BANKWEST Main St, Rockford

We have a few savings accounts and a safety deposit box here. We have always had great luck with getting in to the box. My daughter really likes to bring her piggy bank money here and they count it and deposit it in her savings account. They are all friendly and helpful. The best story I have is when I was thinking about refinancing my home. My wife and I sat with a mortgage officer and went over 2-3 situations on what we could do. We all decided the best action was to wait until we had a bit more equity in our home before we refinance it. This really shows me that they care about their customers and aren't out to just make money.

We used Elizabeth to get a home mortgage. All I have to say is positive things about her and Bankwest. She was very knowledgeable in giving us all our options and patient as I was usually a little pokey in getting her the correct documents. Elizabeth, you sure made the process easy! Thank you!!

Have been at this bank for 25 yrs. Always very friendly and helpful. And security has always been great.

Just tried to call and get a problem with my account solved, and the lady was very rude and not helpful at all.

Service can sometimes be slow, but workers are very friendly and helpful.

I am very disapointed in the service provided by this bank. I applied for a home equity line of credit that I wanted to do on my cabin that I own outright... but before I applied I researched, asked questions and then I allowed my credit report to be pulled based on the information I was told. After all of that I met the credit requirements for the loan but was denied because I had a mobile cabin home.... I was upset because we talked about this before my credit was pulled and I would have never allowed my credit to be pulled if I was told this from the start...I made it clear I had a mobile home cabin and even sent all of my documents before they pulled credit. So then I agreed to just do the loan on my land that I own outright...and was told my land wasn't worth anything...so I had to then go to the county and have them pull records of the improvements I made to the land in the last year to show that the land was worth 20k. I then get a call at work saying that the VP of the Bank still wants to keep my denial because they dont want to give me the loan because I have a mobile home sitting on the land. At this point I am through the roof frustrated because now its starting to look very shady. I requested the name of the person that denied me as well as the information about not wanting to give me the loan because i have a mobile home on the land...im still waiting to receive this documentation. I just feel the need to warn others because customer service is lacking here and no one should be treated this way.

For the last 2 years I've been coming here for drive up service. Always friendly and willing to help you!

Nice little bank. Staff never seem to be in a hurry. On two occasions I've shown up 5 minutes before closing and didn't leave for 30-45 minutes.

LOVE LOVE LOVE banking here!!! Always take care of us and are super friendly; and I’m a little high maintenance ;-)
