I brought my Chloe in at 9pm on a Friday night. She had gotten bitten by something and her right eye was swollen shut and the right side of here face. The took her right in. Choke was so hyper and scared and would not calm down. So they came and got me and put me in a room with for her to calm down, which she did almost right away. The doctor and her aide were amazing. You can really feel the love for animals all around that hospital. Chloe is all better now. And I felt the cost was not to bad considering it was a 24/7 hospital. I found it pretty reasonable.

We were able to get in right away when no other emergency vet clinic in a 200 mile radius could see us in less than 6 hours. The vet and techs were super helpful, caring, and efficient. We heard horror stories of emergency vets price gauging, but this specific BluePearl was honest and fair about pricing. I highly recommend this Blue Pearl location. PSA: there ARE porcupines in Door County, WI and they do not want to be friends with pups 😂.

The doctors examined and removed a cyst on the hip of my 9 1/2 Y.O. German Shepherd. They obtained the medical records from my full-time vet and were up to speed on her medical history. Check-in for the exam, and later for the surgery was seamless and my girl felt completely at ease. Surgery went well and she made friends with the staff in post-op recovery. The incision is healing nicely and my girl is not fazed by her experience. I highly recommend Dr. Buback and her care team at Blue Pearl - Glendale!

Stopped by the BluePearl when I was working in Oak Creek, WI with my dog. I noticed her acting strangely and wanted her to be seen as soon as possible. Several local vets and most of my co-workers recommended BluePearl to me. They got her right in and immediately had a recommendation for treatment. They discussed different options and gave me prices for each. I came back a few hours later and she was done. Everyone was super friendly and professional. The building was spotless as well. I would definitely go back.

When my 6 month old Pom-Chi ingested medication we were referred to Blue Pearl by my regular Veterinarian. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the urgent, professional care we received. I would recommend them to everyone who loves their pet.

My regular vet recommended this group over another local emergency clinic. My dog had a very serious emergency condition and she was admitted and had surgery within 4 hours, came out beautifully. The staff was professional, thorough, and I got daily updates by the doctor on call while my girl was staying at the hospital over 4 days. They were also very responsive when I called for updates. I am very impressed and thankful.

Had a great experience at BluePearl! We had been seen by an internal medicine specialist at another vet which took months to get into and I worried my dog would get sicker waiting. Then that doctor left and we couldn't get in for another 4 months. I called BluePearl and was offered a much sooner appointment. My dog is usually tough to get to cooperate because she is scared, shy, and large, but all the staff was very friendly and she seemed to trust them right away. Dr. Wingert was amazing! She explained things so much better than the previous place we went, and really outlined many options that we had especially in the setting of our aging dog. She helped tailor our plan to what worked for us and what we wanted to put our dog through. They write up a super helpful visit summary and email it so you don't forget the whole conversation, because there is often a lot of information. So glad we went to BluePearl and totally recommend them!

All the staff was amazing! I had an emergency with my cat and he is quite feisty around people he is not familiar with. They all were so patient, kind and understanding. They explained everything step by step and helped me with any/all solutions to the problem. I really appreciate all the kindness and help! They even called and did a follow up to see how he was doing. Highly recommended!

My parents brought their dog in last week because he seemed to be in pain and acting very unorthodox. They didn't seem to find anything wrong with him, no overnight care or anything. The next week, after seemingly still in pain, they kept him for a while and found out that he had an aggressive form of cancer. The next day, they called me on my phone, not knowing that I was listed as the primary number on their contact list (I've never actually been in the bluepearl building) to be informed that my dog's appointment was cancelled due to certain reasons. I think that 1. it's unprofessional to verify any sort of contact information whatsoever with a pet owner before calling someone about something so critical, and 2) that it took scheduling 2 appointments with no follow-up to figure out what's wrong with him. On top of all that, the girl I spoke on the phone with was very rude about the whole thing and made it seem like it was my fault that I was a primary contact, then proceeded to tell me to "relay the message" to my parents. I wouldn't trust this place with my pets ever, if I even did. Honestly, the vet clinic on S. Webster is worth the wait. I'd rather drive further for quality vet service than ever give this place my business. ever.

