This back has become a very agitating. They are always asking you when you walk in what your business is at the bank. Then wheeeeeen you get to a teller ! They always try and sell you on getting a Credit Card !! Now they Know me.. Because i have belonged to the Bank for about 35 YEARS !! and i have told them that !! And all they are doing is agitating me every time i come there. But they just DON'T SEEM to CARE !!! Wish they would stop doing that. If that is what their intention(s) are (Agitating people) then they are doing a GOOD JOB AT IT !!

not sure what’s everyone’s issue at this branch. the lady who greeted me was very nice but didn’t respond. My bank teller named Cheryl i believe was very rude and inconsiderate. When i asked her for a receipt, she snarkly replied “you can count the money i just gave you” ?? why such need for a remark, i understand that it was super early in the morning but was it necessary? i obviously couldn’t sit there and count 6 different money types with a long line behind me. you work customer service and yet feel the need to be rude? sounds like it’s time for another job cheryl. actually considering switching banks for this very experience. will not return. super rude.

This place is terribly run. BoA is already a horrible place to bank but this place is like a new special hell. It's constantly packed out the door and they always seem to have only one teller on. Do yourselves a favor and either bank somewhere else entirely or skip this particular location. If I could give zero stars I would.

We went for the first time to this branch to deposit a paycheck and found out AFTER we left (from a notification) that there would be a hold for 2 weeks. Never has this happened at another BOA branch or through mobile. Customer service? Not helpful. At all. I say avoid this branch at all cost and go to Mothership for some deliciousness and make a mobile deposit. Or listen to your wife and switch banks.

The bank manager, Joann, was very nice. The line was long and I was here for 40 minutes and she walked over to each of us on line and ask if she could help.

    Response from the owner

Always hear bad things about this bank but I was in the area so I stopped. Everyone was extremely nice but not helpful at all. I had to cash a check from bank of america, I do not have an account with them, after looking over the check they told me I could not cash a check that was from their bank I had to go back to where I got the check from or my bank(union) why I asked why she didn't really give a reason, so I go to another bank of American and the lady cashed the check no problem, I explained my issue at the main st one and she said they were pretty much being lazy and didn't want to look but a signature from the check. Although they were very nice I will never go back to main st boa , please use boa on newtown rd danbury!!!!!! Extremely nice and helpful!!

I got here and the line of people inside is like 15 people long only 1 teller to handle all the costumers. That is poor customer service.

My appointment was at 2, it is now 2:30 and I still haven't been seen. EVERY time I make a scheduled appointment with the Main St. bank they never fail to see me in a timely manner. There is another client sitting here in the waiting area too. RIDICULOUS . They NEED to bring Jose back. He was a wonderful employee.

Good location but the management is horrendous and I'd recommend the regional manager take a close look at this one - it's bad for the BoA name! I've been to several other BoAs in the area which greatly surpass the level of service provided at the Main Street office: 1.) They have never answered the phone when I've called (the other offices do), and their online appointment calendar appears to be blocked off for months at a time 2.) Their employees appear more interested in gossiping amongst themselves rather than serving customers 3.) Unlike other locations, they do not speak with customers waiting in line to ask how they can help If you need to drive another 10 minutes to reach another location, do it - you'll be glad you did.
