    Tellers are very rude…I felt extremely uncomfortable and judged. They need some training… or a different job, as always if you don’t want to work at your place of business and need to be rude go somewhere else… clearly they was never taught any basic manners from their own parents or anyone who raised them

    Every single time I feel welcomed! I went to this center last week without an appointment. I was helped by Joanna who offered to call customer service for me instead of telling me to call myself like previous experiences at other locations. She is a really great asset to this company and I hope she never gets moved! I hope this review gets her some type of recognition because this is not the first time she has helped me.     I had 2 tasks - making cashier's check and opening an account for my son on Thursday. Since I didn't know what documentation was needed, I came back again. I happened to see a teller and consultant 2 times. After I opened an account for my son, I was told to deposit money with a teller, which was usually done with consultant with my previous experience. But it's okay anyway. I can do it. While I and my son were standing in the line, the teller that I saw earlier was done ( she handed very heavy coins to a customer before me, maybe she didn't like this particular task or not, I don't know). So I approached to her desk and said "Hi, again". She looked at me "appalled" saying that "I'm not done yet, could you step back where you were?" I said "Sure", but I can't erase her expression even now. Even typical emotionless teller's response for their mundane task would have been better. I don't even expect welcoming smile. The other teller was ready. When I went to her desk, she said, "you were here before" I said, "I just opened my son's account as well, and they don't give me temporary debit card. If I had debit card, I've used machine" She said, "That's okay" The overall experience made me felt I'm very unwelcomed.

    I was helped by the bank manager Chris who made my banking experience very easy. I will definitely be bringing more of my portfolio over. Service goes a long way, ask for him when you come to this branch.

    I have been dealing with BOFA centreville branch for the last five years on my business and personal accounts and I always get the best service especially from Debbie in the customer relationship. She is knowledgeable about all the banks products and always recommends what suit me business requirements, also she always follow up with me to make sure that I got my service done even if it's with another department.

    I am a 34 year customer of Bank of America and a Preferred Rewards Platinum Honors customer. My friend has an account with a bank in Maryland and recently moved into Virginia and wanted a bank closer to her new home. Of course I recommended BoA. Today we went to this branch in Centreville Virginia to open a checking and savings account there. We went without an appointment and after a short wait we were directed to a female representative for assistance. My friend presented her driver's license and a valid U.S. passport for identification. The representative asked her for her Social Security number which she immediately gave to her. After a minute the rep said that she needed to see my friends actual Social Security card. When my friend said that she didn't have it with her the rep said that she would have to get her supervisor. A male supervisor came in and stated that my friend could not open an account without a physical Social Security card. I found this to be outrageous and pointed out that a valid U.S. passport and driver's license is more than enough information to open an account. My friend readily had given them her S.S. number which they could have easily verified. At that point the supervisor acted in a cavalier attitude and said that he might accept my friend to fax them a copy of her card. Keep in mind that the vast majority of people do not carry their S.S. card with them and most people under 40 don't even have one. We were beyond upset at this point and left the center without an account for my friend. We felt that we had been treated very poorly and I was demoralized that I had recommended BoA to my friend. I guess that they didn't need her $30k of business. We are both seniors in our late sixties and obviously we're not trying to pull some nefarious ploy on the bank. On the contrary, she wanted to GIVE them money This entire episode upset us tremendously and made my friend never to want to do business with BoA. I am very embarrassed and disappointed in this treatment and am considering moving my business to another bank. I have reported this treatment to customer service and hope that actions are taken to prevent this from happening to any future customers at this center or at any others.

    When I first saw the line at the teller, I expected to be there a lot longer than I wanted to be. But I was pleasantly surprised with how quick the tellers were able to help everyone and I wasn’t there long at all. Great job!

    Manager was nice but the associate was very LACK OF KNOWLEDGE with his job + rude. He typed in my phone number WRONG also Answered my question with WRONG information. I WASTED MY TIME to call boa customer’s service after coming back from the bank to figure out what is the RIGHT information. 1. Managers should MANAGE ASSOCIATES BETTER so they actually know what they are doing. 2. Associate, if they are unsure with anything, really need to ask the managers or search with their own fingers before telling customers any WRONG INFORMATION

    I’ve been with Bank of America since 2004 and have never had a problem that couldn’t be resolved, almost always to my benefit. I recently visited the Centreville location off Lee Highway. The setup was a little different than I am used to but it didn’t matter. As soon as I started looking around, Fady jumped up to see how he could help me. He was extremely courteous and respectful and was very thorough in ensuring that I understood where I stood and the options available to me. Fady is an example of why I’ve stayed with BoA for 17 years!

    The building is nice but this branch needs to work on providing better customer service. This one teller (middle eastern descent) with the short brown hair needs to learn how to greet customer. She was unfriendly, rude, arrogant and condescending. This branch is the worst one in the area.

    I have been promised a call back from the Assistant Manager multiple times, and I cannot tell you how many times I've had to call them asking for an update because he failed to call me back. The issue with my account has been ongoing for the past 6 weeks or so at this point, and I am really annoyed that I have been dealing with this issue for the past almost 2 years. Their estate email system isn't any better as I've never received a response from them. At a certain point, I was told that they couldn't process something because they didn't have a notarized copy of a document I submitted, and yet, I was never informed of this issue until I, myself went digging and asked for updates on the status of my account. Things could be resolved in a much more timely manner, however, the branch/corporation, or rather everyone involved have failed time and time again to contact me and have not shown any notion of being proactive in helping to resolve issues. What is the point of having people here if they aren't there to help resolve issues with customers? I dont know how they manage to have any members and or why anyone would want to bank with them. I've never had this issue with my other bank. I highly recommend not banking with them if you want a competent and or efficient bank. Never have I ever had to deal with such incompetency.

    Worst customer service the last 3 times I banked here. Always a line and super unfriendly check in host. Do not hold here unless you have a lot of time to spate.no matter if its opening, closing an account or other financial services.

    This branch is continently located right off 29 and 28, a few minutes from 66. Staff there are very friendly and pleasant to work with. The wait there isn’t bad. It is usually a quick in and out there for me.

    Went in with issues on my account, i had to wait a little bit to be serviced because all the bankers were with clients. Once with the banker the lady was very kind! She attentively listened to the problems i was having and helped me resolve everything in one visit!

    Made an appointment regarding my parents' estate, after sadly they both passed away. On the way to the appointment, a bank representative called us and said they had double-booked, and asked if we could come in on a different day. We said no, as this was an urgent matter and we had made the appointment well in advance; they said they would call us back and never did. An hour later we received an email that the appointment had been canceled and that we should reschedule ourselves. We ended up driving straight to Navy Federal in the same area and were welcomed without an appointment and our business handled within 20 minutes. We're now considering switching all of our accounts away from BofA entirely. Avoid this location.