I took my puppy into BluePearl for an emergency and they were absolutely amazing with him! While I did have to wait for a few hours, my dog got care immediately and they treated him wonderfully and gave me multiple updates as I waited. He had to stay the night and I visited with him before I left him… he was excited to see me, but was more excited to be taken back to wherever he was being kept! He had so much fun and was clearly cared for well. The facility was nice, everyone there was so kind, and prices were clearly communicated. I got phone calls about my dog while he stayed and when I came to pick him up I got detailed instructions and information. I’ll be bringing my dog back in a few weeks for a specialist visit, I’m thrilled with the level of care he has received here so far!

I can't say enough nice things about the staff. The vets and vet tech were compassionate, honest, and patient. They spent a lot of time explaining a complicated situation and making me feel like I was their only patient (and I know they were busy.) Thor is home and doing ok. I am grateful for the time the vet tech spent with me in his discharge appointment and so grateful for all the care the team gave him. Thank you!

We brought our 3 1/2 year old golden retriever to see Dr Stepnik for a torn CCL. I am incredibly happy I brought her to this establishment. He diagnosed the problem, described the surgery needed in detail, answered every single question, and laid out a detailed plan. Surgery went extremely smoothly. Our dog is on the mend and very comfortable. The entire staff at BluePearl Pet Hospital will be my go to for any emergency or when we need a specialist. I recommend this hospital to anyone who wants their dog to have the BEST care. Thank you! Our dogs are part of our family and we appreciate you helping us keep them healthy.

I cannot recommend this veterinary hospital enough. I have been here 3 times, one of those being the most difficult any pet parent has to go through; the euthanization of their pet. The staff were thoroughly professional as well as so kind and compassionate. They made a horrible decision as easy as they could. I also have a 17 year old diabetic cat with hyperthyroidism and IBD and countless emails with questions and concerns are answered promptly each and every time. When my old lady needs to go in for her tests they treat her so gently and with the dignity a lady of her age deserves.

I recently took my dog there the day after she was bitten by a dog. She was on antibiotics but developed some swelling and drainage from one of the puncture wounds. They evaluated her, and took her vitals, and said she was ok to wait for her follow up with our vet in the morning. This made me feel much better, and the best part, is they did not charge me.

The folks at Lakeshore Glendale were phenomenal to work with when my Izzy needed emergency care. They explained things well and checked in with me during her stay. They were willing to take her when my local emergency vet wouldn't. Our pets can't talk, so when they are ill, we need to rely on the experts to figure out what is wrong. Even though it was a long drive, I am so thankful to everyone who helped Izzy during her stay. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Izzy thanks you too.

Absolutely wonderful! Unfortunately, I’ve have to take two of my dogs to the ER in the last three years (one for back surgery and one for Achilles’ tendon tear/surgery) and the staff at BluePearl (Lakeshore) were/are absolutely amazing. Dr. Buback performed my current dog’s surgery and Dr. Luginbill has seen him and my former dog for PT. Emergency vet needs are stressful and I am 100% confident my pets will receive the BEST care when I need to take them here. My pup, Ollie, still needs PT and cast changes and they’ve been so helpful and accommodating to our schedule. If you have a pet, put their number in your phone as they should be your first call if you’re ever in need of emergency pet needs!!!

No one wants to take their pet to the ER, but truth is when they get really sick it is always after hours for your local vet. At least that's my experience and my dog owner friends say the same. I had reservations when I learned that the ER I had been so impressed with had changed hands since I'd last been there. Thank goodness the same compassion, expertise and thoughtful care was still in place. Kodi suffers from collapsing trachea and it only get worse with age. I really thought I was going to have to put him down, but thanks to Dr. Schnabel we got to go home together. He is doing much better and we have more time. I opted to talk with am internal medicine specialist and Dr. Wingert took the time to explore promising treatments. She was so willing to work with us. From the front desk to the vet techs, to the doctors, everyone was attentive and caring. Oak Creek is not the nearest ER to me, but I would not go anywhere else in an emergency. Thanks to all their caring staff.

The staff at the Oak Creek location was fantastic once again helping our "reactive / fearful" dog get through an already stressful and traumatic experience for him. We fortunately were very familiar with this facility as they helped save the life of one of our former pets a few years ago and it was great to see that many of the same folk still there and treating the animals as if they are their own.

We made the decision to take our pet to the oncology and radiation specialists at Lakeshore because they have the best equipment and care. Everyone that we worked with was compassionate and treated our dog like their own. They walked us through all of steps of the treatment plan and followed up with us promptly during and after treatments.

We had to bring our pups into BluePearl a week ago. Our experience was great. The staff members were super helpful when we first called and they got them in right away. I was informed every step of the way on what was happening. There was even a follow up call the following day checking in. We appreciated the communication and overall professionalism shown to us and our fur babies.

