We all need a good bank. The Bell Bank is a good bank in the classic sense. This is a handsome branch but lacks a drive thru. I would deduct 1/2 star for this deficiency but the actual banking services and staff more than make up for this shortfall. There is easy and free parking in the ramp and I prefer to park on the 2nd level in the spaces reserved for Bell Bank customers.

I had my mortgage here, currently have my car loan here, and everyone has been spectacular. Anytime I go in, the service is always great. Whenever I call, Chris A. has always been a great help!! Would highly recommend Bell Bank for any of your banking needs.

All I can say is wow! My fiancé and I just bought a house and Bell Bank bent over backwards to help us. Conor Hesch & Jennifer Rosenau are a mortgage lending dream team. Conor helped us find and apply for a $15k forgivable downpayment assistance grant, and spent a significant amount of time working with us outside of regular business hours when we were ready to make multiple offers in this crazy housing market. Jennifer structured our loan to help us get a payment we were happy with, and was on the ball to lock in an amazing interest rate! We are so beyond thrilled with the customer service from these two mortgage professionals. I've been with Bell since 2005. They are a great bank. I'd love if they could get a location in the cities that's open as late as their locations in Fargo/Moorhead, but their phone customer service is above and beyond, so it makes up for closing at 5:30. I love the change saver program and automatic refunds for ATM fees (up to a certain # per month).

I have both a mortgage and a home equity line of credit through Bell Bank. I've used them multiple times on mortgages and to refinance. Nothing but professional each and every time.

Our experiences with Bell Bank has been awesome. They are like the local bank that knows you and treats you with great customer service, but has the all of the oomph and resources of much, much larger bank. 5 years ago my boyfriend and I used Bell Bank’s mortgage services to purchase a house. In the past 5 years there have been no issues with the mortgage. However when applying for the mortgage an incident occurred which I still think about occasionally. My boyfriend had filled out all the paperwork with both our information and the pre approval was based on that. I asked our Bell Bank mortgage rep Jeff Ashenbeck if he could also see what I would qualify for on my own. I had the money for the down payment and wanted to explore all options before entering to a 30 year contract with another person. This request was not granted and I really wasn’t given a reason other than I would qualify for less on my own. I should have walked out and found someone who would go through the pre approval process with me as the only borrower. Unfortunately I didn’t and we used Bell Bank mortgage services and I have a pizza cutter with Jeff’s name on it that bothers me every so slightly every time I use it because he failed to provide me the person with money to the buy house a critical service. I would use caution when considering using Bell Bank’s mortgage services and stay away from Jeff Ashenbeck.

Bell Bank is a wonderful place to bank, for both my business and personal needs. They have a friendly staff, all of whom go out of their way to be of assistance. In addition, they have an excellent bill pay system, which gives me complete freedom to run both my business and personal lives from anywhere in the world, while allowing me to be almost completely paperless. I can only gage my experience with bell from the home locations (fargo) but ive been with them for going on what i would think is 4 years and have never had any troubles with them. They are the first bank im happy with and actually like.
