they didn’t know why they did not work but they would have to have vehicle all day to fix. We were there about an hour. We decided to take in for work at dealer closer to home. This new dealership took only 35 minutes to figure out car is not equipped with those options. So not only did Browns lead us to believe we had options we did not get but they did not really try to figure out why. Pretty annoyed and disappointed that we spent all this money and did not get options you typically get on much less expensive vehicles!

    Okay, I think it is wrong that you charge the sticker price. You like all car dealers are taking advantage of the pandemic. I was told long ago that a good deal is when both sides feel they were treated fairly and not taken advantage of. This is only the second time in my life I have paid sticker price. I guess I should be happy that you were not charging more than the sticker price. I know there is a car shortage and it was my choice to pay the sticker price, so I am not complaining I knew what I was getting and that buying at this time I would pay more than it is worth. I would not have said anything but your survey wanted a comment like you are good guys you did me a great deal and service. Like you really value my business. We both know that is a crock. You are no worse than the other dealers and really no better!! You even shorted me on my trade-in. So I guess change this survey, so you do not have to hear at least my real feeling on my recent car puschase. I do like the car. So I changed your ratings from a 10 to a 5 and 5 star to a 3 star. Just as good as all the other dealers. I would be amazed if this ever is published.

    I was in a car accident which resulted in having to purchase a replacement vehicle. I had visited numerous websites and dealerships to find a car that made it even more stressful, but then I was connected to Gabby! Her follow-up was great - she let me know about all of my vehicle options and kept me up to date about the status of the car that I wanted that was not immediately available for a test drive or sale. While I looked for other cars out of necessity, I really wanted a sale to be credited to Gabby because I was impressed with her professionalism, friendliness, and knowledge about the cars on the lot. I was also impressed with Deanne who helped with the financing part of the purchase. Bob Brown Cheverolet has two terrific team members. I had one unpleasant experience with a salesperson at another dealership who was rude, pushy, and kind of mean...contrasted with my experience at Bob Brown Chevrolet, it was night and day.     Scheduled an appointment for an oil change online. Arrived to service center and was told that I had to go to the Quick Lube center for that service. What they failed to tell me was that the Quick Lube takes first-come-first-serve. So despite having scheduled an appointment for 11:30, I had to wait 35 minutes to get in. This is not a reflection of the Quick Lube center - they were great, efficient and performed the service well. The main service center person who sent me there was in the wrong.

    When I bought my car there were two issues that need addressed 1. The door lock knob was missing. 2. The the drivers front drivers side tire pressure sensor was out. I was told the service department would contact me to schedule repairs in a day or so. After a week I had not heard anything so I contacted them. They knew nothing about it. We scheduled a appointment and was told the parts were in stock. I dropped off the car then ran some errands. After 5 1/2 hours I returned and they were just getting started on the door. After another 1/2 hour they told the part for the door would have to be ordered and the part would be in the following Monday and would I like to schedule another appointment. I decided to wait until after Monday to be sure the part came in. I then called on the following Wednesday and the part was still not in and was asked if I would I like to schedule a appointment for the the following week. I did and the car was finally repaired after a month and two trips to the service department. I understand the ordering of parts and the time to receive them. Whats upsetting is the lack of curtesy shown by never receiving a single call from the service department and that I had to initiate all the conversation. I’m willing to withhold further judgment ( good or bad) until my next service appointment. If the experience is similar I will strongly consider another company for my service work. I will say the second appointment was better than the first and the service technician was much more considerate than the first.

    I took my car due to a recall. Car was returned to me with a dent on the right front bumper. Notes were made by Mr. John and parts were to be ordered. My wife was supposed to be contacted, which never happened. Upon my return to the States, I will be taking Bob Brow to the small claims court, reporting the store to BBB and the state consumer affair division.

    I brought my 2015 siverado in for a rear diff fluid change and a noise in the rear end. I bought this from brown and they have done all the service. Instead of pulling diff cover they just sucked out the old fluid. So no inspection was done. Now 4 months later almost to the day I took to a different shop. The pinion and carrier bearings are shot and need complete overhaul. Metal shavings all over. Not a happy camper about this.