My cat Mouse (18 1/2 years of age) had a stroke so we rushed over there and within a few minutes the vet technician came into q room with us to evaluate options. He was dying so we chose euthanasia. They were very supportive and friendly. They took us to the euthanasia room with Mouse and gave us the time we needed to say goodbye. The vet who came in was very friendly and supportive. We chose partitioned cremation. A few days later they called us to make sure we were okay. They sent us a letter in the mail after we picked up Mouses ashes. Very friendly, professional and will return if any of my pets need emergency care!

Had very disappointing experiences lately, but Blue Pearl restored my faith! They are not close to me but a friend recommended them, and I was glad I drove across town!!! They actually let you inside with a mask ( RARE TODAY) they listened, they cared, they took necessary steps and offered money saving options when possible. A very caring staff that went beyond the average to care for your pet! I wish they would add regular wellness visits, they were so fair and helpful!!

We were so impressed with Blue Pearl-the staff members are so kind and caring. We were there on a week night that was quite busy, so we had to wait for our procedure for our cat-but that was to be expected due to the large amount of pets being brought in for care. The veterinarians and the vet techs were very thorough and explained everything to us. The front office staff were also very knowledgeable and answered all the questions we had about our estimate/bill. My vet is the one who recommended Blue Pearl because of their care and communication-and I can see why she likes them!

My recent visit to BluePearl Glendale was wonderful. Everyone there did an amazing job. My dog has a quite complicated case and history and I think Dr. Stepnick did an amazing job. He did a physical exam that was excellent. He explained everything thoroughly and answered all of my questions. I think the fact that he was a surgeon and was honest enough to explain how surgery could not help in this situation says quite a bit about him and his experience and honesty. I felt such a sense of relief after speaking with him and learning all of the options as well as getting a proper diagnosis. I will definitely go back in the future.

We brought our dog to Blue Pearl for a second opinion on the ongoing health problems our black lab was having. We were very happy with Dr. Allie as well as the staff there. Dr. Allie spent a lot of time with us in consultation taking the time to listen to our concerns and working with us to try to find a solution. After our appointment we were e-mailed an After Visit Summary of what we discussed and her recommendations. I would highly recommend taking your pet there .

My elderly dog needed surgery and my vet wanted a dedicated surgeon, due to his age & health. We were recommended to BluePearl from the UW Vet Hospital in Madison - to get him an appointment sooner than they could provide. I'm so happy we ended up at Blue Pearl. Dr. Stepnik & the entire staff were kind and communicative, and also pragmatic about options. I felt very comfortable putting my dog in their care. They were flexible about followup with my own vet but have still kept in touch. I would definitely recommend Blue Pearl Glendale!

We had a great Experience with the Oak Creek locations. From Check in to Surgery and all the way to the follow up appointment. Check in was easy and painless. They explain everything in great detail and prepared us for what was to come. Dr. Kroner was amazing calling us before surgery to updated us on the time line and how our dog was doing. He then called after to inform us how well everything went. The next Morning we received an updated call and set up a pick up time. Sarah was outstanding as well she cover all the information needed in great detail. She was also super helpful with my questions. Our dog had double ACL repair and we could not have been happier with everyone we worked with. We live 40 mins away from this location and I am happy to make this drive whenever needed to work with this friendly staff. Thank you ALL

I was so impressed with everyone at this location. Everyone-front desk, techs, Dr. Byl himself- was wonderful. My million and one questions were patiently answered, and a successful procedure/test was performed. We were kept informed and our dog felt comfortable around everyone in a not so fun situation. We left with detailed next steps. Hope we don't have to return, but we were so pleased with the team and instantly trusted them.

Best emergency vet for exotic animals! After my visit to the BluePearl in Green Bay with my rabbit, I was hesitant to ever go to a BluePearl again. However, my hamster got sick while I was in Milwaukee for school and because they are separate from the Green Bay location, I gave them a try. This was by far the best experience I have had at an emergency vet and even though the odds were stacked against my little boy, he pulled through because of the amazing staff here! We have 3 rabbits and 3 hamsters back home and plan on driving the two hours whenever we need emergency care for any of them!

Excellent. Not only did they take wonderful care of my 16 year old beloved dog, they took excellent care of me (I was frazzled and quite the mess). They saved her without doing an expensive surgery and kept me well- informed with kindness and great consideration. The whole staff from beginning to end should be commended and thanked.

