I was incredibly nervous and unknowledgeable as a first time home buyer. Paige Seibert was available many times over the course of our house hunting to help keep us on track with what loan amounts were within our range. She was very quick at turning around letters from the bank to reinforce our offers, and was able to answer all of our questions quickly and accurately. Paige was a very large part of reducing our stress for the overall process by walking us through the paperwork that came in, and explaining what the various parts meant if we found a confusing-worded section.

Our mortgage broker Shachi Bhardwaj was great from day one. She was very responsive and consultative. Our house was a new construction project with approximately 8 months from pre-approval to close. Half way through the process. Shachi called me to lock in my interest rate and I am so glad that she did, because she saved us a lot of money. I was also impressed with the manner that she handled a tense situation during our closing process. She escalated quickly and with transparency. She also offered to be available while on vacation out of the country. I want to acknowledge how easy it is to provide good customer service when there are no issues. Resolving complaints is where the rubber meets the road. Shachi exceeded my expectations and is a very strong factor as to why I will be a repeat customer and refer BankSouth to family and friends.

DC and his team, especially Terri, were amazing! They stayed on the top of everything and made sure the file was ready in advance and not last minute. They kept me posted throughout the whole process and were always available to answer my questions. Working with DC ans Terri was a breeze! Highly recommend!

Bottom line: communication ON POINT, smooth, on time closing. To be completely honest, my initial interaction with Kristy I wasn't impressed. I guess her tone? She sounded like she didn't have time for me, my questions, and like she had a snarky attitude. My realtor got the same impression over the phone. Maybe she's just an intense person and that's what makes her excellent? Or maybe she was just really too busy as it was the COVID housing boom time. I initially started working with other lenders because of this, but kept up with Kristy too to see which I liked best. Via email communication Kristy was the most responsive by a LONGGGGG SHOT!! She answered all questions in depth with an average response time of about 5 MINUTES!!! While others were 24 or 48 hours, if at all. She replied after 5pm, 9pm and even at 3am and on weekends sometimes. Her whole team's response time and communication by email was above and beyond OUTSTANDING! Even when I got automatic emails saying they was taking the day off, they still ended up responding within 5 minutes. When I finally found my home and got to underwriting it was nearly painless. Of all the horror stories I read of the crazy things underwrighters ask for, none of that. It went pretty quickly and closed on time. I felt extremely funny about who I conducted hundreds of thousands of dollars of business with and committed 30 years of my life to, and I couldn't have asked for much better... She also gave me an approval prior to reaching 2 years post bankruptcy. 1st time home buyer - FHA - GA Dream Intrest rate: 2.375% - average market rate around 3-3.25% Credit score: about 660. Prior bankruptcy on record. Closing costs initial disclosure: $9200. Final: $8500. Purchase price: around $200k

As a First time buyer I was completely clueless. But I had Ray Cope and team on my side so it was Amazing. I had many questions and whenever I reached out Ray and Casey responded immediately. They both were very calming and professional. They were simply AMAZING. I WOULD ABSOLUTELY Recommend Ray and team to anyone buying a home. Thank you !!
