The glove box was on the floor and filter not put back. Cabin air filter situation could have been handled better. Trailer hitch flap was not resolved. Never got a call as said I would. Overall not a very rewarding experience.

Walked in a couple months ago and they are a typical dealer. Run your credit, tell you to put 6k down, and dont even show you want you want. Lol. They offer poor trade in values. And they do not honor what they preach. They say they are trying to change the world with being the best service. Well mckaig you lied. The commercials actually make you think they will be better. Too bad they don't have the gall you claim they dont put effort into actually helping you get another vehicle, muchless help you out of car you hate. They do not even try, they just ask can you out 6k down? or just come back when you can. How is that helping more? PETERS!!!! actually delivers. Offered about 5k more for my trade in and got me in the car I wanted.

I have always dreamed of owning a new car but never thought i could afford it. My first car was a '98 blazer that had been in the fire service for 14 years and belonged to my mom. I went by McKaigs yesterday just to look, and Tim Pritchett met my mom and I almost immediately. I couldn't look long ascI had to get to work, but he was very understanding. We went back today, talked more, and I ended up picking a bright red one that I seemed to just be drawn to. We talked more about the payments, coverage, and everything else I for think of. He was very patient and explained everything in great detail. Being a first time buyer, I was very nervous but he reassured me on a lot of things. He and his team ended up getting me a very good deal on the car, even with my poor credit, and I couldn't be happier. Had a great experience when we bought our Ford fiesta a few years ago, it was our first car together and our first dealership bought car, just called to ask a question about the title because we moved to MN due to my sister getting Covid. Brandon was very rude and snappy with my husband. Very disappointed as we were just asking due to not knowing how it works. I am confused as to why he was so rude when we were just asking a question. Maybe needs to work on customer service, even just with kids like us.

There definitely seems to be a negative stereotype around car dealerships, but my trip to McKaig could not have gone more pleasantly. My wife & I live in Tyler, but we were glad to make the short drive to Gladewater to visit McKaig because of their excellent reputation in the area. From the moment that we stepped in to the showroom we were treated like family & not just a number or a sale. Every single employee there was courteous & respectful, and went out of their way to be accommodating. When it came time to make a decision on a vehicle we were presented with several different options & there was absolutely no pressure to buy. I am glad to say that my wife is now driving a brand new 2019 Buick Encore thanks to the folks at McKaig! I'm proud to be a member of the McKaig family.

Summur kept me in the loop regarding their inventory and I decided to take a trip from Gilmer to get my eyes on theses cars. Ray, Freddie, Brandon...everyone here is straight forward, hard working, honest and accommodating. They go above and beyond. We decided it was time to update my vehicle, after the last couple months and a few dealerships I am glad we held off and came here. They acknowledged me and not just my husband, they didn't brush me off when I said I wanted used, and gave them my budget goals. They worked with us and we found the right fit, used my trade in and set things up. They explained everything, nothing hidden and made an IOU sheet with things they were willing to do since it was getting late, like come back for a detail and to fix a cosmetic issue. They would not stand for less than 150% effort and product. I left my Marine Corps Bear that has been in my car window for years and they rescued it and made sure I got him back and more than that, when we returned to get it....they remembered our names! We were not just a sale, a #, a goal......They are really on top of it there! Smaller, but mighty dealership that does it right!

Said my exhaust pipe was broken and they said they called the warranty place and said they would not cover it. Called Patterson Chevrolet in Kilgore. They called the warranty place and they said they never called and it was covered. Patterson saved me $600.

