Bank of America (with Drive-thru ATM) Reviews

I've been with Bank of America since 1993. This particular bank has gotten worse over the years with long wait times and rude service. I went in to deposit some cash and also to covert some cash into some rolls of quarters. I asked for a receipt but the teller refused to provide one. I asked again for a receipt but the teller said "I can't deal with this and you need to move on" and told me to move away from the window and wait for a manager. The manager shows up 10 minutes later and says that he'll look into it and tells me to wait. After the long initial wait to see the teller, the wait to see the manager and now another wait for the manager to look into it, I was in the bank for over 45 minutes. If they ran out of ink or was out of paper or the machine broke or the system was down or the teller messed something up...they should just be honest but instead they have you wait. They really don't value your time. I walked out without a receipt and opened an account with Chase. They had a wait time too but 10 minute waits are manageable, not 45 minute ones due to incompetent and rude workers.

I think this bank deserves a medal and a plate of homemade cookies. Their customer service is on point (great), the ATMs are quick and convenient and 90% of the time ...filled with money.😁 The bank tellers are kind , prompt, and efficient: The managers & remaining staff are equally amazing. I would recommend this branch of banks to any and all persons who are looking for SECURITY, TRUST, CONFIDENCE IN MONEY MANAGEMENT , KINDNESS, NON DISCRIMINATING, ANCHORED; AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST... ELOQUENCE, ELEGANCE, & EQUALITY.

I am not a Bank of America customer, but I came in today to withdraw cash from my Capital One 360 checking account. Pretty much all banks allow non-customers to receive a cash advance on a debit card, and since Capital One 360 is an online bank, this is the only way for me to withdraw a large amount of cash. The teller takes my debit card and ID, and starts studying the card. She walks over to another employee and starts whispering. Then, walks back to me and says 'Have you used this before? because your name and card number aren't on it!'. Capital One 360 prints the name and card number on the back, so I politely tell her to flip the card over. 'Oh, I see!' she says. Then, she walks back over to that other employee and they continue whispering for several minutes. As you can imagine, this is not only terribly slow service, but also very embarrassing, because it makes me look like some kind of criminal, when I'm simply trying to withdraw my own money, which is well within the bank's policies. After waiting for several minutes while they whisper, the teller comes back and says 'NOPE. We've never heard of this bank or seen this card before.' and hands it back to me. This branch actually refused to issue a debit card cash advance because they hadn't heard of one of the largest banks in the nation. Very poor service, and laughably dumb employees. I considered asking to speak with a manager, since this was obviously an issue of incompetence, but I decided not to waste my time. For any online bank customers who need to get a cash advance with their debit cards, Chase branches are always very helpful.

I hate to add another negative review, but this is hoping to improve your customer relationship. Just came out from this bank, came in to exchange 35 pcs of 20's to new $100 Bill's. The 1st teller put it in her machine and told me it's just $600, have it back to me. So I count it again and found it's $680.00 so I added another $20 to make it $700. I even handed it to her by 5PCs. She again place it back in her machine and said "Oh, this is just $600.00." She then proceeded to loudly count it individually so people can see it & still end up $600. " then she said "the 1st count was $680 (previously told me $600), now it's just $600." I was surprised, counted it again and for sure it was $700, 35 pcs. When i looked up, she was gone and no teller in any counter. So I asked, " are u guys closed?" Another woman came, placed thw money onher machine and it counted as $700.00. If that 1st teller does not want to help, she should have put a closed sign in her window not grudgingly help, that's bad for Bank of America.

BbBEWARE!! Today 4/2/22 I withdraw some cash from my account at this Bank of America at Foothill Glendora. The teller Amanda did not give me the total amount of money. I’m short $20 dollars. I went to the bank immediately and talk to Ken manager to the bank let him know what happened. When talking to Amanda, Ken and I explained what happened, Amanda requested for me to go take a sit because I was making her nervous and she was going to start the balance. After 10 min waiting I did not see Amanda at her place anymore, she was hidden underneath the counter and she was having a phone conversation of whatever happened. I heard her conversation saying that she felt she did something wrong that Teo days in a row she was over in money when balancing and today she was not short but she did something different taking money to complete my transaction from loose money she had separately. I left my cell phone number because Amanda was taking forever in her phone conversation Instead of working on balancing her money. I just got a phone call from Crystal m, Assistant to Ken saying that Amanda balanced the money and there was nothing else to do. It is so sad for me to find out that this can happen after almost 30 years of loyalty to this bank. Customers BEWARE if this teller Amanda, please count your money before leaving the bank, don’t let people like the above mentioned trick you with your money. Also try to avoid teller Amanda to do transactions that involve cash. Negative experience that I don’t want any go through. DONT TRUST THIS BANK ladies and gentleman, be safe and protect yourselves. Also the hours stated on their front doors don’t match with the time they’re closing. This bank do not care about any of his customers, it is really lack of respect what they are doing to us. Karma will get to you Amanda, Teller at Band of America in Glendora, Shame on you.

My issue is with BofA the company not this individual branch. My account dipped below the required $1500 to avoid the "monthly maintenance fee" for literally a couple hours. Before the end of the day I had replaced the money but since it was after 8pm they still charged me $12. By charging me the $12 it took my account under again, therefore I will be charged $12 again next month. Despite speaking with an associate and then a supervisor on the phone (after waiting on hold for 10 minutes), they still couldn't as a measure of goodwill reverse the fee. BofA has HORRIBLE customer service, would not recommend them to anyone.

Generally I find this B of A helpful and friendly. Today I waited for the branch to open as their website stated they are open. Apparently, they have not updated their website which left customers standing in line without services. I strongly suggest B of A update their websites so time, effort and energy of customers are not waisted.

Bank of America has now started limiting how much cash you can take out of the bank due to the fact they’re trying to hold onto more of the cash in the system they now will only allow you to take out $2000 at a time Who’s money is it anyway

Came during lunch time to close an existing account and open a new one. Paola was very nice and helpful. Was in and out in less than half an hour.
