Bank of the West S Kinney Rd, Tucson

My wife and I opened two accounts and rented a safe deposit box. Additionally, we were able to help a friend from Mexico that other banks turned down. The staff has been very helpful

I wanted to open an account with a bank close to my residence. I went into Bank of the West and was told that Mary, the only person who could open accounts was on vacation. So I went in about a week or so later with 40 minutes until closing time, large cashiers check in hand, and was told I would have to come back the following morning. I was the only customer in the bank. Mary was sitting at her desk doing nothing, so was a man and a cashier. I reasoned that if this is the kind of service you get before they get your money, lots of luck after they have it. Too bad, its the only bank close to me. I recently moved here from the Seattle area and could not believe the horrible attitude in this small bank.

Went in to open an account but they didn't want to do it half an hour before closing even though the woman I needed to see was right there and there were no other customers. It was Friday, and they made me an appointment for Tuesday. I went home and opened an account online with Chime instead.

Literally the worst branch I’ve ever been in. The new manager is lazy and just plain awful. Glad I’ve found a new bank. If you have the option to go elsewhere I would.

Horrible customer service and rude bankers. Refinancing with another bank ASAP. Don't waste your time here.
