They treated us greatly. Our representative even got onto the other party about making sure filing is done properly on what is their responsibility. Apparently the other party has had some issues before.

This Place should not be on business they are uncooperative and want you to do the work. I'm selling a property to an individual no realtor I'm disabled and in unsafe condition I must have the proper paperwork to go somewhere else I hope if something happens to me due to this places delay and neglect that my family sues them

Being from out of town to close on a property deal with not the correct documents- equals disaster!! Blount Title seemingly dropped what they were doing to help me out of the jam that I created!! This is a great business- they most certainly care about customer needs!! Thank you Blount Title!

I used Blount Title for the purchase of a property once, but will never do business with them again. There was a severe lack of communication and attention to details by them. I was purchasing a property with cash, no realtor and was in direct contact with the seller. After numerous attempts to find out why it was taking so long to transact the deal, the seller and I were talking and neither of us had been getting responses from the title company. The title company had found an issue with a bill that needed to be paid by the seller's estate, but had not communicated any of this to us. After over a month we finally push enough to get it resolved. They then tell us we'll have to wait another two weeks to do the closing because it was the near the end of the month and they were too busy dealing with closings with mortgages. It ended up taking over two months to do a cash deal because of them. To top it off, their paperwork asked where to mail the title to, noting specifically that it is ONLY in regards to being mailed and not what would be on the deed. I was going to be out of state for the next month and wanted the paperwork sent somewhere I knew someone would be at to receive it. They put that address on the deed, which means I have to pay extra now to change with the county/city. You hire a title company partially because legal documents and paperwork need a detail oriented professional, Blount is definitely not this. To top it all off, it's been 6 months and the title and any other signed paperwork from this transaction has never been mailed to me, to any address (physical or digital). The only way I knew the house was actually mine is because of the kgis system has it available online. Update: It took 10 months for them to mail the paperwork

First class service and obvious why they are the oldest title agency in Blount county. Why use anyone else when you can have the best?
