Berkshire Bank Manlius Center Rd, East Syracuse

I've been with them since they entered the Syracuse area. As far as checking and savings accounts it's a good deal. The only issue I have is their atms are only free at their few and far between atms.

Terrible bank. Their customer service line keeps you on hold for hours until they feel like picking up the phone. Whatever you do don’t get an auto loan through them. You can’t pay it online and you literally have to walk a check into a branch or mail it.

Bank phone says they open at 8am but they open at 8:30am.Somebody at bank should change the recording when you call.This bank has marginal service.They cater to people with large balances in their accounts.Empower Federal Credit Union is a bank that provides excellent service and opportunity.

Kimberly runs the entire bank. Management does not return return calls. Their credit card company they use to issue cards is incompetent. If you have more than $1000 yo your name, this is not the bank for you.

Great everything! The atmosphere, staff, you name it and they deliver the best banking experience. Are you a business owner like me? If so, you should check out Berkshire Bank and apply for free business checking!

If I could give zero stars I would. I received a letter verifying that the automatic debit that occurs monthly for my mortgage needed to be verified as being “good” and current. So my husband and I signed the letter mailed it back in the envelope provided. A couple of weeks later I get another letter… the same letter… so we signed again and mailed again in the same envelope given … a third letter arrives same request except now threatening to discontinue because they haven’t received our letter… I send that letter back again and now I received that they haven’t heard from us so they will turn off automatic debit and I will have to make the next payment to another address…. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever seen … I pay my mortgage on time and never took a break like others did thru the pandemic and this is what you do … yeah I will be looking to Chase to take over my mortgage since everything else I have is with them Berkshire Hathaway Bank is the worst bank… making Bank of America and Wells Fargo look amazing!

Terrible customer service and poorly managed branch. I waited 20 minutes and no one helped me. There was 1 financial rep in her office with a customer so I understand she was busy but 1 other rep just kept walking in and out of the office and no other financial rep to be seen. This is a very large branch and they apparently can’t employ more than 2 people? There were 3 tellers but only 1 helping people and she told me I had to wait for a rep because she doesn’t even know what PMI is with a mortgage. I left without being helped, called the bank, was put on hold for 10 minutes and then said all representatives are unavailable and brought me to a voicemail for a callback 24-48 hours.

Great service very friendly have had numerous accounts with them including a boat loan nice to have a teller service on Saturday very helpful in a pinch.

This bank is cut throats and none of there representatives on the call center nor the bank are on the same page. When you call the call center they say the branch manager controls the circumstances. Then when you call the branch manager they say the call center controls that. They have no understanding of customer service, In a financial service industry that's a shame.

Everyone at the bank has always been more than helpful. I am a very satisfied customer.
