Bank of America (with Drive-thru services) Pga Blvd, Palm Beach Gardens

I came here Dec 23 2021 to cash a check I received from Geico and had to wait in line for about 30 minutes because only one out of the five or so employees they had working was working the counter. There was eleven customers waiting for service before the line started moving. 20 minutes before closing I finally made it to the counter and their scanner or whatever they use to verify the check wouldn't read it. The manager told me that it was a bad check and wouldn't cash it. He said I have to deposit it into my account where I bank at. I then asked him if he could type the numbers in to verify it and he said he wouldn't do it. I then was embarrassed because I had to walk out of the bank past the other customers with my head down looking like I was trying to cash a fake check before Christmas. Luckily I made it to the PGA and Prosperity location before they closed. They had the same problem with their scanner but they verified the check the good old-fashioned way with their fingertips by typing and I was able to get it cashed.

Jessie helped us send a wire transfer. She was very friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. We really appreciated her time and assistance!

I got there at 3:55pm, just 5 minutes before closing to cash a check. (I had been delayed at another BOA and will elaborate on that later.) Two cashiers were on duty at this branch and were serving the customers in the line at a quick pace. I presented the check with ID and cashier quickly verified all requirements and did so with a very pleasant attitude. Thank you!! There seem to be quite a few negative comments regarding this branch, but everyone here was polite, quick and efficient. I am certain all negative comments were actually referring to the BOA branch that is West of here at the Turnpike where the branch manager refused to cash my check due to incompetence or who knows what. That manager refused to tell the truth or do her job.

Very short staffed, only 2 tellers. I waited in line for 15 minutes with only 3 people in front of me. This happens every time I come to this location.

I made a deposit in the drive thru and was sorting a bunch of one dollar bills from a recent fund raiser we had as the girl walked up to the window (I work for a non-profit). I handed her the cash and checks and a few minutes later she comes back to say my deposit slip didn't match, it was short 20 dollars. She gave me the deposit back to make the correction but it was missing all but three of the $1's. I asked her where the rest of the cash was and she said she didn't know, she would re-check the machine. I ended up going inside and talking to the manager but he was no help. I asked if they could check the cameras and he said no. I know it's only 20 bucks and not the end of the world but I don't know how they could lose money. Anyway I went to gardens PD and filed an incident report...

i’m here to pay rent. on the website it states that they are open til 1pm. it’s 1053am. drive thru is never open and their hours posted online are a lie.

One teller and a line of at least 7 people. That is what you will get here every time.

Horrible experience. Waited 45 mins just to be told they couldn’t help me. I’ll stick with Wells Fargo.

Came in to cash a Bank of America check. They verified the account had funds and refused to cash the check because it wasn't scanning . Then refused to enter the check manually told me the check was good and to take it to my bank. Why on earth would my bank cash a check that the bank on the check would not cash. They were rude and un-helpful Ragu the bank manager scoffed at me and showed no concern to explain to me why they would not cash it. Then closed his office door on my face . So disrespectful so rude terrible customer service. Terrible service

Completely understaffed at all times. Takes 30-45 minutes to do anything. The employees try hard and have a nice demeanor. This is completely managements fault.
