Bank of the West E Main St, Cushing

Okay the bank our are ridiculous!! My husband gets off work at 4:00 and gets paid on fridays!! Well guess what the bank closes at 4 so every week we can’t cash our checks or get our money till the following Monday !! I don’t know why they can’t be like normal banks and stay open till 5:30!!

I received a check from a client for contract remodel work. I took the check to a local branch to cash it, yet was told that since I was not an account holder that I would be charged a fee to cash the check. Most banks will cash one of their own checks without a fee, even for non-account holders. I had recently considered opening an account with this bank, since one of it's branches is located so conveniently close to where I do business. However, I have since reconsidered and will not be conducting any business with this bank, and will not be recommending them to any-one else. The fee was only almost seven dollars, which may not seem that much to some people, yet for some-one on a budget, I could've bought a couple of loaves of bread.

It says they close the drive thru at 5 I got there at 4:20 and they are closed.

I like the people that work there. I have been banking there for years. I do not like most of there policy's. There is a charge for everything!!!

Absolute incompetence and ridiculousness on every level. If you are a Bank of the West customer, don’t waste your time with this branch. It’s honestly quicker and easier to drive to OKC than deal with the persistent excuses of why they leave you sitting in the drive up teller lane for 22 minutes while they figure out how to perform a simple transaction

Helping a young man close acct because his mom is clearing his account and leaving fees for him. Hes tried several tikes to close but somehow it doesn't get closed. We learned that if the mom has any recurring payments in the two weeks following trying to close Bank of West re opens the acct. We have tried to call to make appt because this isn't something to do in a drive thru and they gave us the run around and forced us into the drive thru and sit for 30 minutes. They refuse to officially close account. Say hes the primary so hes responsible for the account but won't close the account because the mom keeps making transactions. They refused to give anything that shows proof he closed the acct RUN FROM THIS ACCOUNT!

Don't do it!!! I repeat DO NOT BANK HERE!!!!! They will fee you to do death there's a fee for everything. Then they won't cover things you need covered and sill fee you and then when you get something that's just a couple dollars and your short 50 cents it will let it all go thru instead of prompting you to pay the last 50 cents by cash then they are gonna charge $35 for $2!!!!! Nope I'm done. So now the Money I had transferring into my account almost a week ago finally posted and now since I'm negative I still have no money.... This is a sorry place to do business with. Not to mention transactions aren't posted as they are made my transactions are never in order and I'm talking about debit card transactions show up days later and not even tell you the right day that the transaction was made and then they fine you again....

They want to send a money order for collection, because it says its International, It clears thru a US Bank, I used to work for Bank of West in OKC as a manager and the staff in Cushing OK is worthless!!!!
