Bank of America (with Drive-thru services) Reviews

Completely unacceptable. Can't reach anyone by phone. Online and locator portal show the branch as open when in fact they are closed. Three times in the past two weeks I drove the hour round trip not to mention fuel costs for my truck only to find the doors locked. Multiple people milling around or sitting in their cars and looking at their phones trying to figure out how to conduct basic banking business. Just a horrible bank. Well Joseph thanks for your response. Unfortunately I don't think you actually read my review. Connecting with your care team online is not what I want to do. All I want to do is find an open branch where I can conduct my business. When the information (at the link you provided and at the branch website) about when various branches are actually open for business is incorrect, conducting business with BOA is very frustrating. I understand that things with BOA are in transition but when one of the largest and wealthiest financial institutions in the country isn't even able to let their customers know when they are open for business something is very wrong.

After months of poor customer service and potential bank transaction errors, my mom asked that I assist her with getting her bank affairs in order. I arived at the Blueberey Crossing location at 930am to assist my elederly and handicap mom with a simple bank account change. My mom needed me to be added to her account to assist with her banking needs. Having heard horror stories and read reviews and seeing the 1.8 star rating I was cautiously optimistic. Since I was traveling from Florida and efficiency was important as my time was limited, I was hopeful that good customer service would prevail, given the special circumstances. I could not have been more wrong. The greeter advised us that we could not be seen until 1130am (2 hours later). She refused to acknowledge the circumstances and instead arrogantly said she could not help us. My mom was visibly upset and despite explaining how important this was to her and how short my time was, my mom was told by another representative that she could not help with our banking needs or appointment, but could assist with a glass of water or a tissue. It was only after they were advised that my mom would be pulling her funds and banking elsewhere were we then told that the entire process could be done via mail!! This after a previous visit by my mom when she was told I needed to be there in person with ID. Clearly customer service and training is absent from the Bank of America team. We look forward to banking elsewhere, where hometown customer service comes first.

Had an appointment today. Showed up an hour early because I was in the area. Good thing I did. There’s a sign on the door that says “temporarily closed”. Don’t allow appoints or better yet don’t show “OPEN” on google if you’re not

This location branch is much too slow. Two maybe 1 teller doing both inside and drive through. Have seen a manager or assistant manager doing drive through . That should not be their job. They should be looking into the business end and working to improve the branch operation , customer, relations, and service.

2 customers were verbally fighting with each-other in the lobby while I was in line waiting for the only teller who was trying to deal with other people. Teller called the blonde manager woman who was in the back office chatting with another employee to come out as he was was by himself and couldn’t leave from behind counter. She did not come out for at least 15 minutes. She was very patronizing. Super rude and a very weird situation. The teller was very nice and trying his hardest to handle everything. 1 star for the teller, sorry you have to work in a place like that. Otherwise it’d be 0 stars if I could.

Drove 40 minutes to this location because I needed a teller. I come in and there's only one teller working and I wait in line for 25 to 30 minutes. Only to be told they don't have the amount of money I need to withdraw and they won't have it for another 3 days. I was under the impression that banks had money in them. I'm going to convince my wife to leave Bank of America for good. Never had good service in the first place, but to then be told I cannot withdraw my own money because they don't have that much there? In a bank? Where there's a room full of money? I'm done with this branch and this company.
Hello Jay, It's disappointing to hear that your experience wasn't at the level you expected. There may be some other options available, including a cashier’s check or a funds transfer. I do not bank with these guys for multiple different reasons. This location every time i go into this branch to cash my check from my job which they bank here . Always find a reason to deny cashing my check. I live in this town so why I can not cash my checks here? Got me going 3 cities over to cash it and I never have a problem at other location. Feels like they are judging me. I understand security but come on every time I feel to attempt this location branch again once again they prove to me they are just fishing to find little things to deny me. It’s very frustrating and I would never bank here ever again and if I have to spread the word trust me I will mainly online.
Hi, We review how we do business on a regular basis, and make changes, when necessary, to ensure that we can provide the best possible protection for our clients’ accounts. Cashing large checks for non-clients is an area where we've enhanced protections for our clients. You can negotiate the check with your financial institution. If you are interested, I would be happy to have someone speak with you about becoming a client, please connect with our Social Media Client Care team on Twitter at https://twitter.com/BofA_Help or Facebook https://www.facebook.com/BankofAmerica. Don't include account numbers or Social Security numbers for security reasons and check to ensure you are using our verified accounts. ^sam

This bank consistently has the least amount of employees it can have at any given time. The lines are always incredibly long and yet the management at this location does not increase the amount of employees working per day to make up for it. It's worth changing banks completely just to avoid this branch.

This branch is closed more than it’s opened you call the number they say find the locator locator tells me that they’re still open for another 20 minutes but they’re closed your hours tell me they’re open today but they’re closed either close the bank branch permanently or get your act together and be open not every transaction can be done at an ATM try to have better customer service will give you a zero if I could
