Bank of America (with Drive-thru ATM) Reviews

WORST branch of bank of america. I came in on a monday 6/27/22 and at first i ask the person who is in the front how long they have holds on checks that get deposited and they tell me that the teller will be the one to find that out and they will let me know depending on my check. Then teller tells me when i deposited my check that it will be partially released within 2 days on 6/29/22 with the funds i needed to help me and the rest will be on the Friday at the end of the week. So i agreed to continue with the deposit and as it turns out these people dont even know what they're talking about because now i have to wait an extra week for my money while i was assured that i would be able to receive even a partial amount. I even called their customer support number and was informed they dont do partial releasea anymore so why doesnt the teller know that. If i was told from the beginning that this would happen i would've found a different way to cash my money or asked for a direct deposit from where i got my check ahead of time to get my money sooner. These guys lie and give you false information because they are either untrained or incompetent to understand what the customers are saying. And worst of all they wasted my time costing me more on bills i need to pay when i was assured the money would come in on a certain time.
We apologize for the experience and appreciate your feedback. We use many factors to determine if a hold will be placed on a deposited item and for how long. Clients can learn more about holds at https://t.co/mIhMGKZX3L . If you have questions about a hold release date, the release details are available through Online and Mobile Banking in the transaction history. Clients can also ask Erica to check their hold details by asking Erica, “Where’s my check deposit?” or by saying, “Deposit hold details.” Please visit us at https://t.co/9PkbMkTGAi for insights on how to avoid deposit holds in the future. If a hold was not originally placed when you deposited the check and we later determine one is necessary, an alert will be sent to the email address or mailing address you’ve provided to us.^ alex

I went here to open a checking account and a new credit card. The Bank Manager professionally greeted me as soon as I walked in, which was very kind and welcoming. Then he introduced me to one of the banking associates that excellently assisted me with all of my goals and banking needs. It was also a great benefit that they were both bi-lingual. I left very happy and can recommend this location to all.

They make you wait outside in cold windy weather because they don’t staff properly.

I came here to close out an old account. I was nervous going in, because I had my 17 month old son with me, who doesn't do well with boring errands. I also wasn't sure if the account had accrued charges, how difficult it would be to close, and how long I would have to wait. To my pleasant surprise, an employee named Michael Friend was waiting to greet me as soon as I walked in. When I explained my problem, he led me straight back to his office. Luckily, my account was not overdrawn, and he immediately set to work with closing it down for me. He did not make me feel guilty or try to sell me on any other accounts or services. He was also patient and friendly with my son, who was growing a little fussy. Because I had a small balance in the account, for a brief moment, it looked like I would have to go stand in the long line to get to the teller window, until Michael suggested just mailing me a check. He was SO helpful, professional, and friendly. I couldn't have had a better experience or gotten out of there faster. I would recommend this branch to anyone, and I would tell them to ask for Michael.

Only 2 tellers and a 35 min line to deposit one check! Do yourself a favor and go to any other branch as this one does not care you have to wait.

Im so tired of Bank Of America. The teller Sandy didn’t even try to help me. Told me there was something wrong with my card and it worked perfectly fine at the ATM. Then she told me I should go use another banking system like Chase Bank to get the money from their machine although it’s a Bank of America card. This is ridiculous. She didn’t care if I accumulated any fees as long as I got out of her hair. I am so done with their lazy employees and terrible customer service. This bank needs to shut down

Absolutely terrible and the slowest service of any Branch I have ever dealt with. You have three ladies standing around asking if you need anything then you have 1 teller?? I dont understand?! Get 2 of you in the booths (which seem to be older and more experienced) and get to work on this line! Literally stood here 35 mins and 4 people were assisted. Someone needed a money order and was super frustrated because the teller was taking like 20 mins for a Money order!! Obviously this needs to be looked into. Nobody likes coming here unless they absolutely have to. That's not how I remember Bank of America used to be. At least not in my neighborhood. This was my 3rd and last time coming here. I rather drive a ways out and just get great fast service at another B of A. Good day.

I was there today 12/14 around 10:40am and 3 gals in the front were helping and the one that helped me was very rude and had me wait since I didn’t have an appointment, all I needed was a replacement card since I have fraud activity in the bank account and I have a replacement coming by mail I explained it needed one only for food and gas for the next few days, they had me waiting and I noticed a family come in applying for a student new card in other words new client for the bank they got helped right away before me, and I was told I need to go to other bank because the system was down for them to issue replacement cards.... and she had contact another branch for me which wasn’t true it was all a lie and I did ended up coming to another location and explained my issues. I was told they have no one by the name of Valerie who said she was helping me but honestly was busy chatting with her coworkers and never contacted another location for me, I saw it too. I had a feeling the moment I walked in the that location, I wouldn’t recommended this location to anyone in front of the Ontario Mills. Your all better of in another BofA office and better Customer Service.

The worst branch I have ever been to. 8 windows and only 1 guy working. The people who work in the box offices are laughing talking about football games instead of trying to help their customers or at least thank us for our patience. Do not come to this branch if you're in a hurry.