The check engine light lit up on my 2019 buick encore. I called Mckaig where i purchased the vehicle and spoke with Mariela Hernandez and told her the problem and she scheduled me an appt to bring my car in. She was very helpful and friendly over the phone. When I arrived for the appt and spoke with her she again was very friendly and helpful.She took my car into the service area for the technician to evaluate and fix the issue. After the technician evaluated the problem she spoke with me and informed me of the problem and told me politely that it would not be covered under warranty due to the fact that it appeared someone at the place i last had the oil changed several months earlier had done something to the mass air flow sensor and that was the problem and GM would not cover that under the warranty. When i explained to her that no one had done anything to the mass airflow sensor to the best of my knowledge and that the only thing that had been done was I changed the air filter the previous week but did not touch the sensor. She told me the technician said the sensor was not even plugged in. I explained to her that the sensor was intact after i changed the filter and after that had checked the oil level and the sensor was intact then. I also spoke with Patrick Evans the other service advisor and he was very friendly and helpful as well. Ms.Hernandez contacted the service manager Jeremy Schumacher and explained the situation to him and what was going on and he was very friendly as well and helpful. He waived the fee that i was going to have to pay for the service after talking with him and took care of the situation immediately. I have always been extremely satisfied with McKaig since purchasing my vehicle in 2019. The sales staff especially Dennis Smith worked tirelessly as well as the finance dept and Brandon McCloskey to help me with my purchase and service on my vehicle. I highly recommend MCKaig and all its staff for meeting a person's vehicle needs in every way. I would definitely purchase another vehicle from them when and if the time comes to repeat the process. They are truly wonderful people there Thank you everyone especially Mariela, Patrick, and Jeremy for a great customer experience.

3 times I have called for service on my vehicle. 2 times for my free oil change they keep calling and asking when we were going to use it (I have had my new car almost a year now) and today, I called because I am having issues with the door locks...it was going to be over 3 weeks before the could get me in...I have never had issues of getting my car into the dealership I bought it from....until now ..since this will be warranty work, I'm sure I can take it to any Buick dealership

Dealership was great, cost very reasonable. My gripe is the design of the vehicle. Why make it so people can't change a freaking headlamp without going to a repair shop? We were out of town when the light went out and couldn't get it replaced until we got home. That meant some driving at night with only one headlight. Should have been able to replace it on the road with only a few simple tools in just a few minutes. That's a safety issue! Designers and engineers need to think of these type issues!

Adrian, our sales associate, was very knowledgeable in the vehicle that I purchased. The purchasing process went very smoothly. It didn’t take long for being Memorial Day. I’ll strongly consider buying from Bill Dickason Chevrolet in the distant future.

Recently had an ac compressor and dryer changed on my mustang (5.0 coyote). Ford dealership was too busy to accommodate me so I went here. Labor cost is $135 an hour. Because I don't replace the entire system estimated to be 9.4 hours work the labor was not warrantied. Labor cost ended up being $800+. Outrageous yes but the ac now works. This facility also has a $60 diagnostic fee so be sure to bring your wallet.

I had been to several other dealerships before coming here. I was nervous because the other places I went to fell through every time. This team was excellent and patient with me. Kyree Lewis was my salesperson and he did an amazing job. I will definitely be coming back.

I had my car diagnosed. It would start sometime and sometime it wouldn't. I replaced the fuel pump already. It continued doing the same thing. They told me it was the fuel pump again. I went to pick up the car the battery was completely dead, my car was not even locked. I told them the battery was dead, they told me it wouldn't start because of the fuel pump. I said that has nothing to do with the light or ignition not even coming on. They finally came out to check it. Of course it wouldn't start at that time. I had to take my battery and charge it at home to get my car home. They should have charged the battery. There was nothing wrong with the battery when I took it in. I have been driving this car with this problem for a couple of months now trying different things to fix it. If the car starts it runs fine. I have only had problems cranking it. The mechanic told me the car died on him when he was parking it. I told him it hasn't done that to me in all that time. He more/less called me a liar. I will probably NEVER come back to Mckaig Chevrolet.

My car had issues with the air conditioner and I took it to McKaig for warranty work. They were very helpful in getting a loaner vehicle while my car was being fixed and they went above and beyond for me. Chris, the service manager, was in contact with me quite often and kept me updated on the status of my vehicle. I appreciate their willingness to work with me by loaning me a car since I was without my car for over a month (no fault of theirs...they were waiting on parts that couldn't be found in the country). Even after the work was completed, McKaig helped me by setting an appointment and taking my car to get after market leather. I would definitely recommend using McKaig for your vehicle needs.

