Bell Title-Mio Deyarmond St, Mio

I used Bell Title every time we needed something done with the property. My father failed to get the warranty deed to the place from the original owner and when he dumped the place on me in a condemned state, I was lost. I had the land contract signed and dated and Lynn drove out of her way to get the signature she needed to continue writing up the Warranty deed. She was fair in price and I really appreciate what she did. I then had to get a quit claim deed to the place and she worked with us to do that. She also showed me what to do to file the appropriate paperwork with at the county courthouse and had everything professional and neat.

We try to use a title company near the property we are purchasing and the realtor selling the property suggested bell title. We got notice of closing with less than 48 hours till closing, when I asked why, I was told that how we do it. Than was told they only do wire transfers, when wire transfers are so dangerous, my realtor doesn’t know these people and I don’t know them. Unless you know these people I would suggest finding another title company.

The real estate agent chose this company due to the listing in the phone book. Closed on property on Sept. 28 2017. Was told the Warranty Deed would be filed and mailed "shortly." As there was a mix-up with signatures with the real estate company, we waited patiently for a month before contacting the office again. At this point we were told the deed had to go to the state ( no mobile nome, cash sale) to be recorded and would be mailed "soon" Called again in November, same answer- "I will find your file and get it to you soon" December's call resulted in the same answer, that there are rules that have to be adhered to, and the paperwork will be sent. It is now into the first week of the New Year, called Bell Title twice today. First call says she will call back. Second call wanted the FILE number- If I had the file number I would not be calling!! I am still waiting on the paperwork. The second call also informed me that " we are allowed 3 months to file titles". Still waiting with no time constraints given.
