Bank of the West Quebec St, Denver

I attempted to deposit a check from my business ( from another bank as I done many times before) and was told that that they would have to hold my check for two days. When I asked why they said it was because I had less in my account than the check amount.... I've never had this issue before and I was not happy about it. I requested my check back and went to a branch in Aurora where they deposited it with no problems whatsoever. This tells me two things, 1) the decision to "hold" my check was a personal one and not corporate policy. 2) that this was a personal choice made by the teller based on nothing but my physical appearance. I've been with this bank for nearly 20 years and they've been on a downward spiral for a while now. I won't put up with discrimination and I hope you won't either. I highly recommend switching your accounts over to Chase like I've decided to do.

Every bad review on here is spot on. Disorganized, long wait times, ZERO customer service. Their mobile app constantly has issues.....could go on and on but it's not worth my time. BOTW in general is terrible as well. Can never get a hold of a representative when you need one, you either get hung up on, wait for 1+ hour and can never resolve any issues. Save yourself a lot of time, stress and banking headaches. Finally made the change to Chase and it has been a great experience thus far. I held out with this Horrible bank for as long as I could.

Very condescending unprofessional regional manager lady who wears lobsters. Sorry your life is so sad you feel the need to take it out on the same people that keep your job alive

The lobby is closed, they have 1 drive through open, and yet you WILL sit for 20 minutes to 45 every time. Every time. Do yourself a favor and find a different bank. This one is terrible. No customer service and ridiculous wait times. Really what are they doing?

I tried to go to this branch today at 3:00pm to conduct business and only the drive thru is open. I see the tellers sitting at the teller stations. I understand COVID but why is this locations lobby still closed. Maybe this should be reflected on the hours on google so people don't drive all the way there and find out the lobby is closed. Wear a mask if its that important. I have not had the best of luck with Bank Of The West as they are hard to get ahold of and conduct business. I might be looking for a new bank.

Poor people skills, all of the tellers barely speak English when it's needed and don't know anything about the bank or the accounts 😕 that can be handled here at this branch. Not very helpful at all I waited 30mins to be seen and I had a previous set appointment.

Terrible bank and branch. If you love fees, and having your bank screw up charge you money and refuse to reimburse you. Just terrible. I’ve never had worse experiences ever. IF YOU HAVE MONEY IN THIS BANK AND ESPECIALLY THIS BRANCH... PULL IT OUT AND CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT NOW

They will steal your money every month after telling you you have a free acount. Then if you try to close your acount they will try to chage you more money. That is not how a bank should work. A bank should be a place where you can put you money where is is safe is is not safe at this bank. DONT BANK HERE!!!

I would give ZERO stars, but that is not an option. I waited over 20 minutes with no help. There was (1) teller and another woman who kept coming out of an office to lock the door. Obviously they don't want customers. The only thing they could have done to be more rude or complacent would be to tell be to F-off! DO NOT USE THIS BANK!
