I recently sold a home and the buyers used this bank to secure their loan. During the process the home appraisal came in below the agreed purchase price. I reviewed the appraisal as soon as I got it in my hand (the next day) and found several material errors that understated the value of the property. However, Pat from Bell Bank wouldn't listen to any of my concerns. He said that the appraisal had already been reviewed by his bank and the issue wasn't up for discussion any longer. These clerical errors cost me several thousand dollars. It was frustrating to lose this money, but it was more frustrating to not even have a chance to present these issues to the appraiser.