This group handled the entire process professionally and compassionately, and informed me every step of the way with a vet tech meeting or phone call with the vet. Our dog is older and always seems to have health issues on weekends or late afternoon. I call and alert them to my arrival. Once there, we are immediately escorted in and the dog is whisked away while a vet tech obtains the information. We have had lameness examined, shortness of breath analyzed, and an endoscopy done and every visit is exemplary. We love having this facility we can trust to take great care of our pet.

Our little Pom-Chi became very ill very suddenly one evening a few weeks ago. Naturally we were frantic with worry. I called Lakeshore Emergency Veterinary Specialists and they told us to br ing him right in. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel comfortable and confident that our pet was being given the best of care. The techniains and veteranarians kept up isformed of what they were doing and their findings. Fortunately, they found nothing serious and we were able to take him home with just some probiotics. As I stepped to the desk to pay the bill, I got another pleasant surprise, the fees were much less than I expected based on what we have been paying at our regular vet. We highly recommend Lakeshore for their quality care and reasonable cost. We will definitely return.

My 11 year-old mixed breed dog "Zeva" blew out her CCL about three days into 2022, while having a typical attack of zoomies through the house. Finding an ortho vet in SE Wisconsin isn't an easy task, but we were lucky, when we saw Dr. Amy Ragoschke at Community Veterinary Clinic for Zeva's initial diagnosis, that she recommended Dr. Kevin Kroner a veterinary orthopedic specialtist at BluePearl Oak Creek. I called BluePearl right away, and there was a daunting lead time before we could see Dr. Kroner - but after calling around to other specialty hospitals within a reasonable distance, I didn't find anyone who could see us sooner. So, I booked the appointment with Dr. Kroner at BluePearl Oak Creek, and I am so glad I did. The facility is really nice, clean and easy to find on 27th Street and Ryan Road. Big parking lot, grassy areas for last minute potty stops (for the pets! LOL) and a waiting room with about 100 places to sit - social distancing for COVID precautions or for reactive dogs is not a problem. The receptionists are efficient and nice, and helped us every step of the way. Their technical staff are knowledgeable and thorough - they supplied us with virtually everything we needed, exactly when we needed it. Meeting with Dr. Kroner was awesome! He was friendly, communicated very well, explained everything thoroughly, listened to me, and was really likable. It was only a couple days for Zeva to get on the surgery schedule - which totally made up for the wait to get the initial consultation. Dr. Kroner gave me all the details of Zeva's surgical aftercare, options for rehab - all conveniently located at the same BluePearl facility. Surgery went very well, I was kept well informed at all times, and within a day of her very successful CCL, and meniscus repair (uncovered during surgery as a second problem), my little one was having a rehab evaluation by another amazing specialty veterinarian, Dr. Lerin Rives. Dr. Rives was our touchstone for many subsequent visits. She runs the rehab department at BluePearl Oak Creek, along with her amazing assistant Courtney. This team has a skillset that rivals Batman and Robin! Acupuncture, laser, underwater treadmill, massage, and other amazing therapies are all available inside the BluePearl facility. I was given undivided attention for my questions and educated in at-home techniques to help build back the strength and endurance that Zeva enjoyed before her injury. The journey was made easier by the compassion and wealth of knowledge generously shared with me - and I always felt Zeva and I were well cared for. The rehab department even offers discount programs for clients like Zeva and I who want and need multiple water treadmill visits. After about 3 months Zeva graduated from rehab, got a wonderful birthday photo and celebration with her favorite rehab team, and is enjoying her best life with lots of long walks alongside her "brother" DiNozzo, and occasionally zoomies free of pain and lameness. Her recovery is complete, thanks to Drs. Kroner and Rives, our super-friend Courtney, and all the wonderful clerical, technical, and support staff at BluePearl Oak Creek. Would I recommend them? YOU BETCHA!!!!

Wonderful staff and great care! I felt cared for when I called for an appointment. I was so nervous and upset because I have had pets all my life but, now I had a dog with Mast Cell Tumors. What did that mean for her future. Dr Rachel took the time to talk to me about treatment and any questions I may have. I'm still concerned about the out come but, I know she is in the best place possible! Thank you Dr Rachel and staff @ BluePearl!!

We saw a specialist at Blue Pearl and were very impressed at the time the staff spent with us explaining the likely conditions and providing options for next steps with pros and cons for each. Pricing was reasonable especially for the level of care. Will definitely go back when emergency or specialist care is needed again.
