I have been your customer for almost a year and I am so satisfied with your service that I’m currently working on transferring all my accounts from other banks to yours. Because it is really great to see that people are not just doing their job but are really professional and eager to help. I have never waited so long to see a teller in my life. And it's not just once, it's every single time. As opposed to a normal bank, when you arrive you have to sign in and sit down in their waiting room. Only one of the tellers are in sight, and it seems the ones who aren't sit there and cruise facebook in between customers because it always takes them at least 5 full minutes before they come out and greet the next person in line. They might think it's nice this way, not having to stand in line waiting. But in reality it just allows the tellers to take their sweet time. On top of that, the tellers have no sense of urgency when there is a long line. They'll sit there and try to sign each customer up for credit cards, car loan, home loan, you name it. All of that adds up when there are five other people waiting in line on their lunch break. I understand wanting to treat your customers right, and give them attention, but there is a time and place for everything. During a rush when someone just wants to get a new debit card is not the time to take 15 minutes with each customer. They need to either hire more employees, or understand that people's time is valuable and adjust the way they do things. I would have given this place one star but once you finally are able to sit down with someone, they're very nice to you. All in all, unless you enjoy sitting in waiting rooms I would recommend finding a different bank.

The complaints about inconvenient parking and occasional long waits to deal with an associate are legitimate although in my experience, overblown. These points are the only reason I didn't rate this branch a 5-star. There is covered parking a 1-min. walk away, so I don't find this a major issue. Waiting times obviously vary, and because there are normally 3 or 4 staff members working, I've only had one instance of a wait over 5 mins. in the 6+ visits I've made here. Once dealing with the staff, my wife and I have had only great service. We've had various types of affairs needing clerk assistance from making overseas wires of funds to simply ensuring that there would be no "hold" on our use of funds deposited via large checks from outside BECU. In all cases, the staff were careful to maintain the security of our accounts and inquire if we needed any other service. We find this branch and BECU in general to be of high quality and whole heartedly recommend it.

I came in here to get a cheque so I can get on payroll at work. I was greeted by Solomiia and she took care of that immediately. Not only did I get what I needed, she even convinced me to upgrade my credit card since I had been with BECU for several years now. She made sure I was well informed before making any decisions. Solomiia is so kind and helpful that I even came in a second day for something else, even though I could've done everything over the phone. I still received great service from Stephanie on my second visit and Solomiia remembered me. If I'm ever in the area and I need help with anything financially related, this is the first place I will consider. These people are perfect examples of what exceptional customer service looks like.

The loan officer was judgmental, snobbish, and generally unprofessional. We completed our paperwork for an auto loan at this location. The loan officer said in an accusing tone that she could tell that we had engaged in credit cleanup. She mocked our jobs by saying that once we get our "situations" together that we should come back for other BECU products. She chastised the owner of the vehicle (who was there for ease of transfer) for some mistakes on his part. A front counter BECU representative walked behind the loan officer several times and laughed when the loan officer made condescending comments about our loan process. We do not understand how the staff at this location could be so unprofessional. We were preapproved online for a BECU auto loan prior to walking into this location. Our credit reports have no negative marks. We are judicious about having correct information on our credit reports, but the implication by the loan officer that we should have negative entries because of the way that we looked, our jobs, or whatever led her to that determination, seems like clear discrimination. Mocking our jobs that were apparently enough to qualify and ultimately complete an auto loan was entirely unprofessional. Further, chastising the owner of the vehicle could have been done far more delicately, if at all. Finally, as the auto loan has now been paid off, we have severed ties with BECU due to this incident.

The Lady who helped me was not friendly at all. Did not introduce her name and ask for mine. Lacked common courtesy. I felt like I was talking to a robot. She just kept a straight face. If she was having a bad day please tell her to not bring it to work. Or if she’s not going to be engaging with customers she should find another job. I’m closing my account because of her. DISAPPOINTING.
