Belgrade State Bank N State St, Desloge

I have been a member of Belgrade state bank for over 20 yrs. Never have I had any problem that they couldn't assist with. They are courteous and very nice. The atmosphere is like a family. I'm very pleased I chose Belgrade State Bank as my bank.

I have been with Belgrade since I was 16. We won't say how many years that is but it's a lot! Haha I always get treated fairly and the staff is constantly going above an beyond for me and my family for services from personal/business banking to business advice to personal loans.

I love Belgrade State Bank! I've been using them for years. They take great care of me and my money!

A few months ago I would have given Belgrade State Bank a 5 Star rating, but... I became and account holder a little over a year ago. When I opened my checking account I was told there were no fees and no minimum balance. However, these terms have changed considerably over the past several months. First off a minimum balance is now required, or your checking account will be closed. If your balance is zero for 30 days your account will be automatically closed. NOW TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE, as of this month they have added a $5 per month / $60 per year statement fee! That's right! The statement the bank is required to provide to you is now being charged to you at a rate of $5 per month / $60 per year! What they are saying is the monthly statement they are required by law to provide to you they are now going to charge you for! Sadly, customer satisfaction no longer seems to apply! A few months ago I would have recommended this bank over any of our local competitors, but now I would say if you are looking to open a checking account compare Unico, US Bank Commerce Bank and First State Bank, not to mention local credit unions, before making a decision. Sadly , as is reflected here, this is the type of business model which no longer considers customer satisfaction. A employee took the time to help me with some of these issues so I have upped the rating to 3 Stars.

I have not had any issues with them. Tellers are courteous and always there to help. The only problem I have is the lobby hours. I really feel the lobby should be open until 6 pm on Friday nights and 8 am to noon on Saturdays.
