And rolled with all our changes smoothly. Including last minute changes to the contract in the midst of closing! Also, friendly and personable. Very difficult company to deal with! We have sold four properties in the past three years and this is our first time using Blue Ridge (buyers choice). The current property sale is an inheritance. Blue Ridge changed their mindset in who actually owns the property just days before closing (unheard of!), did not communicate scheduled closing time and day to heirs until THE DAY BEFORE closing with some heirs out of state and some with other appointments, customers can expect to be there an hour or more with NO RESTROOMS AVAILABLE.

The folks at Blue Ridge Title and Settlement went over and beyond my expectations in getting a Deed transferred to satisfy Medicaid laws. We needed this done by the end of June before meeting with Smyth County Social Services to complete the Medicaid application for my Mother. Being from out of state, I spoke with several Attorneys in Marion by phone explaining my needs and none of them would commit to the time frame I needed. Just by chance, a person referred me to Blue Ridge Title and Settlement. I called them and explained my needs, they had a few questions and needed to see a couple of documents. I decided it was worth my time to travel. Long story short, they got it done in 48 hours!!!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BLUE RIDGE TITLE and SETTLEMENT not only for timeliness but for knowledge, professionalism, quality and friendliness.

The service was HORRIBLE. We were treated really RUDE and with NO respect. The lady that owns the company was VERY RUDE. She needs to learn to treat her clients with respect and some manners. She needs to realize that the customers are paying for her and the lawyer’s service. We were told that the lawyer was HER lawyer even though we were paying for the service. She also needs to learn real estate laws. We have bought and sold several properties and this is the WORSE service we have ever received. We were OVERCHARGED on fees and paid for fees that the buyer should have been responsible for. We will NEVER use her services ever again and definitely would NOT recommend her. I am editing my review on Blue Ridge Title & Settlement because we just found out we closed/financing on a piece of property that has on insurance on the property that we financed. That was a REQUIREMENT THAT WE MADE CLEAR and we were giving a piece of paper that said that was insurance on the property that we are financing. But now we find out there is NO insurance on the property that we are financing. THIS IS A HORRIBLE COMPANY and should not be allow to operate.

Good people to work with. Particularly the gent who attended me in person was really professional in his manners and procedures. The ladies at the phone need to be a little bit more friendly towards the customers but I guess they'll learn that with the time... ;)
