Had an issue with my debit card and was frustrated with teller, staff couldn’t separate work from their own personal feelings and closed my account because quote “I wasn’t nice”. Never cursed or yelled just explained my frustrations. No apologizes or even an understanding of my issues, very small town mentality. If you’re going to bank here make sure you never have a problem, they won’t understand.

    Response from the owner

All of the staff here, including the manager, have been helpful and courteous. I have never known Mr. Munozcano to be rude to anyone. That is simply not his personality or way of acting. The bank has provided me with full banking services and the staff is always polite. I had a problem with my debit card because of unauthorized use. Card canceled and new one produced in the bank.

I've been a customer of Bank of Colorado for probably 20-21 years and have always liked everyone that worked for them; until 11-16-17. I was there on business and was joking around with one of the 2 tellers when a older woman came strolling toward me, twirling her glasses in one hand and asked if I needed to speak to a "higher up". I turned to her and said "what"? "No." Then she proceeded to verbally assault and attack me with the utmost rudeness and hostility. She obviously did not know what the situation was and came over looking for a "fight". She not only was an embarrassment to herself, but made the bank look bad by spewing ugliness on a customer. I can't speak for the tellers really, but I got the impression from their downturned eyes and stony silence that they were embarrassed by her verbal onslaught toward me. I did not respond except to just say "yeah" and turned back to the teller and the "higher up" woman strolled back to the other side toward an office.

I used Sarah as my mortgage loan officer for my first time home and she was amazing. She helped find a loan that fit all my needs and budget and then walked me through the whole process so I completely understood it. She is amazing and I highly recommend her.

    Response from the owner

Thank you for recommending us, Marissa! We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us. We look forward to the opportunity to continue to serve you.

I am so glad I switch to Bank of Colorado from a major one about 5 years ago ...they all know my name & vice versa ....it's so personal.. I got a line of credit where the large corporate one would not approve me a line of credit ....that was so helpful! Now it's like dealing with family.... but they keep my money safe until I'm ready to spend it LOL and when I travel.... Dealing with them on the phone always goes smooth and fulfilling!

Plenty of credit unions in the sea. This bank has half wonderful people, a few decent, and the rest ruin the experience. This place has one purpose, to hold my money. Never mind the bank stigma, this place is unpleasant if you have any business to do other than to pull or deposit money. Go elsewhere, my honest opinions on facts I witnessed. Frustrating.

A "lady" manager at this branch apparently missed the customer service class. Greeting or replying to a greeting is not on her agenda... Everyone else is very nice.