Edit: I just took my 17' Chevrolet 1500 HC in for a shudder while driving. Tyler in service listened to my description and asked great questions. We went for a test drive so he could better diagnose the issue. I have now picked it up, and the shudder is gone. Mariela got me into a loaner unit and took care of all the paper work while they worked on my pu. When I came to pick it up, It was fully explained what they completed to resolve the issue and all my questions were answered. This was covered under warranty, but I felt well taken care of. We went to just look and get ideals of what the prices and and mileage of cars we could afford. We knew we were not interested in purchasing a new car just not in the price range of what we wanted to pay. We met Ray, salesman, he was extremely helpful and best of all he listened to what we wanted and did not try to push us into buying more than we could afford. Normally my experience here is good, however, this trip was far below my expectations. I had requested my Bluetooth be check out during my service visit and this was overlooked. It says on my receipt that they needed more time and to make an appointment at the main shop, but the tech that was to look at it was not told about it until I was about to leave and asked about it. The tech then came outside to have a look and said he needed several more minutes to check it out. I didn't have several more minutes at that time, so he made some suggestions for me to try on my own. It also says on my receipt that I have an oil leak and I declined maintenance/repair. I DID NOT decline, I was not told about this. I had to find it on my own when I later looked at the receipt. I didn't think I needed to study the 27 point free inspection to discover if I had any further maintenance issues, I would think these issues would be pointed out to me. I drive from Grand Saline to have my service performed where I bought the car, however, this experience has me reconsidering whether it is worth the trip anymore.

I had a twelve o'clock appointment to have my car serviced. I called to see if I could get it in earlier. Talked with Mariela, the service manager. She told me to come on in. I was in and out in no time. My oil, filter changed, tires rotated and a twenty seven point check performed. Mariela was kind, courteous, and very effective. She was pleasant and very helpful.

had an exceptional experience at McKaig Chevrolet Buick. I mainly worked with Freddie Tomlinson, General Solution Manager, and Dennis Smith, Customer Salesperson. I ordered an all electric Chevrolet Bolt, a very difficult vehicle to get in the south, with limited production. I live in Louisiana but had to go to Texas to purchase my Bolt. While I waited for my new 2019 Bolt, they provided me with a lovely Chevy Volt to drive. Freddie and Dennis worked with Chevrolet and got me one of the first new 2019 Bolts made. It is a wonderful car, custom ordered with all my requested options, that will not be putting exhaust into the environment. My experience with McKaig was so much superior than the previous dealerships I used to get two former all electric vehicles from a different car company. McKaig gives you personal authentic truthful attention. I admired that they have the foresight to be interested in selling the new electric vehicles and did what was necessary to be able to sell them. I felt they cared about helping me get the car I wanted. They treat customers like individuals, not like a cog in a wheel. I give them 5 stars and am thankful to have found them for my dealership.

Spent more than a month, shuffled from one person to another with NO COMMUNICATION between anyone. Traveled back from work in Kansas and still no car because they can't or won't offer me the same deal we discussed prior to coming down. I was clear what i needed and ended up dealing with 7 different people. I came in thinking they would get me the 3 yr old car with 40k miles and 1800 down payment.....get here and they offered me 7 yr old car with 102k miles for 3x the down payment. After being jerked around for 3 days I am forced to buy a last minute plane ticket to get back to work out of state. Sorry i spent the time and money to get here for nothing. Total waste of time

I went into McKaig after doing research on the internet of a pickup that i thought was going to be in my best interest. When arriving at the dealership I was welcomed by a very friendly female named Annette Preston. She took me around the entire dealership explaining features and benefits of all the vehicles on the lot. After a good period of time, and her really breaking down the whole culture of McKaig and their policy of giving customers the ultimate buying experiences it was apparent to me that I was not at any ordinary dealership. It was brought to my attention that I was dealing with not a sales person ... but a solutions specialist, I was also amazed with the fact that these solution specialist aren't even paid by commission. She was not there to push me into buying just any vehicle, but there to help me figure out what was best for ME!! After hrs of contemplating what to do Annette felt the need for me to go into her manager's office and discuss my questions and concerns that she so openly told me were above her. After sitting yet ANOTHER hour with her manager Floyd Rucks with no interruptions just an open ear ... instead of Floyd persuading me into just purchasing one of their vehicles he consulted me on the many avenues to go in order to help my payment situation on my current truck AND how I could help some of my credit issues. So to sum up my experience at McKaig is very simple. It was one of the most relaxed non pressure experiences at a car dealership ... I went in on edge not knowing which way I was going to go and after my time there I actually walked out not even purchasing a vehicle but full of knowledge of how to handle my current vehicle AND fix some of my credit. I actually feel like left that dealership with two new friends, a kind, knowledgeable, and might I add beautiful solutions specialist named Annette Preston ... and a very no nonsense honest solutions manager named Floyd Rucks.
