    The negative reviews have been quite kind compared to the problems this branch conveys. I would not call them under staffed - rather mismanaged. I recently experienced the closing prior to posted hours, one teller to handle drive thru and lobby customers at 1.30. Two employees walking around and talking to one another instead of servicing customers, setting appointments for customers who were standing in line to come back to discuss account issues while two employees were available. This branch has NO customer service values! Plenty of other banks in Boone. I suggest you visit another and take your business there. I reported to corporate and hope they take the necessary steps to help the existing customers here.

    I have been coming to this bank for two years and have been experiencing the worst service. Today I have met with the two most wonderful customers service representative Claudia and Heather. Their service were more than a 5 star

    I have to pay a contractor and can't get to the bank by 4 pm tried to call and could not get an answer

    I have been banking with Bank of America since I was in high school (around 2005). I'm quite loyal to the organization, as I've never had any issues at their corporate level. Unfortunately, quality control and consistency lacks when it comes to your customer service experience(s) across various locations. Some are remarkable. Some are not. The Boone location is undoubtedly in the latter camp. I had scheduled a week in advance an appointment with a relationship banker to review/discuss my account and examine options for upgrading some things. He was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and I enjoyed my time talking with him. Unfortunately, the location seemed exceptionally busy or understaffed. My appointment started a bit late, which was certainly not an issue. However--ten minutes into actually talking with my relationship banker, one of his peers rudely stuck her head into his office and "reminded" him that someone else was in the lobby waiting to see him. First of all, I cannot help but point out how unprofessional that is. I had not been meeting with this banker for more than ten minutes. Is my time not valuable? I was appalled that she would do this and apply any sort of pressure to him in front of a customer/client sitting there reviewing their account. Not to mention that this applies pressure to me, the customer. It not only made me feel like my time and needs weren't valuable, but that I needed to hurry. I did not feel comfortable asking questions and seeking more options. Unprofessional doesn't begin to describe this choice that this particular woman made. My second issue with the situation is that even if there was a sense of urgency in needing to get clients in and out, she should have been capable of considering more discreet options. For example, why not call your peer's office phone and just give him a friendly reminder like, "Hey, we've got 15 minutes until close, and someone just came in to see you." Overall, I greatly appreciate the limited, hurried time that I was able to spend speaking with my particular relationship banker. He was wonderful, and I would most definitely call to speak with him again about financial matters. However, I will be hard pressed to ever step physical foot in this Bank of America location again. This was among the worst experiences I've had at any BoA location, and I was left unimpressed by his peer's inability to maintain a professional disposition that promotes client/customer satisfaction.

    Horrible service and error misplacing my $1700 deposit which resulted in lockout of credit card while checking out of Walmart. BIG PROBLEM!!!! Call to customer service found their error but had no way to unfreeze credit card leaving me unable to pay for the cart full of groceries. BANK ELSEWHERE. If I had been at truck stop on interstate to buy luck would have been STRANDED, or at airport to buy plane home ticket, STRANDED, or in foreign country, STRANDED.

    I was going through the worst time of my life and the kind people at this branch were beyond compassionate, patient, and understanding. They helped me with my banking issue, but also restored my faith in people! They genuinely care about their customers and it shows.

    Absolutely horrendous service! After sitting in line for 20 minutes, I arrived at the window and the teller said “Sorry, we’re actually closed!”-In the rudest tone humanly possible- This is after servicing TWO cars in front of me! Furthermore, a bank closing at 4pm on a Friday is ridiculous since the majority of people do not get off work until 5 or later. Many people depend on banks, especially on a Friday (payday). I highly advise against banking with this branch of BOA until they drastically improve their customer service/hours of operation.

    Despite the negative reviews that were left a while ago, I have never had an issue with waiting at this location. My maximum wait has been around 10 minutes, with most of the time no waiting at all. The staff is bright, positive, and fun to talk to. All the managers I've dealt with have been really good people. For me personally, this branch has been one of the best banking experiences.

    Lazy Staff - my friend tried to open a checking account and sign up for a credit card 1/2 hour before Saturday closing time. Boone NC branch staff turned him away ASSUMING he is not worth bothering with. Rude. He's had a Bank of American debit card for 10 years, works full time and is NOT a student. Just looks like one. He went to a Winston Salem/Country Club Rd. location where they signed him up in 10 minutes and advised him on "best practices." Great experience. Young people can't buy without credit. They can't develop credit without a credit card. And they seemingly can't get one --even a long-time customer--- from the disinterested staff in Boone . Shame on you folks.

    30 minute wait to have one piece of paper notarized. There was literally one other customer in the entire building. As a preferred platinum customer, this lack of service ridiculous! I’m guessing this branch will be shut down soon too. What’s the point of having a banking center when you aren’t serving the customers. Sad!
